Hey Andrew this is honestly one of the best games I've ever watched on this channel. It felt like everyone was doing things, no one at the table had a ridiculously OP/Over-priced deck, and it was honestly just a joy to watch. Games like these are why I subbed to you!
Nick wouldn't have been able to change both targets of Malicious Affliction at 9:30 because Affliction copies itself on cast, so he could only redirect the one targeting Pako, but not the other one

I love seeing these unique deck ideas like the "Party With" deck and the "King" deck where it had a lot of thematically kingly cards (Like getting to choose how each player votes).
As a person who's was never a fan of the party mechanic since it was announced and therefore never really looked into it for commander this match has given me a new respect for the new Tazri. "Partner With" tribal is a route I never would have thought of. Probably will never play the deck myself though since I'm not that big a fan of five color but I love the deck. Definitely did a better job of showing off what that commander is capable of than the Command Zone did that's for sure.

Great game! Lots of back and forth and all sorts of threats this game! I actually really, really liked seeing a crazy partner-centric commander deck! One small question/observation: Did you block one of the flying creatures with the spirits produced by Forbidden Orchard? Because I think those spirits are colorless, flying-less creature tokens. Nonetheless, looking forward to more awesome videos!!

Nice game! One thing, though, there were two Malicious Afflictions on the stack (the original and a copy created because of Morbid). Only one of the two Afflictions can be redirected.
That was an amazingly fun game to watch! There was so much cool stuff happening that I wasn't sure who was going to come out on top. I wonder if the Pako attacks kept stealing all your lands, I couldn't tell because I was trying to keep track of all the cards he was getting lol
You technically don't receive priority when someone dies as the game would not wait for an end step because Nick no longer is in the game and doesn't have a turn. You can still respond to the point of damage from Syr Konrad on the stack, but activating the nullmage would have to have been done in response. Not much of a game changer, just an PSA. Good game!
800.4a. When a player leaves the game, all objects (see rule 109) owned by that player leave the game, any effects which give that player control of any objects or players end, and all spells and abilities controlled by that player on the stack cease to exist. Then, if there are any objects still controlled by that player, those objects are exiled. This is not a state-based action. It happens as soon as the player leaves the game. *If the player who left the game had priority at the time he or she left, priority passes to the next player in turn order who’s still in the game.*
I would take Courser of Kruphix out of the deck. It reveals your top card to the table, which used to be ok but now, for the same amount of mana, there is Radha, Heart of Keld. She is 100x's better than Courser
@@olafthemoose9413 nah. Honestly I don't like the idea of play with the top of your library revealed. It gives your opponents critical information. If they know what cards are coming then they can usually prepare to counter that card or something. Radha is absolutely disgusting!
@@kingginger3335 yes, rhada is better and yes them knowing your draws is bad too, but i think courser is worth a slot anyway. A) he's and enchantment (up and downside) B) he's Mono G, C) he gains life and D) he is cardadvantage and unconditional cardadvantage can be hard to come by in green
@@olafthemoose9413 True, but most decks board states and combo pieces are mostly artifacts and enchantments so people are running more removal than normal, especially artifact and enchantment removal, making it easier to destroy. Plus the 1 life isn't as substantial as you might think. I run Windgrace so ramping and having a lot of mana early is no issue. I also run other landfall lifegain cards so having the things I need is not that much of an issue. The problem it does have is drawing cards. If I don't get something like Tectonic Reformation down early then it has a rough time advancing the board state.
Because I was inundated at the start of the pandemic with people worried I wasn't (when I was using older games). I want to reassure them that we're being safe.

I think the deck will lean more towards party tribal with the D&D set next year, but Partner Tribal gave me the most value-wise with this commander.
