both my owner's manual and my service manual for my 2008 WR250R say the quantity of oil with filter element replacement is 1.48 US quarts. I'm posting this because you said the manual said 1.4 quarts.
Removing the skid plate is a good habit to get into when you change the oil. Gives you a chance to look for trapped debris or anything else bad happening down there before it's too late. Good suggestion!
Good job on the video. Agree creeping up on the oil volume. Doesn't the manual talk about the bleeder screw? I don't have the manual yet, but see lots of discussion on this (do it/don't do it)
how do you check the oil level on this? im saving up to buy a wr in a coupole months.i would assume its not going to have a dipstick like a car lol \ edit. nvm, i really should watch the whole video before commenting lmao
I actually had the back door open and cut out video of me opening the overhead door right after I started it. I shouldn't underestimate people's stupidity though... Guess it would've been a good idea to include that step lol.

Ah! Good catch, and that's my mistake. As you can see at 5:21 I say quarts but I was reading the amount in Liters.

Anyway you could do a rear shock spring removal video for us? Seems the spring should be one of the first mods but there are no vids on this.
I've yet to do that on my bike as I have no need to. If I need to remove it I'll be sure to do a video on it.
