Hey I’ve been failing for weeks with emulsion, I even use my Cricut to make the stencil for the screen, duuuuuuuh! Seeing how you can just fill the screen with the vinyl. You just save me a bunch of time. ❤️❤️❤️
I love the magnets holding the teflon sheet on your top platen. I saw covers that were made for it but they looked cheap and flimsy. This is so much easier.
You can watch this video which breaks everything down and links in the description for everything you need to do screen printing th-cam.com/video/6Wm608WzTFQ/w-d-xo.html
Also if you don’t have a heat press, you can use water based ink. So that basically air dries. Update : But @corinneblackstone pointed you can heat set with an iron.
No you can get a screen and ink for under $25 you can find everything I use at amazon.com/shop/corinneblackstone And the ink lasts forever it takes so little ink to do projects and left over on your screen is scraped back into the paint jar.
@@CorinneBlackstone Unless you use Godora DTF powder on a film. It lets you sublimate on cotton or dark fabrics. You'd have to sublimate to white htv first if your image has white in it.

So cute!
Never seen this done before, can you share the specifics such as type of screen used, can I use chalk paste or permanent ink medium?

No if you do not heat set it it will wash out. You can however use a home iron to set it as well.
So to dry screen printing shirts you can just heat press it as normal? Set to what temperature & time?
You need allow the ink to completely dry then you need to heat set the ink 320 for about 40 seconds
yeah, ive tried screen printing lol
But is it expensive if you already have stock for htv and sublimation?

Also keep in mind you can only sublimate on light colors so it really limits your choices for colors
I looked on your link but was unsure what supplies you used. I’ve never seen this method before but I am interested. Thank you
@@kimhuff1471 everything is under screen printing supplies is what I use

Can I use the same method to print on paper?
If you are asking if you can screen print on paper you can but you will want to use this ink and not the ink for fabric amzn.to/45f1BIB
