I'd rather them be testing criminals put in prison for life. (But I understand the law won't allow that. )
People treat animals as if they were insignificant things when in reality, they have a conscious. They think, feel, and have emotion. They may not understand things at the same capacity as humans, but they're still creatures who feel pain and fear like we do. Things like this show how humans can be cruel. Not all humans are cruel of course, but this is a example of humanity at one of its lowest points.

How can anyone go to work every day and perform such evil acts? I'd rather live under a bridge and be homeless than take this kind of 'work'.

I agree with you 100% no human should be able to do this to an animal, you know to another living being. It's just wrong so many ways. The human wouldn't want this done to them. So why would a human do this to animals? It's just very sad and it makes me angry when I see such things like this. These people are cruel and heartless, they don't care about nothing but themselves and maybe their own families. And shall I say they don't care nothing about that paycheck they get. I mean really the things people do for money it's just sad it's scary. These are God's creatures, God created these animals, and look how terribly and horrific these humans treat these animals. It makes you wonder what they could do to a human, at least it makes me wonder now

I'm a former employee at two different research facilities that used animals. Research using animals is like terrorism in that terrorists hide psychotic urges behind religious and political beliefs, while researchers who inflict pain and death on animals hide their psychotic urges behind scientific beliefs and career status. Torturing animals is also an early symptom exhibited by serial killers and school shooters - the difference being that the research scientists remain frozen in the animal torture phase and don't progress to preying on humans.

Daniel P Actually that isn't even a feasible excuse. These animals don't even have the same biology as humans, so most likely there will be no correlation between something being effective on one of these dogs or a person. These experiments are just wrong and unnecessary torture.
I'm from the USA and I am doing everything I can in my power to stop these cruel and unusual treatments we should not be doing this in the US this is horrible I'm only 14 years old and I swear that I'm doing everything I can

They usually use beagles because of there size and how sweet there are, it's so sad. I've got a beagle from a lab and she is so sweet! She learned that humans can be nice and caring! She's so spoiled now. But you can get an app called the crulity cutter app so when u go to a store you scan the item and it tells you if had it hasn't been tested on animals. Sorry if it was long!

The people responsible for the horrific cruelty to these animals are nothing more than psychopaths. There are far more effective methods of testing drugs, cosmetics.... It is heartbreaking to know the agony these beautiful beings suffer for no reason at all.
I have 7 rescue cats from stores and roads. This makes me sick.

It kinds of varies on the people doing that work but if these places were the only place I could get a job I hope somebody would be merciful and kill me. But it goes all the way to the top. A POTUS I know held up a tiny rare fish in a vial to justify what he was doing in building some public works project. That same POTUS also removed the nascent solar panels at the White House saying it was stupid. Thirty or so years later the people in his political party that shut down research in solar panels complained that the Chinese who perfected solar panels had a corner on the market. Many people in all the political parties but the Green party go along with this for various reasons. Study Jainism, and especially what the most ardent pratictioners of that religion do to see the other end of the spectrum. The upper levels are vegetarians and can't even harm the plants but must beg for their food.

I was going to apply to get a job as a animal caretaker. Everything seemed great until I realized they were used for animal research such as applying treatments a.k.a experiments. I was like heck no. This is evil and it is a SIN to commit such cruelty to animals.

We blur the faces for security and legal reasons. We cannot show faces if there is an impending investigation.
Unless the people doing the bad things are ordering or taking the responsibility for what is to be done you are missing the people who are most responsible for this hell. The Milgram experiment showed that you can get people to do bad things they would not ordinarily do. It is the people that are ordering these atrocities to be done who are most responsible. Second up in responsibility are politicians who continue to allow it to be done. How are we going to get and even worse, punish them? The politicians are the ones making the laws that allow atrocities to go on forever. Every politician in every political party has to be scrutinized.
I wish the same thing would happen to these sick, sick people that did these experiments, so they could feel what the animals feel.
