The orbital burning down while SCVs used it for almost a minute of mining is probably the saddest building death I've ever seen in this game.
Sacking the banes into the rock had me dying.
Harstem wasn't even mad about those. I'm sure every Zerg does that from time to time. Only 3 (4) banes, not so bad as his macro was, haha.

I think the form needs an added "Tell what time you think early, mid and late game" I think alot of people get those times very very wrong
Early game is whenever I send my first harassment. Mid game is when I F2-A move my army and there's more than one unit type. Late game starts two minutes before the final fight, whenever that happens to be. Easy :D

I think what would be hilariously refreshing would be Harstem doing one of these and roasts the submitter, then the submitter is introduced, and then Harstem coaches the player while they play a match, leading them through the game whole heartedly like the tourney he just did without playing for those diamond players.

Building only light units against blue flame hellion is certainly a decision....
Mech wasn't the problem here, but I do think mech being to strong is a convo worth having. I tend to switch between zerg and terran occasionally and play one for a while, as zerg terran mech is awful to play against and zerg seems to have no answers.
As terran my tvz Winrate when doing mech is crazy, and I see no reason to not mech every time vs zerg.

Hello Captain. My IMBA complaint is about Hamster being IMBA. Every time Hamster is deployed I lose any ability to keep my face straight and fall into rolling on the floor laughing, losing all my crap in the process. I tried downers, yet the almighty Hamster managed to get into my head to strike a couple hours later. I tried preventing Hamster from occurring by not watching your IODIS videos for a month, alas this cheater warrior have found the way into my mind and made me laugh once again. So please tell me, Captain, has Hamster to be nerfed for the sake of sanity and global quality of life, or do I just suck?

I think a cool thing that Hamster could do is when he shows the build orders, he could cross out the things that they didn’t follow and put the timings that they actually used. I think it would be funny to see how accurate the build orders that the players use are atleast for the the first few minutes.

I think Reynor or Lambo "forced" him to do it on one of their games. It was a gag where Harstem was tied up or something. Can't remember, it was a while ago.

Both players tried their best to lose the game, but BJHO prevailed
Banelings built at home then moved across the map with creep spread at maybe 20% of the map at most covering 30% of the way to the enemy.. bruh.
I think a big improvement for the zerg would be to stop throwing everything away after every fight. Once the fight no longer looks good just go home with your units. I would say the biggest mistake in the game though was making all of those units at 7 min into the game after knowing his opponent has basically nothing left, then instead of immediately going across the map and just winning the game there, he sat at home for 3 minutes before attacking, letting his opponent build an army. Like if you are not going to attack with that army, you shouldnt build it, just drone up to 80.

This is game was sad 😮💨 It reminded me of a dumb moment my ex had when she wanted to eat ramen noodles and our hot water dispenser was broken. she started crying and yelling that she was hungry for ramen noodle and she cant have any because the water machine no longer dispense hot water.
I started lauging saying you can microwave water or we have an oven you can boil water or even the coffee machine can make hot water.

I love how the zerg never built overseer even though he was fighting banshees for 10 minutes. If Terran built 10 more banshees he could a-move them and go make coffee

You can laugh at mech players but you can't counter them just by running cause you will get stabbed in bathroom where good mech players always in position. Unless you are top 100 player in the world. Oh wait, nvm, you are perfectly fine.

Yeh Thors and Stalkers feel invulnerable to me. I am a new Zerg tho so one day ill learn how to use units that need micro. Roach hydra feels so weak since i played 2 years ago.

Actually, Harstem didn't notice that at the first run by with lings, he could have ended the game at 5 min by sneaking in with the scv line going back in main base which would have prevented the player from closing his deposits and by killing I think around 20 scvs here lol

I feel like if zerg went for lurkers, infestors, and vipers he would have crushed those thors and hellions. Just overall horrible composition to fight battle mech.
Two of the hardest to control and all three among the most expensive units in the game to fight two a move units. Maybe dude has a point
@@basicuser54 okay, what would you suggest against thors and hellions? Broods? Nope. Mutas? That's a death wish. Ultras? Muraders straight counter that and can easily mass... maybe more lings banes and hydras? Because that obviously works as we saw 😂

@@jullianpree6791 I think, the counter attack part is too much for a die player to handle. But having 2 control groups and clicking 2+3 buttons should be totally in the cards.

I mean, there's always the option of taking those units you make and, hear me out, instead of sending a dozen lings and five hydras against the thors, why not let the army build up in your base a bit and then overwhelm with the thrice the number? Thors not only build slowly, but also move slowly, so careful army management will allow you to remain constantly up on reinforcing supply within your own territory.
Hellbat Thor is legit my build because I forget to stim / stim with no medivacs / stim to 10 health because "stim stacks" 🙃

Usually, I would give the benefit of the doubt and say it gets hard to tech switch sometimes, but Roaches are tier 1, the Zerg was under no pressure most the game, and there was no evidence that they planned to build anything other than Lings and Hydras. They were probably just trying to brute-force a unit composition countered by mech.
Roaches get shredded by thors, but would have been better than the lings, I agree. Knowing the right comp is more difficult than Harstem gives credit for I would say

but yeah... lings just dont work at all... they dont really damage thors and they get roasted by hellions... worst unit choice for sure
So, im a noob so i probably am missing something here, but why didnt he swap to roaches instead lings and pulled out of gas for minerals ? Wouldve been a couple of clicks but 200% more value.

woah the resources screen at 7:03 didnt show the damage on CC that needed to be repaired. Captain is totally biased and doesnt count properly.
Mech players need to siege up before stabbing you. Very easy to avoid.
