Took S1 delivery today. I am hearing like MEMU local train like noise similar to this. But the test drive vehicle doesn't have any noise. I was so impressed and bought the scooter
It will be gone after 2500km i also raised service request but they said there is no problem in scooter and noise will be gone after some kilometres but it took 2500km i raised 3 service request for same issue in that time
Dont worry bro its not mager issue, its belt noise when weather little moisture it will appear i have rv400 bike same noise came when humid weather its gone after belt heat up you did notice this sound on break pad also on activa while breaking

I'm Waiting for 6 months and buying new ather scooter which is direct compete to ola s1 pro because ather is trusted brand as compare ro ola because they have their own show rooms.... It's my personal opinion

The noise is an inherent part of a belt drive. All vehicles with belt drives have it. That is probably why Ather has enhanced this noise to hide it and give it a peppy feel.😉

This is not a major issue.....when you drive your scooter more than 2500-3000 it will reduce automatically....the reason behind this is when the belt cross over small Pulley (Motor) then it goes around Wheel pulley directly and then comes to small pulley after crossing a bearing so the free play between Big pulley and bearing causes Slip(mainly friction) which produces this type of noise

I am facing the same problem and i contact to the service station but the said the same the thing that it will be normal after 2k runing but when i ask to other people who also have the same model they said that they didnt face this problme thats why i decided to go to the service station again.

It's may be ,I just said because same noise come through my ola S1 pro ,as a engineer I find the problem and hit lubricant and problem gone. I suggest so that if the same problem you face ,you can resolve it quickly.👍
@@dinkarvijay gen 1 has covered belt and adler bearing for belt tensioning so it's different for gen 1 for gen 2 offcourse you can use small amount of grease to resolve the problem

Defective Motor bearing or wheel bearing. It seems dry or not properly aligned.
And also belt is over tighten.
