You can also check the bin switch, with the board amber and green light.and you can use a drier plastic caps to plug the float boot,to remove and clean,i always leave one at the machine LOL.
Hello. Just want to ask how to adjust the thickness of Hoshizaki Im-cne45.. I want the machine to release Ice faster even tho its not going to be thick..
I’m not sure exactly. You may need to locate the manual or call hoshizaki tech support. Some have float housings, some have floats in the water tank that are not adjustable. I’m not sure what your machine has or how to adjust it.
whats the best way to empty the water reservoir, I don't work on ice machines very much, I do vrf heat recovery systems and builds, but when we are on call service some restaurant chains and man not knowing these units sure sucks i pulled that float one time and made a hell of a mess. OOPS
lol! Did the same thing once. Some machines have plugs and some have a switch you can flip to make the machine drain itself. They’re all slightly different.
Yeah, i have to start using my tech specs book to see the times. Also, Hoshizaki needs to make markings at the adjustment . I like to go halfway between the hole on the top.

Great tips! Thank you 🙏
Great tips bro. Thanx.
Great videos. Not many people on TH-cam simplifing IM troubleshooting.
Thanks. I’m trying to share what I can. I’m also learning a lot in the process.
Excellent video !!!!! 👍👍 you are a Hoshizaki GURU
Hardly. lol
Great Video. Good job and Nice work. Thank you for sharing
Thank you!
You make it look easy.
All day, every day. Nothing but ice.
Thank you for the video.
You’re welcome.
great video, great job on that repair. Did you show how to make that "adjustment" or did I just miss it?
I didn’t. I raised the float switch housing up. Loosened two screws and slid it up.
“I call it a boot…” lol good video
Float Switch Connector is the technical name. Rubber Boot is our slang name for it. lol.
I just did two two beep alarms. I need a reference sheet for what you got here
I think my process in this video was a little off.

Pull diaphragm out of purge valve, turn on pump, pinch-off water feed tube to spray tubes, pump out is quick.
Nice job
💪
You should put the model number of the units you’re working on for search purposes. I was looking for km-250 tutorial to listen to
I will try to make that happen going forward.
Clean pump section. How old is the machine?
Not that old. Less than a year I think.
Yeah spray tubes were very clean. Not used to seeing that.

This machines make most of the ice at the end of freeze cycle,to short of a freeze might be low production,2 cents.
Hmmm…. You make a valid point. Maybe instead of a 20 minute freeze I could have tried for 25 minutes.
it calls for 28 to 30 min.3 1/2 harvest +or-@@IceMachine411
