Maybe it's just me, but I feel the voice Tom Kenny originally did for Dog in the beginning sounded more fitting than what it became by the end of the series.

(Not so) fun fact: This was infamously one of Tom Kenny's most hated roles, so it kinda shows how he gave up in trying to do the Dog voice from the earlier seasons and basically couldn't wait until the show and final episodes were over

Keishen Lloyd Heffer sounded pretty similar too, almost feels like an evolution from voice Heffer to Dog to Spongebob.

The animators were clearly running out of ideas but holy cow! That animation and directing! Huge quality jump and the film references were something else. Dr Caligari, Alfred Hitchcock, several early animation references! I wish I could follow the careers of these animators

That's why I love Tom Kenny, because he's got great voice acting skills. He made this show before he made Spongebob Squarepants, probably after he did the Angry Beavers.

So in the early episodes Dog sounded WAY different back then, and then in the later episodes he sounds almost EXACTLY like SpongeBob. I guess Tom got too used to the SpongeBob role
Camp Lazlo did the “meat grows on plants” thing too. Easier than explaining how anthropomorphic animals eat each other lol (like how BoJack Horseman did…)
Camp Lazlo is my favorite show of all time, I was obsessed with that show as a kid. I was never really into anything on Nickelodeon, but Cat Dog game me some Camp Lazlo vibes which got me thinking of it as kinda an okay show.

Why does Nick Rewind always change their names?
I know, right? They change their name every 2 years . In 2015 they were the splat, in 2017 they became nick splat and now they’ve made the decision to be nick rewind. Should’ve been named nick rewind from the beginning though , not 90’s are all that, not the splat or nick splat but nick rewind.

Ocean I already knew that. It was a short lived block on Nickelodeon after they got rid of teenick/snick , then they made it a streaming section of nick.com. Then it was used to sell dvd volumes of their shows.

I think Cat just wants Dog to be careful. This would include, Dog controlling his chasing habits, avoid being pounded by the Greasers, giving each other some personal time once in a while. Cat does love him. That’s usually how siblings work.
USUALLY! Cat doesn't want Dog to be careful, why should he care if Cat doesn't love him? Siblings are supposed to love each other, but Cat obviously lost any lost all his respect and love for Dog as the show went on. I just think living attached to him just made him even more upset and tired, like he wanted him gone.

Lots of people are saying Dog started to sound a lot like SpongeBob in the later episodes, but to me? I think he also started sounding like The Mayor of Townsville
It's always funny to me how Voice Actors jumped between Channels. For Instance. You have Tom Kenny voicing Jake Spidermonkey on the CN Cartoon.
Likewise, you have CN VA's giving their voices to Nicktoons.
In the Spanish Dub the differences are more notorious, for instance, Mort from the Penguins of Madagascar, is the same voice actor as James from Pokémon.
