Hi, from what I've picked up watching 100s of his videos. He fasts for the 24 hours before hand, does the challenges late morning and then recovery is about 3 days. When not a challenge day he eats about 800 cals per day, to maintain his target weekly cal intake overall. Hope this helps

Gut gemacht, Adam. 😋
From a German, who also speaks some Swiss: The name "Schwätzer`s" is actually NOT pronounced "sh-wait-zers" it is "Sch-wet-zers" and literally means "chatterbox`s". LOL.

@@TrueFilter A good schnitzel can have some good moisture. It’s probably the biggest seller at Wolfgang Puck’s restaurant, in spite of his obsession with crappy California style pizza. Puck should’ve stuck with Austrian cuisine and never got into this California crap.
Well done Adam, that schnitzel was awfully thick and I've never even heard of it made out of chicken, only veal...I'm so looking forward to you traveling more this year&the amazing challenges I know you will crush..love and prayers✌🏻🧡🙏🏻
Hähnchenschnitzel (chicken schnitzel) is pretty popular were I'm from. a real Wiener Schnitzel has to be veal, but Schnitzel Wiener Art can be pork or even chicken.
This is a question I've always had on my mind about your challenges, at least the ones where you get them free if you finish them or whatever, do you tip the staff during those challenges? Just curious
It looks absolutely delicious! 😋 I'm wondering about the cup, as it seems to have the Barcelos Rooster on it, which is a Portuguese symbol based on a legend. Interesting to see it in a German restaurant haha
This one was funny man. The people are like blown away at how fast he ate it. 😂. All of us who watch him all the time are like oh he has this no problem.
As a german, dont have a clue too... is it like "bierwurst"? (beer-sausage) which gets its name just because people have eaten it (this sausage) while drinking beer? Like Whine + Cheese which fit together cause everyone knows that? or is there really a component of the sauce being beer? cant imagine that being the case - but .. its America, so :D
Und Ich habe keine Idee warum man paniertes Hühnchen Schnitzel nennen darf. Siehe minute 4:30 "Breaded chicken". Disgusting. Dont call it Schnitzel american Nichtsnutz!
Hey Beard. Another great video. I heard you refer to this as breaded chicken? Surely you must have meant breaded pork cutlets? Either that or the Germans in Indiana are very misguided. The other bullet that you dodged is that Jagerschnitzel is the name for breaded pork cutlets with Mushroom Gravy, your fav LOL. Maybe there were mushrooms in the gravy but it didn't look like it.
Sitting here with some blocked ribcage muscles after a 260 km bicycle tour in Germany, I bow to you! It was as remotely delicious to me as it was fast to you. Want some self-made Schnitzel now, but it's Sunday. :D
New to your channel.. Been binge watching your stuff for the past week.. Would love to see you do a favorite chicken binge in the UK.. Had people over from America that reckon its better than popeyes (I prefer favorite over KFC)
I've always wanted you to do a challenge in Germany, but I guess this will have to suffice! Also I hit like on 666 likes. Curry ketchup is a total staple of a German fridge! But I do have a criticism of the schnitzel, it should have been A LOT thinner than that and been made of veal! Still great work Beard!!
as an austrian i feel insulted that they made the schnitzel with sauce on it... it may be the german version but oh man its a sacrileg here... but great job doing that challenge in under 9 minutes! not sure there are many schnitzel maniacs here that would be able to do it that fast!
In Baden-Württemberg (state in southern Germany) we swabians eat Schnitzel with sauce (brown, gravy) and fries all the time, but it is not so common in other parts of Germany as far as I know. What might insult you as Austrian more: I guess he got chicken or turkey… it’s not even a real Wiener Schnitzel (calf meat) or Schweineschnitzel Wiener Art (pig meat)… anyway, great challenge and the dish looked great.

imagine going out to eat every night except your food is completely free and you get as much as you can eat. Mind blowing
My idea of Heaven.
He offers to pay for all of them. He will accept if the restaurant declines though.
Yum! I love German food. We like to visit Hermann, Missouri and spend the weekend there. It has lots of German food and wineries.
Beard, stop saying every time that it's disgusting: we are MILLIONS of people watching this and loving it. Well done!
Schnitzel is the most underrated dish in the world. It is also incredibly hard to find.
Depends on where you are 😂 but usually it's pork or veal, not chicken.
It's very easy to make though. My wife is Czech and makes it about once a month, it's called rizek in the Czech Republic. Pork is best.
Is it really? Dry smashed meat.
@@TrueFilter A good schnitzel can have some good moisture. It’s probably the biggest seller at Wolfgang Puck’s restaurant, in spite of his obsession with crappy California style pizza. Puck should’ve stuck with Austrian cuisine and never got into this California crap.
Knowing what Mr Beard is capable of..... the moment I saw the food I felt this was a joke 🤣
Gut gemacht Beard und ich bin froh darüber dass das Schnitzel gut aussah.
Well done Beard and i am glad to see that the Schnitzel looked good.
looked like a crash site with the cheese and gravy on top.
Wow one of the most impressive challenges I’ve seen you do! 8 minutes is crazy!
Great work Adam, the manager was legit really cool with the motivational comments "Just keepeep pushing" etc =)
Well done Adam, that schnitzel was awfully thick and I've never even heard of it made out of chicken, only veal...I'm so looking forward to you traveling more this year&the amazing challenges I know you will crush..love and prayers✌🏻🧡🙏🏻
A proper Wiener Schnitzel must be veal, but most schnitzels served in Germany and Austria are pork. Chicken is known but quite rare.
Hähnchenschnitzel (chicken schnitzel) is pretty popular were I'm from.
a real Wiener Schnitzel has to be veal, but Schnitzel Wiener Art can be pork or even chicken.
@@kevboard please show me a single place with Schnitzel Wiener Art that uses beef and not pork. Ill wait.
@kevboardarts1366 I've never seen beef around the German speaking countries.
@@simonnmw of course you havent since thats not a thing in the DACH region
I’m proud of you Beard. What an athlete! A man approaching the pinnacle of his game. That showed ‘em!
This is a question I've always had on my mind about your challenges, at least the ones where you get them free if you finish them or whatever, do you tip the staff during those challenges? Just curious
That's why he always makes it known to the staff he's a foreigner, so he doesn't have to tip ^.^
@@Soloman_Gumball We do tip in the UK .....its optional though.
He's generous and gives them 20%
20% of nothing paid though is... nothing.
Apparently he often pays for the meals despite winning the challenges, that's what he said in his podcast anyway, so a very generous tipper.
@@danielhollingworth1090 thanks for your answer much appreciated
It looks absolutely delicious! 😋 I'm wondering about the cup, as it seems to have the Barcelos Rooster on it, which is a Portuguese symbol based on a legend. Interesting to see it in a German restaurant haha
This one was funny man. The people are like blown away at how fast he ate it. 😂. All of us who watch him all the time are like oh he has this no problem.
Been watching a couple of years now. Thought I ought to say thank you for being part of my happy place 👊 keep doing what obviously you enjoy 🙌
As a german, I have no idea what beer cheese is supposed to be
American invention, doesn't really exist here. Probably some strange impression they took with them from WWII.
As a german, dont have a clue too...
is it like "bierwurst"? (beer-sausage)
which gets its name just because people have eaten it (this sausage) while drinking beer? Like Whine + Cheese which fit together cause everyone knows that?
or is there really a component of the sauce being beer? cant imagine that being the case - but .. its America, so :D
it's cheese fondue made with beer. Not unlike what is traditionally made in Switzerland with white wine.
I thought they ment obatster a bavarian cheese
Und Ich habe keine Idee warum man paniertes Hühnchen Schnitzel nennen darf. Siehe minute 4:30 "Breaded chicken". Disgusting. Dont call it Schnitzel american Nichtsnutz!
Please get Eric the electric on the podcast
Veal schnitzel is the way to go. Also something about having fries as a side with schnitzel seems wrong
different schnitzel have different meat- some have chicken; some have pork
Sitting here with some blocked ribcage muscles after a 260 km bicycle tour in Germany, I bow to you! It was as remotely delicious to me as it was fast to you. Want some self-made Schnitzel now, but it's Sunday. :D
Rocked that one out. Good job sir
New to your channel..
Been binge watching your stuff for the past week..
Would love to see you do a favorite chicken binge in the UK.. Had people over from America that reckon its better than popeyes (I prefer favorite over KFC)
thanks mate!
You should come to Germany or even better Austria and get an actual Schnitzel instead of whatever that abomination was.
German and Austrian schnitzel are incredible 🎉 I had one at a little camping ground in Malta Austria 14 years ago that I remember to this day.
I ate German schnitzel while in Cologne a few years back. It was absolutely amazing!!!!
Still great work Beard!!
germany is happening this year....almost did it very recently but trying to organise stuff was a bit trickier on account of the language barrier etc.
@@Beardmeatsfood You gotta try a Krapfen challenge if that exists.
@@Beardmeatsfood get theeself to munster for some top German nosh
Prolly because these are challenge schnitzels - they should have together 1kg of weight :D
I checked their menu and the challenge says JÄGERSCHNITZEL, which is breaded Pork Tenderloin with mushroom gravy on their restaurant website. :)
USA has all the fooooods. Love it! 🇺🇸
cool and respectful the way you always complement the food

Legit question... how does your body handle eating this way?
Are there any long term health concerns of competitive eating?
as an austrian i feel insulted that they made the schnitzel with sauce on it... it may be the german version but oh man its a sacrileg here... but great job doing that challenge in under 9 minutes! not sure there are many schnitzel maniacs here that would be able to do it that fast!
@@Faenwolf it has to be drowned in sauce (swabian aswell)
@@Faenwolf In Rhineland-Palatinate it is served with gravy and other sauces too...
I mean you guys make gulash with sausages instead of meat wich is just about as bad so i'd cut them some slack for pouring sauce over a schnitzel.
Thats not Real Schnitzel
Chicken Schnitzel I guess
Where can I get authentic then sir?? 😊
