Great diagnosis! I rarely or never run into a bad txv on a I’ve machine I’m curious if they opted to do the work or just replace. Looks hammered. Could it have been a natural restriction in the valve needle? Or a sticky spring?? I’ve seen that one could take a torch and heat up the txv to try to melt that restriction , tapping it with a screw driver handle. Easy to test that bulb as well and see if moves. Probably was the bulb but maybe if it’s old enough and has one last kick left in it, you could smash the txv and see it throttles open
It’s not all that common. I’m sure now that we’ve talked about it you’ll happen upon one. I did tap on it but nothing happened. I forgot to try and mess with the bottom adjustment. Apparently they’re adjustable but I’ve never attempted it.
Good morning! We missed you
Happy to be back!
Great video. Thank you for sharing. have a nice weekend
Thank you!! You have yourself a great week.
Ooooh thats a relic.
I think it was 18 years old or something like that. Maybe. I’m not sure. It was old though.

I'm so sick of this exact machine lol. Rebuilt 16 this year.
These machines have been nice to me. Some terrible installs that make it hard to work on them but they’ve been alright.
