What a sweetie. 🥰A vet I knew in Illinois took in a gorgeous Russian Blue whose owners thought that 12 years was long enough and wanted her put down. Well, that did not happen. The vet adopted her. When I met this cat, she was 24....and still functioning under her own power.
I can't imagine anything more heartless than bringing in your pet and deciding it's lived long enough. I hope the horrible people who did that get their just karma in life. Thank God, she went on to have a beautiful life.
Wow that’s a heartbreaking story. 😢But I’m glad things turned around for that baby who still had half her life left!! 😻
I have a Russian blue. He’s 20 and I’ve had him since he was about 8 weeks old. He is such a character. He could have his own TH-cam channel 🥰
I hope she can live long like the famous longest cat ever live, Cremepuff😊
That's horrible! "Long enough"? Some people are just awful.
I teared up thinking about how thankful that previous owner would've been knowing their baby was well taken care of after they passed away.
I hope this lady has many more happy years with Beanie.
@jmr9735 Danke für dein posting!!! 🥰
A beautiful message and thank you for writing it.
Every cat deserves a beautiful human.
Every human deserves a beautiful cat. ❤
Amen
@@mr.winkie The human monsters - there are too many - don`t!!!
@@mr.winkie Unfortunately, not every human does deserve a beautiful pet....some humans are absolutely horrid.
@@Cat-pz7wj very much agreed.
She's gorgeous! So glad the two of you connected! Senior cats have so much love and affection to give. Thank you for rescuing her!
I'm so happy there are people who purposefully adopt older animals like this lovely lady. There are advantages and these people are desperately needed I'm told.
Yes. I love senior dogs especially. I've had many over my long life. Sweet angels.
I love senior cats. They are relaxing and cute
Thank you for getting a senior baby.
When I think of senior animals who have had one home their entire life, where they were obviously very loved, then their owner passes away and to end up in a shelter. It breaks my heart. I am so happy to see stories like these. Thank you for sharing!
Of all times in a pets life, the Senior years should be the golden years, with love, comforts and care. So glad Beans got that golden retirement.
My heart aches when I think about how they feel and what they think in that situation! How confused they are… just awful! Sometimes I get very frustrated that I don’t have the funds to adopt a whole bunch of animals in need .. I already have rehabbed a squirrel! He just passed away last year 💔 7 years with our little Squee Squee! 💜💜💜 now I have two cats and 3 fish and my mom has a dog ! It’s a lot to just feed them !
That's why I'm looking to adopt a senior cat. I'm a senior and I have lots of love to share.
@@melissasabie722 I hear you on wanting to save them all. But it sounds like you are doing an amazing job with all the pets you have (and your mum and her dog!). I have two 17 year old cats. One of them is diabetic, blind in one eye and hard of hearing, but as far as he knows, he is perfect!
I am allowed 2 pets only where I live. Sometimes I think it’s a good thing I can have only 2 pets or this place might be a zoo!
Condolences on the passing of your Squee Squee, seven years sounds quite impressive! Also the name Squee Squee for a squirrel is pretty awesome!
@@nancydemoss2945 gud for um, go for it . Kudos 👍🐈🐾🐾🐾🐱🐱❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏
As a senior human, this story warms my heart. Beans has found a wonderful loving home where she can rest & relax in her senior years. It's all any of us could want.
Thank you SO MUCH for your kind heart and empathy.
My three legged cat turned 19 Yesterday. Still Shining and living the best Life as i can give to her ♥️
🎉🖖🙏🙏
What happened to her leg?
Beanie! Thank you, thank you for rescuing and adopting this stunning girl. You are gentle and compassionate. Love is all that matters..
Thank you for taking this sweet baby.
God bless everyone who gives senior kitties a home! They’re some of the best cats ever!
I too have adopted a Furry Feline Senior who was in basically the same situation - my Ruby was in a shelter for 4 - 5 months as the previous owner had presumably passed - the podgy senior was overlooked as people wanted the Kittens - of course the Kittens are cute, however I work full time and needed a cat who was content with his / her own company during the working day - Ruby came home with me on Friday 7th July 2023 and on the Sunday night she put her head into the crook of my arm and sobbed in a cat like manner - her sobbing was a thick deep purr as if to say thank you for giving me a home - she settled into the home routine a lot sooner than expected and it's like she has been with me from a young age. Ruby will be with me for the term of her natural life.
@@Brissieskater1 Persona hermosa!!! GRACIAS !!!!! 🥰
I adopted an older kitty cat years back that was the same situation as this one. Her name was Charlie & I felt so bad for her sitting way in the back by the litter box with 2 other cats younger cats. She was shy & scared so I took her immediately. BEST CAT we ever had and we had another 5-6 yrs with her. So happy Beanie got a home! 🐾🩷
Senior cats have so much to give.
I couldn’t ignore those eyes and sweet meow either. ❤
Oh, so beyond sweet.
She deserves 2 birthdays 🥰😍👍
She really does! And a coming home anniversary 🥳
May. Beanie live long and prosper. Thank you for giving him the chance.

Poor baby was grieving the loss of her owner and long term home.
Thank you for rescuing her and loving her❤ Cat’s act like kitten’s forever😂
I have a 23 y/o pure black cat named, Handsome. He sleeps on my face at night for an hour, then wants to go outside to hunt the rest of the night. He's a very good ratter! He's still sharp as a tack!
Thank you for seeing her, giving her a home and loving her.
Same thing happened to my Athena. 12yrs old and at a rescue. Saw her picture and adopted her a few days later. She was there for 6 months without anyone wanting her. We've been together for 1 1/2yrs now and so happy we found each other
What a sweet cat. I adopted a senior cat and although she only lived two months, I know I gave her the best two months. I miss her terribly❤. RIP Pokie🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Pokie had a taste of heaven living with you. Bless you both.
What a beautiful little baby! So glad you chose to adopt and older cat, they all deserve a chance.
Awwww, such a sweet old girl. How wonderful you two found each other! Both of you filled with love & caring for each other. Another happy ending. TY for sharing your story with us. ❤🐱❤️☺️
What a joy. I would love her too❤❤❤. Thank you for making her day’s wonderful.💙♥️💜
I am so happy that you helped her have a good life. You are an angel. You did the BLESSED thing. God bless you both.
I love how Beanie struggles to jump up on the couch, but her mom finds her on the countertop stealing butter. 😻 She’s beautiful, and her squeaky meows are so sweet. Beanie is the best part of today ❤
I'm so happy to see Beanie adopted. "Orphaned" senior cats are forever passed over for kittens or young cats.
God bless this beautiful woman for taking Beanie and loving her.
How wonderful of you to adopt an "old" cat. She is a beauty and so affectionate. I am happy that she brings so much to you and really supports you. To me, this is a case of who rescued who? Her unwavering love is something to be treasured.
She has so much to say to you, and seems to understand what you say to her, each little meow answer is absolutely precious. Thank you for being the kind person you are.😻💜
@The2000kittykat Absolut!!!!!! Ganz sicher!!!!! 😊🥰
How wonderful it would be to live close...and what fun if "mom" were willing to let visitors visit this wonderful cat
Omgee, this one really pulled at my ❤ strings. Senior animals seem to always be pasted by, they really don't know what they are missing out on. A big 👍 up to the gorgeous hooomans who take the seniors 🏡. Thank you xx❤❤❤❤❤

The fact you copy pasted this comment makes you a terrible person, that cat was never yours. Stop fishing for likes on something that was never yours to begin with! May karma f*ck you over
Didn't expect to cry this morning, but here we are.
What wonderful people you are for taking in Beans and allowing her to live out her best life.
Also that she is doing her bit to help you in return.
She steals butter on the counter? ! 😂😀🤗
Yeah, she scared us by knocking over a glass butter dish in the middle of the night after we had it out for close to a year of her living with us! Now we hide all butter and definitely no glass 🤣
@@momo_drum1172 LOL that is so adorable 😛 I know it's probably not as funny when you're the one losing your items but it's just cute lol
@@nottoday3666nah it’s still so cute we just didn’t want her to get hurt which she didn’t. Also wish it wasn’t at like 3am but def makes it funnier 🤣
@@momo_drum1172 LOL Yes definitely!! Thank you for giving her a loving home, you're a blessing! 🩷
I love that this woman appreciated the senior Kitty. I've raised many cats to the end of their days and they definitely get better with age. Today is one of my cats nineteenth birthday. Her brother passed away last year and we miss him dearly. God bless those who love and care.
She’s not that old. Cats can live until they’re in their 20's!!! ❤
Yes true my aunts cat lived till he was 21. If you take good care of them and keep them healthy they might surprise you and stick around for a while.
I thank all who took part (including vets) who took part in this rescue of this nice older cat. She will be very loving, probably a very good lap cat, and will give in return lots of love. Thank you for adopting this wonderful cat.
Same here! She is indeed very cuddly. It took her a while but now she’ll crawl into our laps or lay on our chest in bed 😭❤️
precious baby, thank you for giving this little lady a home
Senior cats and dogs still have lots of love to give. Thank you for adopting this precious baby
She was grieving poor thing. Thanks for saving her. She's a cute one.
A Tabby is always your best friend 😸😚
Everyone wants to be needed (and kneaded) so I'm glad you two found each other. May you have several more happy years together.
What a joy for you both.!❤ Blessings to you for rescuing this senior girl kitty & giving her love, & a quality life in her last years❤❤
From what I’ve heard about cat life spans, if they’re well cared for that is, 14 is old but not senior level old. I’ve seen a lot of 22-23 year old cats.
I love senior cats!!! They're soooo cuddly and sweet 😭
She is beautiful and I am so glad she found a great home.
I've adopted Senior kitties before, and They're so sweet!. My Oacar was the best!! He had a great life filled with love.💛I still miss him💛
well done!!! 🥰😍😘
❤❤❤❤ she so cuuute and funny. Long live Lady Beans!
I wish there were many more people doing this, thanks for giving sweet Bean a loving home in her later years, it's wonderful 💖💖
She's a BEAUTY - definitely senior cats are calmer & more loving. We gravitate towards senior cats - compatibility in temperaments.
Precious angel! God Bless you for taking her in and giving her the best home ever! I have a 16 year old cat, and he is my baby. I treasure every moment we have together!🙏❤️🐈
Her eyes are divine. What a precious kitty.
So friggin' great to see a senior cat rehomed and thriving, thanks to that fabulous woman 👏💖🌟
Beans hit the jackpot as did her family. Wonderful, wonderful. Wishing Beans and her fam many, many more happy years together! 💞💞
Awwww, she's SO CUTE!
Look at those eyes!!! 😍 And her "oaw!" and whispered "yaow"s make me melt. Thank u for giving her the opportunity her previous owner would have wanted and thank u for sharing Beanies story w us ❤🕊️
Thank you so much for giving her the wonderful home she deserves!!!❤❤❤❤
I love a good silent meow/purr! 14 isn't that old, I've had a cat who was 21 when he passed and another one at 18. Beanie has lots of life in her yet! Thanks for sharing the love..💕🐾
such a sweet old lady
Beanie is an absolute dear. Thank you for your compassion and love for her. There is a book by the late actor Charles Laughton called 'Every Cat Goes To Heaven.' Every cat can also bring us some heaven, if we love them back.
This just makes me feel so much 🥲. Thank you for taking care of her! ❤
Awww. Thanks for sharing this cute little kitten! Make sure to give her a lot of kisses!
Beautiful and thank you❤
Awwww, poor old lady. Thank you for loving her and being kind. God bless you and yours. Stay safe.
You are so awesome for giving this sweet angel a home and loving her unconditionally. Her meow is so sweet. Amazing cat, love her ❤❤❤❤❤
How can someone just walk by and say no to this fluffy cuddly kitty?
Oh that sweet little baby! I’m so happy you took her home to love!❤
This world needs more compassionate and caring people like you. You are an angel in human form to take on the responsibilities of a senior animal to extend their quality of life. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
I absolutely love the senior cats !! Amazing to see their purrsonality come out after adjusting to their environment. Senior cats bring special surprises when we give them a chance❤❤❤
Such a sweet, beautiful girl, love her little meows. You are helping each other, so perfect. I imagine her previous owner would have been so happy knowing that she is with such a loving couple ❤️
Bless both of you❤
Having had my dear cat destiny for almost 21 years I sympathize with having an older cat. One thing that I can suggest if she’s having joint problems is get a couple of heating pads and also if she can it helped my cat to give same amounts of RX to help with the joint pain and giving wet food that has some extra water mixed in. Love her she is so sweet.
I love Beanie’s words! She’s one nice big girl! And it’s so great that she helps you, as you help her. 💙💙💙
I love chatty cats...sometimes i really rack my brains wondering what they might say.
Thank You to ALL HEROS & ANIMAL ANGELS EVERYWHERE. ❤🇱🇷🌍🌠
Thank you so much for rescuing sweet Beans and giving her such a loving home. She is so lucky to have you. And, she is your earth angel. You were meant to be! 😊🙏💖
14 isn’t even that old for a kitty. Bless you for taking her home and making her part of your family.
You two look so alike, like siblings lol. Thank you for your kindness and love to Beanie! Keep fighting for her!❤❤❤
Bless you for giving this kitty a loving home. May the universe return your kindness and million fold!❤️
She’s adorable, thank you!❤️🙏
🤧 aww she's super gorgeous, bless you for saving her and giving her a terrific forever home, and I love how she chats to you. Cracking good video thanks for sharing 🖤😎👍
It was december. I met a girl that just found a cat in the snow, very hungry and slim, purring, searching for help and affection. The girl couldn't take her, so I took her to the vet and of course called the local shelter and police station, asking if anyone missed her. No one did, so I kept her.
The vet told me, she was at least 15 years old (I had her checked very thoroughly). She needed heart medication and other medical treatments. She lived 7 years with me till she passed away. Very often, she just lay on my lap, purring. Brings me to tears writing and remembering...

What a sweet old lady! Senior animals are the best! God bless you guys!🙏❤️
What a sweet chonky old lady, her eyes are beautiful. Wishing you many happy years together!
What a sweet little old lady! I'm so glad she found another loving home after her previous owner passed away.
Just so you know when a cat lifts a paw and shows belly they believe it to be a command to their human & to stop rubbing requires another command even if she/he is asleep.
She is so sweet ❤❤❤
You’re a hero for adopting a 14 yo kitty. The hardest part is losing an animal you’ve come to love. This makes you a hero. I wish you many more beautiful years together. ❤❤
❤❤❤❤ BRAVISSIMO
God bless you for adopting her. I have adoptioned elderly animal before. They are a 😊 joy!
She's beautiful. Thank you for sharing this lovely story.
We also adopted a senior cat and we had him for two years and he passed away because of kidney failure. We gave Monty two extra years in a home full of love. He did not pass away in the shelter. That is the greatest gift you can give to them. Thank you for adopting this beautiful animal and loving her in her senior years 💕
Thanks for helping this old lady and not expecting her to “perform”immediately. Giving her space is so needed
OMG...I love her name, and her Meows! What a beauty ❤😊
She's adorable. Thank you for giving this sweet senior cat a furever home for however long she has left. My kitty lived to be 19 so she could have many more years depending on how old she is & you are taking such could care of her (she of you too 🙂) that she may have several years left.
Senior cats are worth the effort 😻 They are loving, gentle, particular, sometimes traumatized, and always _FUNNY_ !
Once adopted 14 year old cat, long neglected by her owner and turned in to shelter. At first shy and scared, but soon realized she was safe and loved. We had 5 wonderful years together until her health necessitated a tough decision. Still miss her every day. Senior cats are some of your best friends 💓
