Man and I thought I was the only one burned out on youtube. I feel like I have watched so much youtube that I’ve seen most stuff(which I haven’t obviously). However, its all so repetitive now.
Actually, this is true, especially if you're on barby duty, and have to run in the house for the salt or the tongs you forgot. Between the stubbie holder you know you had, and the brand of beer you're drinking, you're fine. A lot of back yard barbies I've been to, there are generally a few double ups, what with merch from my band, and hotrod runs we all went on together. As I was usually the only one with a Coopers in a Dogsday holder, I knew which one it was. These days I'm using a Vice Grip Garage one which is a 'coozie' because it's American. Sorry Derek, it's not as good as an Ozzie one.
A coozie is an accessory for alcoholics, just like Zippo's for smokers or lava lamps for stoners. It's there so you can show off as you slowly and comfortably descend into liver failure. As a professional alcoholic though, I think if your beer gets warm while you're drinking it, you just aren't drinking fast enough. I go for function over form.
Beard, your videos are just fun to watch, I have no idea how to explain it. Your personality. The way you put videos together. Amazing man. I'm glad TH-cam suggested your channel. Keep it up!
I just wanted to say thank you for giving me hours of entertainment as I go through a difficult time. I’m now faced with the grim reality that I will have to be on a feeding tube and that scares the living sh@% out of me. But I have found that watching some of your videos actually make me feel hungry so I thank you so very much for that!! If you’re every back in Connecticut in the States I’d love to watch you live! And what a thrill it would be if Mrs Beard could be there too!! Sincerely Grateful, Meaghan from CT
I just had my gallbladder out Thursday and I’ve been binge watching your videos. 🤣 I’m living vicariously through you until I can eat something I enjoy again! ❤
I was just tucking into a meal when I saw Beard had a video out. Watched and then proceeded to eat like Beard for the remainder of my meal. My wife no longer questions it. Questions marrying me? Yes.
Hey that’s my friends and I! Super amazing to witness something like this in our town!! You’ve definitely gained some new subscribers from southern Indiana!
As someone from rural America, it never crossed my mind someone might not be familiar with the concept of a beer coozie. My father had about 2 dozen of em just hanging around the garage and house while I was growing up. All their camping/fourwheeling/hunting/poker friends had one around their beer every time I saw them.
It makes some sense in the heat of a US summer and with their demand for ice-cold everything, I guess. But even so, if you need a beer coozie to keep your beer cool once its open, you ain't drinking it fast enough!
I never doubted your ability to finish this challenge. I’ve seen you eat way more than that well below the time limit given, and you finished it quicker than the 17 minute mark that I had guessed it would take you. Well done.
Im surprised he has got diabetes from this or not gain any weight. Bit suss if you ask me, cause anyone in real life that eats this much in front of friends would say OMG seriously you cant eat all that or they will say you will die from eating all that.
I'm on a very strict healthy meal plan diet right now to try and accomplish some fitness goals. The food is bland and not very appetizing sometimes so I always watch these videos while I eat them and pretend to eat whatever he eats. Makes it so much more enjoyable haha
@@dogemasterofmemesthethird6805 Well, I mean, obviously if you eat plutonium a lot, you need to balance that out with some Rhodium.. no amount of exercise is going to get those Plutonium pounds off easily.
It's interesting to see what some folk consider a challenge. For those of us that follow this channel it was obvious that this was more of a snack than a "challenge" for our man Adam! Well done mate. P.S. Stubby holders/coolers, aka "coozy/coozie" in 'Murica, are a standard issue at any Aussie BBQ amd most folk Downunder do not attend any event where might be served beer in a can or stubby without one of their own.
As a Hoosier (someone who lives in Indiana) I would like to say thank you for showcasing our state on your channel. It's, frankly, more than most of the rest of the US does. Lol.
I know you hear this a lot, but you are totally amazing. I like how these place give time limits and you finish in about, if not less, then half the time. Wish a place around where I live had a food challenge just so I might have the chance to "meat" you. Keep it up and keep making people smile.
For European viewers a cozy does help keep your hand warm but the main reason is to keep your drink cold. With you holding a can in your hand on a hot summer day in parts of America where it hits 110F or 43C a cozy can be a life saver. Especially when you take it out of the cozy to run it across your forehead. Especially true if you're in a humid area. There's more than one reason that IPA's tend to be drunk in colder places in America and light beers tend to be drunk in warmer places. Which oddly is the exact opposite of why IPA's were originally made.
The first phase of watching beard is appreciating his humor and the food. The second phase is realizing how clean he manages to keep his beard while doing these challenges.
As someone with a big bushy beard that is just a little longer than Beard's, this was the absolute first thing I noticed. Every video I watch I am just flabbergasted at how well he manages to keep it clean. I can't do it like he does to save my life.
The cozie is like a jacket for your beer but to actually keep it cold from your hand heating it up. It also insulates it from the outside warmer air so your beer stays cold Ionger. One of the great inventions for beer..
Only if you're slowly supping beer and intend on holding it a lot or in a particularly warm environment. Nearly a useless invention for us Brits though haha
@@IrishRogue8885 Because Americans are hell bent on everything being ice cold when most stuff needs to be chilled (especially beers). Also humidity in England is like no other.

I know. I looked at it and said to myself "That's it?" Usually he has huge massive mountains sitting in front of him. This one actually did not look that bad.
The coozie mainly helps to keep your drink cold while your drinking it. I've never heard of it keeping your hands from getting cold. I'm from Indiana and that is what we have used them for. I was born and raised here but I'm from the northern part. You should come up here.
Does the weather get cold in Indiana? Holding a beer in cold weather does in fact make your hands cold. Understandable if you don't have cold winters but you could have thought about it a bit...
Never heard of a Coozie either but in Australia we call them a "stubby holder" - actually designed help keep your drink cold (insulation for the chill) not really about keeping your hands warm hahaha
When Beard puts a quote in a title from a menu with crazy instructions you know he's about to DO HIS THING! EDIT: If Beard thinks a koosie is pointless, he needs to go on an all-day float trip ASAP!
I agree, koosies are pointless. I haven't watched the video yet, though I have never used a koosie yet, either. I have a couple kicking around, companies give them away for free, which is their worth. If your drink gets too warm before you can finish drinking it, you're drinking it too slow.
I watched a video. Then I watched another. Then a few more. And then I thought, I need to subscribe since I am enjoying these way too much. So I did. Thanks for the entertainment.
You should start rating all the places you go to from maybe 1 thru 5 of the difficulty of finishing the challenge for an average Joe like most of us and post it on the screen at the end. Love watching your content man. Always makes me hungry 😂
@@LastbutNotFirst nah he will be alright. he is a ex professional eating competer. those guys eat differently then we do. sometimes he mentions that he didnt eat for over 24 hours to do the challenge. he also works out and i'm 100% sure he does medical checks reguraly. if he truly only ate and nothing else you definitly could call him an uber fatso after all the years lol
Watching your videos has taught me one thing... how to clean my beard properly. Your technique is great iv used it when I'm having a messy burger and my breard has come out sparkling clean 😋
That’s actually funny, I always thought of a beer Koozie to be used to inhibit the heat transfer from hand to beer, therefore keeping your beer colder for longer😎
We Aussies have something similar, we call it a stubble cooler (stubble being slang for a beer bottle). Trust me, if you are in a warm climate with a cold drink, a.few things can happen. Your hand gets uncomfortably cold, the drink gets warm quite quickly, and the bottle or can can get slippery because of condensation. This nifty invention prevents all of the above.
An interesting concept would be to order 2 challenges and surprise set up a random family who has yet to order. It would put the feat into context for us.

I just binge watched half your channel and I’ve gotta say, kudos for keeping the beard so clean and tidy! It’s almost as big an accomplishment as winning the challenge, if you ask me.
He's not here by himself, he's got all of us along on this beardy ride of his
Yea def sad seeing the independently owned restaurants empty.❤❤❤
always :)
The “really I didn’t know” had me dieing laughing 😂😂
proceed to drink another sip of water had me ded 😅
I think this is actually one of the food challenges I could maybe finish, mostly because I love pulled pork and fries so mentally it would be easier to push through than some other foods.
On an empty stomach I could probably do some of the others and when they brought out the food I was like “is that it?”
also 1 hour seems reasonable
oh yeah epsecially with one hour I'd easily down this after smoking a blunt
It sounds more like a friendly challenge. I like the vibe even though I would never do a food challenge myself
yea same, this challenge seems pretty doable with the amount of food and time given, if I hadnt eaten the whole day I could definitely do this, maybe with not as much time to spare though...
I never leave comments, but my girlfriend and I have been entertained and amazed by your eating skills. Do you have 3 stomachs? You're always a proper gentleman, genuine, hilarious, and have an epic beard. I share your videos regularly. Keep up the great content Mr. Beard! I love your channel!
This is gonna sound stupid buts it’s genuine. I’ve really been burnt out on TH-cam lately. But I really do look forward to your videos every Sunday even if I don’t see them til Monday. All the best Adam, thanks for the fun.
Man and I thought I was the only one burned out on youtube. I feel like I have watched so much youtube that I’ve seen most stuff(which I haven’t obviously). However, its all so repetitive now.
I think its quite common as I get bored too and unsubscribed to at least 4 channels I used to watch religiously, all food related.
5:38.. "Don't drink water it will fill you up faster"... 🤣 sure, I had no idea *drinks a sip of water*
The real purpose of a coozie: knowing which beer is yours when you walk away for a bit.
Real point of a coozie is the ability to drink alcohol at the beach and not be hassled
also to help keep our beer cold because for whatever reason Americans dont like warm beer.
@@MatthewFiereck Unless it’s coffee or hot chocolate, I hate all drinks that aren’t real cold 😅
Keep it up!
i always love how he scoops up the table bits like hes still hungry
what do you mean 'like' I'm still hungry hahaha
He is still hungry, why else would he have dessert afterwards.
@@Beardmeatsfood hahaha I mean in all of your videos you do it. Keep up the great work!
I just wanted to say thank you for giving me hours of entertainment as I go through a difficult time. I suffer from a rare disease known as Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome and have difficulty eating and keeping food down. Having suffered with this my whole life I’ve developed a fear of eating and have several other health issues now. I’m currently 5’2” and weigh 83lbs and have been trying desperately to gain weight for months which is how I found your channel.
Thanks so much for your words of support, I appreciate it so very much! It really helps to know I’m not alone on this scary journey❤
Beard one of the most likable competitive eater and person in general.
Looks more like an appetizer than a food challenge for Mr. Beard 😂❤🎉
Hahahaha, that smirk when the advice was flowing from the table behind you. Nicely done beard!
Beard, your content is on point this year, not that it’s ever been bad! Keep up the great work. Stay safe in the states mate! 😊
thanks very much steve, means a lot :)
Still glad after 8 years of this you still continue to amaze us. Thank you for the great content.
I love seeing these places with the really nice staff. That warms my heart so much 💓 ive loved going through your videos. Im gonna watch everything 😌
I just had my gallbladder out Thursday and I’ve been binge watching your videos. 🤣 I’m living vicariously through you until I can eat something I enjoy again! ❤
if the bathroom issues don't ease up look into Welchol, i suffered for 4 years before i spoke up to my doctor.
I was just tucking into a meal when I saw Beard had a video out. Watched and then proceeded to eat like Beard for the remainder of my meal. My wife no longer questions it.
Questions marrying me? Yes.
I'd marry you.
I like how gentle you handle the people around you ♥️
Hey that’s my friends and I! Super amazing to witness something like this in our town!! You’ve definitely gained some new subscribers from southern Indiana!
May i get your Instagram 😁🌹
@@Cowboi_obrother you are in the 9th circle of hell, but it is not too late to start climbing up.
You were annoying. Let the professional do his thing.
@@thanksdad9514 shut up 👍
As someone from rural America, it never crossed my mind someone might not be familiar with the concept of a beer coozie.
I never owned one. My beer never got a chance to get warm
They're very popular in Australia too although I can't remember what they're called there.
@@sihollett lol we use them while ice fishing cause your hands are already cold enough. Not the entire US is warm all the time :)
i'm learning
Lovely people with a big round of applause...they were genuinely happy that you won! 😃👍
Thank you for calling that flicker. Saves me a bigger headache that I wouldn't have noticed. Dropping a like for saving me the headache.
I never doubted your ability to finish this challenge. I’ve seen you eat way more than that well below the time limit given, and you finished it quicker than the 17 minute mark that I had guessed it would take you. Well done.
thanks mate :)
The fact he covers the food in extra calorie loaded extra sugary sauce makes this guy a legend.
Im surprised he has got diabetes from this or not gain any weight. Bit suss if you ask me, cause anyone in real life that eats this much in front of friends would say OMG seriously you cant eat all that or they will say you will die from eating all that.
@@DanielKing-dk5nr bit sus, in what way??
I'm on a very strict healthy meal plan diet right now to try and accomplish some fitness goals. The food is bland and not very appetizing sometimes so I always watch these videos while I eat them and pretend to eat whatever he eats. Makes it so much more enjoyable haha
keep that discipline! you’re doing good brother
u can literally eat whatever u want. just balance it w proper exercise.
Having abs will never make up for the food restrictions you have to impose on yourself
@@r3mxd not how it really works mate
@@dogemasterofmemesthethird6805 Well, I mean, obviously if you eat plutonium a lot, you need to balance that out with some Rhodium.. no amount of exercise is going to get those Plutonium pounds off easily.
this guy actually does the restaurants a favor with all the exposure he gives them
Potatoes with potatoes and potatoes. Exactly what you love in a challenge…
Only thing missing was a big ol' heapin' helpin' of MUSHROOMS!😄
Irish mixed grill.
Brits prefer to mix their carbs when they double them up rather than have different types of the same carb. Still, we love an overly-carbed meal.
The acting was top tier. Lmao. They were so sweet not realizing you are a pro.
Lol.
Cause it's a shit hole
Adam really flys under the radar. He’s an fit looking dude so no one expects him tomcrush lbs of food
1 million views in less than 24 hours. Respect, Mr Beard.
i'm a very fortunate man :)
@@Beardmeatsfood you're very talented too 🎉
I know you hear this a lot, but you are totally amazing. I like how these place give time limits and you finish in about, if not less, then half the time. Wish a place around where I live had a food challenge just so I might have the chance to "meat" you. Keep it up and keep making people smile.
thanks mate :)
The camera angle you always set is too great, we can easily see you eating from every angle 😍
I always love seeing the look of defeat on the people who doubt Beardy!
Always a great watch. And always so enjoyable watching the banter with the other customers 👌
thanks mate :)
REALLY HOW DID HE MAKE IT UP IN HIS OWN HEAD THAT IT KEEPS UR HANDS WARM AND JUST RUN WITH THAT GOOD LORD
Only if you're slowly supping beer and intend on holding it a lot or in a particularly warm environment. Nearly a useless invention for us Brits though haha
@@sillysalmon784
The humidity in Indiana in the summer is a game changer. You Brits like your beer a touch warmer than we do. Cheers!
@@IrishRogue8885 Because Americans are hell bent on everything being ice cold when most stuff needs to be chilled (especially beers).
Also humidity in England is like no other.
@@sillysalmon784 Ice cold beer is the way to go, especially on a hot muggy day. And I’ve lived in England, the US, and the Middle East. It’s like the others, trust me.
He could have done this challenge twice - back to back and invented a whole new challenge.
He'd need to disguise himself with a fake beard over his beard so he could do it twice
They didn't have a clue who was walking through their door to take this challenge down! Beardy boy back at it smashing his way through the U.S of A! You made this challenge look like child's play, great video as always! that pulled pork looked amazing! Well done Adam awesome stuff :)

They definitely didn't have a clue, this town's nickname is Meth Vernon lol
i love how you enjoying food not just rushing to break a record or anything. love your content.
I used to watch Man vs Food on travel channel I forgot how much I like watching people take on these food challenges. I like that he’s doing some smaller restaurants in small towns too. Subbed!!
cheers mush
The lady saying "WHAT" when you said you were ready for the dessert menu absolutely sent me HAHA
Sent you where ?
He finished one challenge plus desert and he’s on the way to the next, what a beast man… I almost cried 😭, I’m watching these videos from the Macho Nacho challenge, that’s 8 years man, let’s goooo🎉
haha don't go that far back...the old ones were shot on a potato haha
I love how Adam downplays his abilities. It adds to the drama watching to see if he'll finish it.
When they brought that plate out, I was thinking: "For Beard, this is amateur hour."
I know. I looked at it and said to myself "That's it?" Usually he has huge massive mountains sitting in front of him. This one actually did not look that bad.
Same. I think I could actually eat that one
I checked the time on the video once I saw the plate.
always the way...people never really realise how much food it actually is lol
@@Beardmeatsfood it was a lot but seemed like a smaller serving than your average contest.
what has been your favorite food stop so far?
The coozie mainly helps to keep your drink cold while your drinking it. I've never heard of it keeping your hands from getting cold. I'm from Indiana and that is what we have used them for. I was born and raised here but I'm from the northern part. You should come up here.
My beer never lasts long enough to make my hands cold.
This - it's an insulator to keep the drink cold
@@Slattery777 never lasts long enough to start to warm up lol
It both keeps the drink cold and keeps your hands from getting as cold..
Never used them to keep my hands warm. Never used them to keep my beer cold either. Use them all the time to disguise my beer.
@@chrisinsl184 people can still tell my guy lmao
I really wanna see adam and his other food challenge buddies go to a buffet and clean them out
or to go to a running sushi restaurant and sit on the first table where the food comes out xD No one gets any food then haha
I love how you always give em the piss when they give advice.
This guy has to be one of the hardest working youtubers out there.
He works hard for sure. As for which TH-camr puts the most amount of work into each vid? I would respectfully nominate Project Farm
not sure how much hard work is required when he just travels and eats😂😂
@@DamplyDoo i would nominate Matt Armstrong
@@LastbutNotFirst nah he will be alright. he is a ex professional eating competer. those guys eat differently then we do. sometimes he mentions that he didnt eat for over 24 hours to do the challenge. he also works out and i'm 100% sure he does medical checks reguraly. if he truly only ate and nothing else you definitly could call him an uber fatso after all the years lol
Watching your videos has taught me one thing... how to clean my beard properly. Your technique is great iv used it when I'm having a messy burger and my breard has come out sparkling clean 😋
haha happy to help mate
"Pretty sure I'd cause more pain with a guitar" 🤣🤣 please don't change your humor
I always love the look on their face when he asks for dessert.
Also, a cold wet beer could slip out of your hands. So a koozy is a comfy feeling for your hand and beer.
Maybe if you're still in diapers... We teach our kids how to hang on to their beers around here. 😆
Loved the girls reaction behind you when u asked for the dessert menu 😂
That’s actually funny, I always thought of a beer Koozie to be used to inhibit the heat transfer from hand to beer, therefore keeping your beer colder for longer😎
It also reflects the coolness of the beverage back into itself. It's all to keep it cooler longer.
On the other hand, if you drink so slowly that your beer gets warm by the time you finish it, then you are doing smth wrong anyways :D
@@Raichiyu not in Arizona
We Aussies have something similar, we call it a stubble cooler (stubble being slang for a beer bottle).
Trust me, if you are in a warm climate with a cold drink, a.few things can happen. Your hand gets uncomfortably cold, the drink gets warm quite quickly, and the bottle or can can get slippery because of condensation. This nifty invention prevents all of the above.
@@lilymarinovic1644stubby holder you fool!
