Mari, I just want to say thank you for your video. I'm a bori who moved someplace without any Puerto Rican food around him and I've been missing it hardcore and your videos have helped me make some of the food I've missed so much.
I made this for Christmas a year ago and wow... obsessed. Thank you for this beautiful recipe / video that's so straightforward. Gracias y feliz navidad!
Mari as an Indian American I absolutely love Puerto Rican cuisine! Thank you so much for taking the time to post these ultra helpful videos! I am going to make your Coquito recipe and Arroz con gandules recipe for Thanksgiving 🙌🏽
Made this last week with one minor change made it with the cinnamon tea reduced to 4 oz it added a flavor boost this was so easy and so GOOD my wife really enjoyed it and guess will be making alot more. We had never heard of this such a great drink in place of the egg nog
i had coquito for the first time at a holiday party Friday. it was delcious, but too sweet for me. i think i will try to make this next yr, but I will probably need milk added to cut the sweetness for my taste.
Hi girly! Coquito IS indeed pretty sweet! Almost like a dessert with rum. 😂 My recipe uses equal parts of unsweetened milks and sweetened milks. If you want to cut the sweetness down even further, however, you can replace the cream of coconut with a second can of unsweetened coconut milk! 🙏🏽
I did think about adding maybe 1/2 can of the cream of milk but i wanted to know first what your recommendation was. Thank you so much.....i love your recipes

This makes me so happy! Dios te bendiga igualmente!
Excellent recipe. I just made my first coquito. So glad I found you. Thanks for sharing. P.S. My husband gave it two thumbs up 👍!
Wonderful! 💕🎄

Yay! So glad to hear it! Making a spice tea is a classic way of making it, so good job!
Thanks for the easy Coquito recipe, not complicated at all. No egg which works for me. Enjoy your channel on Puerto Rican dishes. Gracias !

🥳
Where did you get the bottle?
I had gotten them at Dollar Tree!
Can i skip the alcohol
Yes we’ve made Virgin coquito it’s the same ingredients minus alcohol
Yes! Just keep everything the same. I always make non-alcoholic for the kids in the family 😂💕
I put to much cinnamon in my coquito...how do i fix it
@@MigdaliaQuiles-b1e Add more of the milks-maybe doubling the recipe without adding more spices.
