    The traditionalists will be horrified but I like it, all the guys who can’t tie mallard blues will love it.
    All the butchers can get this treatment , great fly Dave. Cheers

    Tied a few of these up today. Have always tied the traditional ones before and did well with them so I hope I do as well as you with these new ones. Thanks again for a great tutorial.

    Thanks for that Dave. I've had a spool of blue floss for years and never really found anything to use it with until now.

      @@TheDavedownie Finally found the stuff again and produced the first one. Probably needs a bigger pinch of marabou for the next one. photos.app.goo.gl/uvy8opb4UyJBcLmE9

    Looks deadly, defiantly going to tie a few of them for my box. There must be an old blue jumper somewhere!
    Enjoying the uploads, especially when there's a story to go with the fly.

    David... What a beautiful fly. It looks as though it would actually seduce the trout into taking a chance. It should be called the ''Seductress''! Beautiful and easy to tie. Thank you.

    Great pattern and video easy to follow instructions. I was wondering what bobbin holder you use.

    Neat tie dude but the head cement is getting a bit thick. Maybe a little thinner poured in and shaken (not stirred! lol). Thanks for another one dude. Keep safe.

    I like these patterns but I’m not familiar with them in the US. How do you normally fish them?

    • @TheDavedownie
      @TheDavedownie  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Slow Sink or Fast Sinking lines and a cast of three maybe 16ft long with 2 droppers and pull them in long slow draws back to the boat :)
