Hello Grace all the way from North Carolina. I've been playing guitar for 57 years now and I just want to say I think you're a very talented guitar player and I would be proud to play some music with you and make some noise!! If you keep on playing by the time you get as old as I am now which is (64 years young) you will be one of the best guitar players on earth!!! No if's and's or but's about it. Keep it up young lady and keep posting your videos and as long as you do I'll keep on watching them. You also have a great style and a great tone as well. I tell the younger generation that I may be an older man not but at least I got to see some of the best bands to ever walk out on any stage and once I got a little older I actually got to work with and meet some of the classic rock bands. May God bless you and keep you and your loved ones safe and sound during these crazy times we're all living in these days! 🎸🎤🎻🥁🪕🎶🎙🎹
and who said that the blues was a dying art... nope, check out this 17 year old girl who can let the blues flow right out of her soul right along with all the great names... it's young people such as Grace who will keep the blues alive for us.
She is 17 and already plays better than many mythologized players. What will she do in a ten years time? I hope she won't be trapped in pentatonic boundaries and explore the far more challanging fusion/jazz planet and have a look at Lari Basilio and Jess Lewis, just for example. All the premises are there!
I know what you mean exactly. Seeing Mateo, I was like "hell, may as well burn the axe". Then Grace? We are so lucky to have the Internet-Only thing it seems to good for...lol:))
Agreed 100% They met at the John Prine Tribute concert, so I'm hoping conversation about a collaboration or guest appearance may be in the works, please Lord!
Watching her Rig Rundown and listening to her play I’m kind of tempted by that 68 Deluxe Reverb reissue. And a wah pedal! Not that I would sound anything like her. She’ totally deserves all the attention. Just fantastic playing.
Grace Bowers (17 years old) should meet Australia's Grace Aberhart (19), who is an incredible bass player. Maybe find an 18 year old drummer named Grace, and we'll have all the pop music we need for the next 30 years. 😁
The way she effortlessly moves back and forth between using a pick and her fingers is mind blowing. I had to watch 1:04 and 1:32 about 5 time to see how she made the transition.
Would love to see her in a jam with Charlie Hunter, who plays lead, rhythm and bass simultaneously on a 7-string with dual bass and lead pickups; if you are into music, you need to check him out.
Hi Grace, really compliments, I really like your style, we have the same guitar, but I wanted to ask you which bridge you mounted? it's a swing bridge but there are no holes in the body like I've seen in other guitars. Thank you, greetings from Palermo, Sicily.
I wonder if people viewing this on a cell phone can tell the difference between this and the audio of live music captured on a cell phone? As far as I can tell no one on TH-cam seems to care much.
Grace you sound great- no need to keep fiddling with your knobs so much. When you really feel it your articulation and volume control come from your fingers and attack, not fiddling with the knobs. It's a bit distracting visually, and if you are thinking about your knobs so much your not fully feeling the flow of the song/vibe with your bandmates. Your young and incredible already, just offering a bit of advice from an old guitar player so you don't develop bad habits or lose your feel of the music. For only playing a few years you're incredible and way past me and most at your age playing rock and blues. You have a bright future.
I can see your point but coming from being a Dead Head since 1970, Jerry Garcia was the biggest fiddler I ever saw. Sometimes drove me nuts. Sometimes to ecstasy. 😅
And yet another generation finds "The Sound" of the ages that will always "endure"!! Well Done Grace!
Music for my soul’s delight.

@@peanut422hb Huh?…🤔
Whatever your parents did, they did it right!!! I have a new faith in your generation.

I agree. I just discovered her last week, and I really like the "loose" way she plays. She's so at home. Would love to watch her play some Zappa.
Simp
One word:
„WUNDERBAR!!!“🎸🔥
Greets from Germany.🇩🇪
Good old school power trio rock.
The bassline reminds me of Grand Funk Railroad and Grace has her own tone, deep, gritty and exceptionally smooth.
Wow! Tasteful and full of space. No overplaying.
I am speechless. At 77, I can say that she will be soon the all time best!
He .......✌️
I was hearing some phrases in my head that Grace could be playing, but wasn't, and then... she played them. She really is pretty surprising.
I’m sorry, have I been living under a rock?! I thought I was blown away by Mancuso, now this?! You gotta be kidding me.
I know what you mean exactly. Seeing Mateo, I was like "hell, may as well burn the axe". Then Grace? We are so lucky to have the Internet-Only thing it seems to good for...lol:))
Perfect how you play with your right hand with those loose fingers!
Shes got her own style. I like it
Would love to see a jam with Grace & Derek Trucks......🕶️

Thinking the same thing. Get that double drum set playing and Susan Tedeshi...
this is grace bowers at her best
This relieves some of my despair over losing Jimi, Stevie Ray, Jeff, etc.
Own the air around you sweet child. Own it.

Wow!!! Such beauty! All around!
Very cool! Love it! Grace has a style of her own and it is sweet!
Palming that pick is like magic
Grace is AMAZING keep on Rockin!!
That sounded fantastic 👍👍
This bass with a soft fuzz pedal will be awesome! Great performance.
Best Grace Bowers video I've seen. Excellent feel.

Call it amazing grace
POP? Music...WTF over.

The Three Graces is a statue of Zeus's daughters so I'm sure there's some sort of Zeus/Jupiter name for a band. Zeus's Children sounds mega 60s though
По-моему Грэйс уже заявила о себе в лучших отношениях! Она великолепная! И дальше будет ещё лучше!!! Грэйс!Я люблю Вас!!!!+❤❤❤❤❤
Grace has developed great range
I love her jazzy blues style ! 🏁🏁🎵🎵
The way she effortlessly moves back and forth between using a pick and her fingers is mind blowing. I had to watch 1:04 and 1:32 about 5 time to see how she made the transition.
Where does she store it? I can kind of see, but my brain goes "Nah. Impossible. "
@@joandtomx1483 Yeah, crazy smooth. I think she drops it into her middle and ring finger and cradles it there... I think?
Really digging this one !😎👍. Happy 2024 to you all .
Tone wizard!
Freaking incredible!
Y’all sound great ! Love the groove keep it up!

Grace sabe cómo tocar tocar el blues y los demás músico saben cómo acompañarla y todo hace mucho n grupo excelente guau
I'm sure Grace is a time traveller from the 60's.

She has said he's her favourite guitarist.
Grace's speed and fluidity are superb, but what is most impressive is her impeccable tone. At age 17, she's a grand master!

Grace, you sound sooo much like Jeff Beck, but you have just started good. I can listen to your instrumentals all day.
Very cool 😎
Great Tune. She's got The Bules Baby. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🐉
Her Band is In Tune.
This is sick
👏👏👏 y toda la vida por delante!!
Me recordó a B. Cobham.
Creo que a "quadrant 4".
No, era "Stratus"

A wicked groove. Loved it!

Killer!
Driving North as opposed to Jimi's driving south. 😊
That strap is killing. Anyone got an ID?
I get it. Sounds like someone jamming to a backing track in their bedroom. Where are the chord changes? Who is she? Miles Davis?
Can we get you to jam with Guthrie Govan?
is she the next Jimi Hendrix. what. a skills. she have. at 17 year old.
Is she the new Frank Zappa ? Her frazing and tuning is really unconventional as Franks was its not something i listen to.

Grace - I’m not a musician but I would encourage you to keep on fiddling with any knobs you want, it sounds wonderful!
I can see your point but coming from being a Dead Head since 1970, Jerry Garcia was the biggest fiddler I ever saw. Sometimes drove me nuts. Sometimes to ecstasy. 😅
