I just love the idea of an all weather capsule, so happy to finally see your vision come to life 💛 I try to find cropped sweaters when I can, since I’m short, it helps keep that “thirds” proportion in check and shows off more of the dress, which of course I love!
Thank you so much!! Yes, I love the look of a cropped sweater!😍
You've got to try Merino wool leggings! So much cozier then cotton and you can go longer between washes.
My favorite is the lambs wool sweater with the blue linen dress, great look, love the pattern! It suits you well. Nice inspiration for an all season capsule. I’m in place with pretty drastic summer/winter differences, but I think it’s still very doable with layering. I haven’t embraced the dress as much but I think it’s such a great capsule piece!
Love this Ellie, you are very inspiring to keep your wardrobe so simple. I love natural fibers as well. Congratulations on your new home.❤
I just bought almost that exact Gap denim jacket last month, and I can’t stop wearing it. My last one lasted ten years (until my dog chewed off a sleeve.)
I really want a vintage Bean or J Crew wool duffle/toggle coat, maybe with a flannel lining. I just think they’re so adorable, and I’m really into kind of an English country vibe for fall.
Oh how cool! I’m loving it! And that sounds like such a chic look!
I love big toggle buttons on a coat! I had a blue and green swatch plaid coat with toggle buttons when I was a kid. Wish I could find one like it now. Living in South Texas I find that we can get by with a heavier classic barn coat or a shirt jacket in the winter.
I want to do something like this in the winter because I live in south Texas and winter is really short and mild
Love how cute & minimal this is!
Thank you!!
WOW!! Great video and you look beautiful in your winter wardrobe!
You’re so sweet! Thank you!🩷☺️
That cream Gap knit sweater is PERFECTION!! So pretty. I have that same Gap denim jacket, it’s an absolute staple for a simple wardrobe. As for boots, I wear my Blundstone boots (they’re in a saddle brown colour) all fall and winter. They’re pricey but quality- I’ve had mine now for 6 years! I still remember your fall capsule wardrobe from years ago when you were in military housing 🥰
I love it. One of the best I've seen. I've been wearing skirts and dresses only for about 10 years. This year, I decided to do dresses only, and I'm loving it.
Thank you!! I love that! Dresses are my favorite!😍
Love it! Very nice, simple capsule that’s a workhorse for all climates. Thank you!!😊
Yes! Thank you!🩷☺️
Love the cream sweater with the rust dress! So pretty.
Thank you!!
Love the look Eli.
Thank you!☺️
Very cute sweaters! You'll be very cozy this winter!
Thank you! Yes, I hope so!
This is really similar to my fall/winter wardrobe the last 2 years and it’s worked really really well for me! I have a basic brown leather belt that fits my waist and I wear it to be able to tuck my sweater up into it and have that slight tucked in look with dresses - if that makes sense?!
This is my favorite kind of video. ❤😊
I'm so glad!
I love your content! Are you still using a flip phone? Would love to hear your thoughts after a few years of using it. ☺
I love your style! Where is that green wool sweater from?
Thank you! It’s from Poshmark but the brand is Lauren Ralph Lauren
Is the patreon videos? I am thinking of doing it.
Yes!!
@@thefruitofherhome oh good deal. I am hoping to join soon.
Where do you get your cotton tights ?
They are from Amazon. I linked them in the description box☺️
I’m just curious how cold it get in your neck of the woods? We live in South Dakota. It can be 100 in the summer and -50 and really windy and bitter cold. There is no way, natural fibers or not, that I could wear what I can in the summer in the winter.
We are in the Oklahoma area. Summers are hot and winters are cold! Linen is actually the most breathable fiber for summer☺️ and I love layering it to make it warmer for the colder months.
@@thefruitofherhome the problem is that “cold” in one area is NOT the same as “cold” in another. We moved here from Washington State where I thought I understood cold. Negative 50 is a completely different ballgame that the 30 degrees I was used use to. Here wool in some form is best for winter and linen for summer.
