Great as the Cabzeus sounds (I often prefer it to the Torpedo Studio running Ownhammer IR's), I'm pretty sure that it is NOT an IR box... but is actually algorithmic (i.e. digital modelling).
? I just watched Rhett's most recent post today (from yesterday). His first gig in a year. It was great, however I wish he would start touring more. He's great!
Today in general has been horrible. Going through a breakup, ive been sick, but this video gave me hope. It made me smile, and i just appreciate everything you do Rhett. I hope i can make it out to a few of your shows at some point withing the next year
Jaden Padgett all the best man. Life is a journey. In no time at all you'll be on to something & someone new wondering how things could be so great. Meanwhile music is the motivator. Have a great holiday.
When you go out of your comfort zone, like say touring on a massive scale, you definitely find and discover amazing things or lessons along the way! Happy to hear man, and hope to see you travel more in the future!
I was thinking the same thing. You are really settling in Rhett. Working with good people facilitates finding the zone. It's such a joy to witness your success right here on youtube.

I found this channel not long ago, and I'm sure I've been skipping around. But Rhett you seem to have had a fear of singing that you're working to overcome. I must say you've done it well. Now you have a skill with which you can add value to any musical situation you find yourself in. You are already an asset in so many situations, and this addition will serve you well! Nice development!
Thanks so much for your videos. When I was a kid all I wanted was to be a pro, but my band mates told me I didn’t have what it took to make it, so I quit playing. I’ve regretted it everyday of the last 25 years. Never quit kids, and never listen to people who tell you you aren’t good enough. Even if those people are your family or yourself.
Dug that. Your gratitude and a little nostalgic feeling came through. That acoustic set was really good and the live footage was aswell. All the schlepping day in and day out really is worth the several minutes you get onstage. Thanks for sharing and imparting knowledge on us. Cool
And only now I find out you are coming to my hometown Lelystad! Too late, sold out. But Holland isn't that big, hope to catch you somewhere else. Thanks for letting us in to your touring adventures, a joy to watch.
Rhett the thing that makes you a great guitarist is that you play within the context of the band, don’t feel you need to depart on a solo that showcases how fast you can play but supports the sound of the band.
This setup sounds fantastic. When I saw the title I was wondering if that meant you were taking the Hiwatt out on the road, but you are still digging the d13! Glad to see it still getting love!
I love these videos, the band sounds great and Rhett, your playing & tone are excellent! Noah’s vocals are off the scale good! I’ve been binge watching a bunch of your videos from both the US and Europe, excellent content!👏👏👏🎶
Thanks for letting us ride along Rhett. Love to see how you roll it out on tour man. Your a killer guitar man and story teller - Keep up the good work!

Great video, Rhett. I think kind of blended setup can be what the next stage of gear evolution can offer to us. With the number of lunchbox-/small form-factor size amps available, they can be run with great cab simulation/IR boxes. That way, we can still retain the all the beauty of valve amps AND make the whole rig portable. On a side note, have a look at the One Control BJF S66 amp - I was VERY pleasantly surprised! All the best in the Netherlands!
