Hey!! 👋 I hope you're having a great time in Malta right now! Lovely podcast, Dawn. Your finished Aria shawl is stunning. I like the newest one too. I'll enjoy seeing it when it's finished. Have a great week!! xx
I’m loving your shawl! It’ll be perfect for that bit of warmth at late summer nights out.. I picture a bar in Malta and a nice drink and a bit of a gentle breeze from the beach.
Hi Dawn, I love the shawl and the new one you've just started is going to be gorgeous in those colours. I've just finished making a hobo bag from an old pair of jeans for a very kind young neighbour. She wanted it to be distressed and I have to say that I found that difficult because I like things to be neat and tidy 🤣, but I enjoyed making it and she loves it. I'm looking forward to seeing the Autumn display, my Cinderella pumpkin has never been put away since last year, it lives on my hearth xx
Hello my dear, been in something of a crafty slump myself this summer - maybe something in the air in the village? 😂😂 I love both version of the shawl/scarf and have put the pattern on my “things to knit soon” list 😂. By the way that orange sock yarn knits up beautifully. I’m halfway through the second sock for my boy and they look great! If you need any help tidying the studio give me a shout!
Hi Dawn. Your finished shawl is lovely. I love the changing colors in the leaves! When I was first in Girl Scouts here in the US we did some linoleum cutting and stamping. From that experience I learned that your cutting tools really do need to be really sharp in order to be safe! If they are dull you’ll tend to push harder and then the chance for slipping and giving yourself a nasty cut is very high. (Don’t ask me how I learned this lesson!) At the time I did that I was just starting to learn English so let’s hope that I was just not able to understand the cautions. 60+ years later still sporting a nice scar on my hand. Be careful. Fun to catch up with all your projects. Until next time. Vrede en vreugde
Wonderful episode Dawn, love everything, especially your stunning shawl, it’s gorgeous! Happy crafting 🧶🧵🪡💕

The shawl is beautiful! I love the verigated and cream colours together. I love Sorenstrene Green, nothing nice than just wandering round it😊
Isn't it the best shop to potter in, I was so excited when one opened close to me 🎉🎉🎉🤣😘

Lovely to see a crafty episode Dawn. I feel lucky to have to have one of your hand dyed yarns (it’s been turned into socks).
Ahhh Julie, thank you my lovely 🥰 It's been a long while since I've been at the dyeing pots 🤔😘

Lol I hope you haven't got the scars to prove it 🤞🤣 I'm not sure if I'll be investing in "good" tools yet 🤔🤣😘
Dawn I think your shawl is fabulous. I like it when you wore it as a shawl. Why not line the back and then you will like it better
I might do that Helen 🤔😘😘
