I'm SO glad these guys were saved. As a certified euthanasia tech....euthanasing an animal via the heart on a concious animal is one of the biggest things you're taught NOT to do. It's horrificly painful and should only be done when an animal has been confirmed to be COMPLETELY unconscious with no pain responses.
A pathetic existence for these dogs that should be living in loving homes, not merely existing in a concrete cage enduring absolute torture.

I cried while watching this. I have a young beagle mix. Yes, they are very vocal. Their voices ring out when they are excited happy, when they are lonely, and yes if they are terrified of something. This video had dogs in agony and terror. This begs the question about the sanity of those who wake up every day and commit such atrocities. Monsters do monstrous things.
Beagles are naturally dogs that are very high-spirited, attention seeking dogs. So not only are these animals suffering physical damage but also psychological trauma of needing tenderness and affection. These workers are losing more of their humanity every day they check in to this pit of misery. I'm just saying, there are certain individuals that start off torturing helpless animals and then what or who is next?
Once they shut this place down, yes, help these dogs as much as possible; but also get these individuals (like the one pushing the needle through a screaming little puppy's head) into mandatory therapy.

Imagine if I was the rescuer I would unlock all the cages so they can run free
i work at an animal shelter that receives some of the dogs when they get out of that horrible place. we have received only about 20 of the supposed 500 that were adopted. when the dogs come, they are TERRIFIED because all they know is that people are cruel. it takes the dogs weeks to somewhat adjust to being properly cared for and it’s heartbreaking knowing that these innocent dogs have been through that. FUCK ENVIGO

The same people shouting that they think conditions like this are monstrous and inhumane are likely the same ones who agree with prison systems and the inhumane conditions prisoners are subjected to, but think that gets a pass due to the inmates “deserving” to be in there ignoring many messed up factors that contribute to the prison population.
