Good advices
I have the charger and I love it! I do adjust the headset and make sure it’s connected and it’s fine. Both headset and controllers are charged and ready to go; I recommend it also unless a 3rd party comes up with a better one. Jasmine can u assess the Oblik facial interface? It’s a custom made facial interface that’s suppose to provide the best comfort….but it is pricey. Very curious to see what you think
Do you or someone around you have a multimeter by any chance? Many people would love to know what the pins on the dock actually are (voltage, ground, sense, etc) so that we can make custom docks...
Some other reviews you hear an audio beep when you place the Headset ..
Both me and my son do not get that and i did not hear one in your review either ?
Sometimes I hear it but not always… so I don’t rely on hearing it
I got it along with the Elite Strap with battery and of course it is not worth it (the first one is not too). It’s worth maybe 50-60% the price BUT I still do not regret purchasing it. If you are a heavy user of your Quest 3 of course.
A little complaint: centering the headset is not that easy especially with the strap with battery. It’s very sensitive to a little offset even with the table to support it. So I confirm what you say basically
Yea, there’s way better options than the elite strap. I’m surprised by how annoying it is to get the headset charging on this considering the price.
FYI the Meta controller straps don't get in the way of wireless charging

Yea, they work with meta official knuckle grips but not much else
HELP!!I am having the worst time trying to get my headset to charge. I put the headset on the dock and it gives me no light at all. I know its on properly because i can feel the magnetic pull when i try to take it off. This is the second dock station as i thought the first one i bought was broken. I exchanged it and i am having the same issue. What am i doing wrong?
Maybe you broke the magnetic things or got water in them. That will not allow you to use magnetic charging.
I just got the charger today, and I had a little trouble getting the headset stay connected. My solution was to lay a wii controller on top of the front of the headset to help push it down!
It's crazy how finicky the pin connection is! For something that's $130, you'd think there'd be some sort of snapping mechanism. But that's really the only con of this dock. Otherwise, it's amazing!

I can’t get the headset portion to charge at all even with so much finagling. So frustrating
I had this issue and it turned out I didnt push my facial interface all the way in when I swapped it for the blue one

Can someone tells me how the controllers bateries are charging, while its all plastic? If I remember well plastic dont conduct electricity

@VRwithJasmine I can't remember which on I got. But I think that none of them work work on the charging dock.
@VRwithJasmine Tocovos is the brand I bought. It's a very thin silicone one. I also have the elite strap. I have to prop the back up for it to work.
For me it’s not worth it. I still have issues with the Pro headset sitting properly on that charger. I also have grips on my controllers so that wouldn’t work. Great review though!
I’ll probably feel the same if I get controller grips. I haven’t yet.

No, just makes sure it’s always charged as long as you use it

ONLY DOCK THAT WILL CHARGE YOUR CONTROLLERS WITH THE AFTERMARKET HAND STRAPS ATTACHED...
No, nothing Meta sells accessory wise is worth the price they are asking. Meta sells the headset at cost or even a slight loss, so they are trying to make up for it in short term on accessory price gouging. Only thing the charging dock has going for it is the inductive pickup batteries (which meta charges 70 dollars to replace btw). At that point your almost better off with the pro controllers which have built in rechargeable cells.
False Information about the charger though. Meta actually recommends a 45W Charger for the Dock. DONT BUY THAT 40 DOlLAR THING
