I gave up the game at this moment. I could only get one battery to plug into each board, and the rest glitched through. I even turned one over and stuck it into the drawer of batteries to see if any would stick 😅. That's enough, it's broken and I've had enough anyways.
One thing I really appreciated with this game (so far as I've played), is that excruciatingly long elevator ride down. The apprehension within me built way up and gave scale to the game.
Crap. Me too! This is my first puzzle game, and I feel dumb. I’m not a gamer though. I think if you’ve been playing games your whole life, it’s a little easier. Even my kids can do it. I, on the other hand….needed this video. Ty!
@49:42, you said that this may be the only place in the game where you can actually die, but that you hadn't tested it. I tested it, and found that you cannot die. If you stand still, the red wave will stop just short of you until you move. I'm not 100% certain if the wave moves faster towards you if you move faster away from it, but I think so. Since posting this comment, I have tested the speed of the wave relative to the speed of my movement away from it, and the speed of the wave does indeed vary with how fast I move away from it. If you intentionally go into the wave, you will simply be on the other side of it (but teleporting will no longer work on that side).
I’m in the last room now but this game gives me waaay to much anxiety to continue 😅 I’m going to finish it eventually though and I couldn’t have gotten that far without this 🙂 thank you❕
Game has a slight horror theme to it that I didn't realize it had when I got the game. It's not to bad, but the fear of the horror elements is defs enhanced in vr. I figured the red spacesuit guy is trying to help me figure out what has gone wrong at the station so it's not to bad.
Just finished this for about 5-6 hours without any walkthrough. Can’t believe of what happened in the end. I thought it’ll be much longer. That’s why I come here. Great game tho.
Just got my Q3 a couple of weeks ago and I just finished this game which I really enjoyed. Thanks for your walkthrough. It helped me out a couple of times. Guess I'll have to play Red Matter II now.
This is a great game visually. Graphics are amazing as far as standalone Quest 2 games go. The story is... Meh. Kind of stupid, but I was digging the tension with the whole cosmonaut ghost thing. The puzzle interaction was pretty great. Just complicated enough to keep you involved and wanting more. Only other downside... $30 for a game that can beat in 1-2 hours, depending on how long you take on the puzzles and how much time you spend exploring/admiring the graphics. No replay value whatsoever. No DLC. Ugh... Hard to say if it's really worth that money. But if you got it to spend, or you see it on sale, it's worth a shot just to see how cool everything looks.
IMO it’s worth it because doing an escape room costs you like $40 per person for one hour. Me and my wife both love escape rooms, this costs less and gives more bang for your buck
You get the order for the 3-digit safe with the number from the trophies by looking at the poster on the opposite wall that shows you which order the trophies should go in.

i think my game is bugged. I'm in the part where you need to turn on the main reactor. I managed to turn on the sub-systems, but I was playing with the circuit boards before that and put the 2 of them in the lift operation thing first. Now I can't get either of them out after turning on sub-systems. I thought maybe because they are correct already, but moving the lever does nothing. Playing on Quest if that matters. Not sure what to do next.
Hello and thank you for the video. I have a question about puzzle which is safe with combination lock. I watched your explanation for 3 times and still have not a slightest clue how are you getting those numbers. The puzzle starts on minute 29 of your video. Could you please explain how are calling absolutely different numbers when reading a paper with different numbers that I see. And how are you getting that final number to put into a safe? No matter how much I fiddle with the wheels in the comms tower, tuning for sensitivity, I can't get the map to turn blue. This is the SteamVR version over Virtual Desktop -- perhaps the Oculus version works better?
I was completely lost around the 30 minute mark. I randomly pressed those button symbols but i noticed every time i pressed 2 blocks next to each other, they would stick in. Then the scanner said it was an art piece so i dismissed it as nothing and spent a good 15-20 mins going back and forth between the 2 rooms wondering what i was missing

In the room with the red pawn and the locker with 3 numbers under statues, there is a poster on the wall with the 3 symbols that the statues represent, the order is the same as the poster so the first statue number is the first symbol on the poster and so on.
Aha so the loyalty test room did bug out on me. I scoured every inch of the room because after the escape pod question nothing happened. The door didn't open. I thought I was stupid for not solving it with so few elements in the room.
At 1:01, I can't open that hatch. I've scanned the drive, watched the video, saw the Red Astronaut but no amount of pulling or twisting will open that hatch for me.

So I watched your video to confirm I was correct, then went back in and tried the same code again, and again, then eventually, it worked. Weird and annoying. But at least I could move on.
how did yo understand the safe puzzle? I cant understand what you mean at all on that part 29:54?
Sorry for poor explanation.
The numbers you are given from the note are
3468,
4677,
5886,
6095,
7xxx.
Look at the first digit in each number, then the second digit in each number etc.
The first numbers are [3,4,5,6,7], and you are pretty much given that the combination starts with 7.
The second digits are [4,6,8,0,?]. Each digit increases in steps of two, so the next digit in the series (our digit) is 0+2=2.
The third digits are [6,7,8,9,?]. Each digit increases in steps of one, so the next digit in the series (our digit) is 9+1 which loops back to 0.
The fourth digits are [8,7,6,5,?]. Each digit decreases in steps of one, so the next digit in the series (our digit) is 5-1=4.
Final code is 7204.
thanks for the walkthrough need more games like these
thomasnb2 I was very confused by this puzzle thanks for trying explain, I just don’t get it I must not be that smart
@@NasheedPog so thats why the numbers r written vertically, we have to figure that out all by ourselves without any other clues, right? Damn I keep looking at the paper like a dummy for about 5 mins but still :) thanks for the explaination
