I'm only 15, been playing guitar for about 4 years now, and it's motivation that other young people are doing so well and so much in the music world like I want to eventually do
Exact same story except I’m turning 15 in may
@@wyattc. happy early birthday and I wish you luck on your journey
@@Dashpoint_M you too
GO YOU!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
@@ryanweatherman-holt4805 thank you!
The sad thing about this is that I am 54, played guitar since I was 15, been "lazy" about getting distracted about video games and other things--and could never play like this little guitar monster in my almost 40 years of playing. She is GREAT and obviously exceptionally gifted. (I love her vibrato!!)
I used to be like that but I realised I don’t really care. It’s not a competitive sport so I accept my mediocrity with grace 😂
Same...
Not sad at all if yer still rocking! Rock on!
I've been playing for around 17 years and can't play as her. Actually, I've uploaded some vids here on YT, as a guitar journal. You know what? That's ok, music is not a competition, anyway... try to enjoy your journey! I hope I can achieve your age and still have joy to pick the guitar up, sir!
What is so special about her playing? I dont hear anything. Just the same pentatonic noodles every other guy plays
I'm glad for her moment in time. Years from now, she'll look back fondness. Our LORD & KING, watch over your Princess. Give her wisdom beyond her years, and be her guard against the wolves.
Gary, I've prayed that similar prayer over so many young guitarists, begging God to keep them safe as they navigate their way through the mire that is the music industry. I've had nothing but bad luck myself and when I see fresh young people coming up, and the same unmitigated bastards who ruined my career over and over, lining up to ruin them, it truly breaks my heart! Try and tell 'em though, and most of the time they just can't believe that I'm telling them the truth.
I remember watching her go live on Reddit, during the time that she spoke of, when shelter in place is implemented. She used to sit on the roof of her house and just jam on an acoustic, it was amazing she had to have been 13 or 14 at the time.
She is a natural, this young lady has had it in her for quite some time, it's cool to see her flourish into her own right, in the professional music scene. She deserves every bit of recognition & success coming her way, phenomenal gifted musician.
Playing unplugged while watchin TV/Videos ia something I do to this day. Great video man.
This young lady is pure class!
as someone around the same age as grace, ive never been more inspired
Such a humble person with MAD skills and such a strong feel for melody.
Beautiful young lady with a beautiful personality and the guitar chops to back it all up. Best of luck to her on a long long prosperous career.. ❤️❤️
What a gift. I love her enthusiasm for all kinds of music.
The future of music is in safe hands 🤘Have been watching her on Instagram for a while now and she is amazing 🤘
So great to see young people coming back to the guitar. It doesn’t hurt that she’s very likeable and cute, she actually gives me young Dolly vibes. Players like her will draw young guys back to the guitar and make it cool again!
I think we just see some very exceptional young people who play it. But overall I don’t think more people are picking up guitar.
What a wonderful, talented, tasteful player Grace is !
It’s just incomprehensible to me how anyone can get so good, so fast, so young !
Great work !
Tory Slusher, now you know
There are 5 year olds that can play Paganini blindfolded. LOL! She's less than mediocre in every way.

It's really exciting to see new young talent that can carry the torch of great music.
She's beautiful ❤️ amazing person she is
Love hearing and seeing young folks passionate about music and especially guitar! She's great. I look forward to seeing what she comes up with in what will certainly be a long career in music.
This is SO GREAT!!! Honestly, I hope this inspires other girls to do their thing and own it. A lot of my favorite musicians in the last 30 years are women, and to see this kid be an ace at 17 makes me so happy and hopeful for the future. Tyler, you're terrific for doing this, and I sincerely hope Grace does take over the world.
I wonder how many kids got hooked on Guitar Hero and then went on to real guitar and got discouraged and quit. Millions. How many stuck with it? Enough to lead the instrument into the future. She also has a lot of influences from many styles of music which is rare for a young'in. I wish her well.
What an amazing musician, I can't wait for the rest of the album to come out.
Very humble little awesome guitar player. And so young. I'm going to follow this one, she is great to listen to. Both guitarists in this video were very good including the host.
The catwalk in front of a stage is often called an "ego run" or "ego stage".
Grace is awesome. She's inspiring for my autistic daughter who loves that Grace plays SGs.
Or, more commonly, "Ego Ramp".
Interesting - and how many cats does it take to make a catwalk?
I’m autistic, and have 3 SG’s. Best shape ever
@@TieNylon I've heard so many ways of saying it and they all start with "Ego" LOL
@@Ottophil Cool. I bought her a Squier Tele but then she discovered AC/DC, and then Grace, so at some point I see an SG in her future.
First saw her with Marty Schwartz. Grace is a phenomenally talented and humble person! All the BEST to her!⭐️🙏⭐️
Grace and Marty are both awesome!
SHE HAS THAT OLE GUITAR SOUL, SHE' S GREAT!!!!!!!!!
The Nashville chapter being at the 6:15 timestamp is a nice touch.
She is just awsome!
The new generation of guitar is exciting! ⚡️
Then why is she trying to sound like her GRANDPARENTS? LOL! 1000% unoriginal in every way.
@@KarlKarsnark Spoken by someone who has absolutely NO understanding of music whatsoever. Blues and rock are still great genre's of music, regardless of their original generation and still very popular, in spite of the attempts by clueless musicians today to discredit it. great job on Grace! she is superb!
She cracks me up. I’m in my 50’s and she looks like the poster of my generation. She has great thing going, great vision and understanding of the guitar. She looks amazing behind a guitar. It match made in heaven!
Years ago, l was so excited to discover Grace and her talent. Now after years of grooming by her production team, l don’t know who she is musically. And l’ve seen every interview. I don’t know if she is a great improviser, session player, songwriter, received any formal music education, produced music for artists, performed on recordings for artists, played in music festivals, produced her own videos, gone on a live tour, signed a recording deal, or really been exposed to the public for scrutiny. But I have been told by every interviewer that she is a wonderful person and has individual characteristics that make her unique and amazingly special. And it’s been years of this. As someone who believes in her, l am beaten to death by the People magazine aspects of her life and need to be satisfied musically by her playing achievements. And years later l’m still waiting because of only two reasons- her production team doesn’t want that or she isn’t capable of that. Time to cut the bullshit.
I'm glad someone said this also People act like I'm a hater when I say it. Or I'm sexist, and outright shut down when I point out the obvious.Undeniably talented, but I also feel like we are getting a created and groomed scenario. I hope it's because she's young that it feels so vapid, but I'm afraid the last few years have not evolved forward. It just feels off. But I'm still rooting for her fully.
"...grooming by her production team..." Yeah, "Modern Hollywood" is rather notorious for that sort of thing, isn't it?
She’s…17. “Waiting”…”time to cut the bullshit…”. She’s 17. Just getting started. What I like is she plays with great feeling.
Exactly....I have been watching her videos, and can't believe the crazy hype. She is not evolving as a guitar player, she is regurgitating the same handful of licks, and goofy noodling she been doing since she started. She never floors me with some incredible solo. I am always left wanting something amazing, but I am continually disappointed. This is what I refer to as the "Taylor Swift" Syndrome. They find a pretty girl that can "kind-of" play guitar, and then her team makes sure they insert her onto as many stages, or events as humanly possible. The video with her on stage with Christone Kingfish Ingram is very painful to watch, and showcases her very limited ability on the instrument. More people need to speak up, and hold her feet to the fire. It's great she has a nice personality, but it's a sham to elevate her as the next Clapton, or SRV. I agree, it's time to cut the BS...
most of the festival performances seem to be on TH-cam, I have watched her killing it live for years, what are you talking about. she is always playing.
Ya gotta love the young talent that is out there these days!
I really enjoy your interviewing style, and the format of this along with a fantastic guest. Super nice job with this one!
What... the Starcraft riff? Great throwback for me. Thanks.
This young lady is amazing
She’s phenomenal
In an old instructional video with Danny Gatton (circa 80's), he taught his different picking styles and exercises and quite literally said the same thing about sitting if front of the television with his guitar unplugged and practice those picking exercises...
Danny Gatton the GOAT IMO. It is great to see this young very talented guitarist!
Danny was a monster player
wow shes simply amzing player. i look forward to watching her career.
This. This right here. Yes. YES. I love to see this. She's great, good personality, clearly a smart woman. Can't wait to see more of her. Cheers, mate!
Grace is a badass!!! Keep it rollin' Grace !!!
I love her jam band style. 🎸✌️
Amazing!! Great big successful career ahead of her! All the best!
Its very exciting to see this bright and wholesome young talent learning the box from the king, destined to inspire a whole new generation of guitarists. For Grace: "about to rock, we salute you." 🤘👽🛸
I just ran across a short of her today. Merci from Switzerland.
She's great. Her technique with the pick/fingers and the way she slides in and out of notes reminds me of Chris Buck's style.
Grace is absolutely phenomenal, especially when one considers that she is only 17 years old. On another video, someone said that the song she did was nowhere near as good as a well known and seasoned guitarist. My reply was simply, "and how good was that very experienced guitarist at the age of 17?" People tend to forget that when she is in her late thirties or forties, she would have improved exponentially with experience and just how good will she become if she is already so accomplished at her tender age of 17?
For Grace, the world is at her feet right now and I expect great things from this young lady. So should you!
I just learned of Grace's talents and was searching for videos when I came across this. We're going to hear a lot from her very soon, I think.
Obviously she has great parents. they've done a great job with her in allowing her to express herself the way she wanted to
Hell yea!!!
YOUR HEART IS PUMPING!!!!!
Just found the young lady on my feed today. She is gifted.
Shes awesome! Great attitude and player. Hopefully she inspires the new generation to pick up a guitar.
My guitar teacher told me that way back over 30yrs ago in the UK. Always have a guitar nearby and practice chords and scales while watching movies or TV! Great advice.
definitely a WIN!
incredible talent!
I flipping love her phrasing when you hop into the funky jam. It’s kind of messy and wild and I love that! Sounds like a human on a guitar. Can hear her feel and instinct battling with information in her brain! Beautiful girl, beautiful talent, beautiful guitar. Sauce!
I play with my fingers and never would have thought of the sleight of hand pick trick. That's awesome. What a cool person and great interview.
She is a big wow, how she played the guitar😃
grace to the grace 💪💣💎
I love the SG love! My favorite guitar for the same reasons.
Oh my!!!! Girl, you are incredible!!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍
Great interview!
I've been following Grace on TH-cam for years, so it's great to see this video! It's been amazing to watch her picking and rhythm chops develop.
I feel grace on the "nice perm" bit. I grew my hair out and suddenly if started to get super curly and now it looks like I have a constant perm lol. Grace you have so far you will go, keep up the great work !
I love being the rhythm guitar to a player with skills like that. Makes it so fun to just sit back watch the wide. Makes me wonder if that’s what guys like Glenn Frey felt watching Felder and Walsh play
That special sounds awesome. Love the p blue
There's alot of great guitar players on you tube
So Great she is writing songs VS just doing TH-cam of her shredding. I hope she stays grounded and is successful for a long time.
Pretty smart kid, I pray she' goes super far, man. Really cool Interview.
Awesome vid and so refreshing that youth is still influenced by the great masters of the past. Blues, funk, soul, classic rock, hell ya! Plus playing an SG🤘
Next interview, Taj please😎
You guys sound great together
Cute, wish her the best with her bluesy shredding. Bluesy rock needs to make a comeback on the charts.
NICE!
So true about Guitar Hero - Slow Ride !
Grace Rules!!!!!
So I'm guessing someone is getting her the gigs? Is she working with a manager? I noticed she does a lot of interviews!
Great ❤
Hot DAMN what feel and tone!
amazing !
What an amazing person aside from her talent. Can't wait to see what the future brings with this super star.
I dont think I've ever seen someone so charismatic.
Loving that mint green coily!
Great episode... new player for me that i will be definitely be listening to more now. I am seeing more and more younger players fusing slide guitar style licks into thier playing and it sounds great... I am stealing it 😂
She is so diverse in her playing. I've not seen a lot of her stuff, but she seems pretty cool. Great player and great hang? Doesn't get much better than that.
niiiiice! me and my family saw her at a nashville predators hockey game. she's an incredible guitarist
My 61 SG stays in tune wonderfully from about the end of April- September. Any other time I don’t even bother taking it out of its case anymore. Cool interview and perspective from a youngin
Gotta get you one of those music city bridges
@@kwyatt261it's the weak neck joint.
I hope Grace has a long and successful career. She seems to be one of the good ones.
17 years old, vastly more talented than I could ever be, beautiful... and those boots!
I could really hate this girl.
what a player! A cutie too!
The way Nadi has been presented to the world makes me believe in her…the way Grace has been presented makes me feel like l’ve been manipulated to feel how l do
the way she switches between her pick and fingers I have only ever seen Chris Buck do. Amazing talents, both.
Uncle Larry does that too.
Tory Slusher, now you know
Joe Bonamassa does that. I suspect that most pro blues guitarists can do that especially when covering a song by an artist that does it.
Her SG is bad ass I love her instagram
It was given to her by a kind patron.
I’m looking forward to hearing her new album. Funk/soul is a great idea. Every time is watching a reaction video to a disc or funk song the reactors wish they were around when that music was played. I think it could work:
This young lady is going to take over the blues guitar world. For a young person to understand Feel and Improvisation as well as her is great. Keep on being you Grace Bowers.
No, she won't. She's a flash in the pan, industry plant, and not a very convincing one at that. Stop simping you simpering simp. LOL!
Glad to hear someone pulling inspiration from Sly.
She’s got that “touch”! Can’t wait to grab her album and see her band play live! This gives me hope for the future of blues, soul, funk, etc.
The magic pick trick. 💥💥
STARCRAFT!! Love the reference!
This young woman is gonna go places...she's got the talent to do such great things. Tyler...thank you for showcasing real talent man, keep this up!
Just when I thought Ayla-Tesler Mabe was the peak of modern teen girl blues guitar
Grace enters the picture
"Modern Teen Blues Guitar".....wtf? LOL! Yeah, "Teen Blues" just what everyone was asking for. LOL! Stop simping you simpering simp.
Grace's playing is so inspiring!
What a talented, smart kid. She's gonna do ok in life I think
Been followin this gal for about a year and everytime I see or hear her I’m impressed even more. Amazing artist. People throw the word visionary around a lot these days but Grace, you’re a real one. Btw my dad’s favorite song in the world was Maggot Brain. He just loved Funkadelic. Loved that guitar music. My mother passed when I was 3, she was 25, she was an instrumentalist. From what people tell me, she could play anything. And sing like a bird. So your music is very striking to me. Love seeing young people make amazing new music. Keep on rockin! Great video Tyler. Maybe my favorite yet.
