    I have to say, I've watched your videos and told myself he's biased to a brand. I've owned Diana, Hatsan, Ruger/Umarex and Gamo. While Gamo has proven to be oa roll of the dice, the Ruger/Umarex is decent, Hatsan steady and the Diana great. But I finally got a HW95 in .22 from someone on AGN for a great price. I have to say I totally understood and agree the HW95 is an absolute joy. Very accurate to 25 yards open sights and after adding my Bug Buster I'm hole on hole out to 60 yards. Easy cocking pull and great weight. Thanks for your videos and it will become my Squirrel, Rabbit getter for a long time.

      Believe me I get it. I have many budget ones as well. But the HW95 has made me way more snobbish with air rifles than I should be hahaha. Honestly, before I got the HW95, my $50 pawn shop find the Ruger/Umarex Air Max Elite in .22 was my most used and favorite.

    I just gave my brother my Hw95 . I just got a hw97kt . We did some shooting and the 97 is definitely just for the bench. I miss my 95 for the future walk around plinking so I ordered hw98 in .20 cal i know it’s still got more weight than the 95 but a tad more power and an adjustable cheek. I ordered a hw80 for my brother in-law so I can convince him to just recycle his hatsan with the horrible trigger. Anyway, I love the German build quality and amazing trigger design on the Weihrauch. Another great, honest video. Thank you! I have the HW80 SLK you referred to and I actually bought it after you answered another question I had on your video about the cocking effort of the Hatsan 125 compared to the HW80.
    I love the HW80SLK. Its overall length is only about 40 inches and it has the nice stock of the HW77K as you mentioned. It has quite the kick I might add. I also have the HW95 Luxus in .20 and it is my favorite too compared to my other guns. I have both the HW77K and the HW97K. As you mention, very similar guns but I like the slightly slimmer forestock of the HW97 compared to the HW77K. To complete my arsenal, I need to get the HW30S like you as it seems like a great, light, fun gun. Keep the great videos and info coming. Happy New Year.

    Hey Chuck,
    Thanks for this video reply to my questions and comments. It's very much appreciated!!!
    Travis, (Oh Shoot TH-cam channel), did a similar video regarding affordably priced airguns for pest control and teaching young kids basic firearms safety, a few months ago when my son and I were really getting into watching videos about airguns and were trying to research which platforms to start with.
    I don't have a TH-cam channel. Ken Fan is my actual name. I'm just a guy who has young kids who are about to get into shooting airguns once we move back to the US.
    The reason I asked so many questions about Weirauch airguns is because I realized after watching your videos and following up on your answers and watching other TH-cam channels on the subject, that you are right, they are beautiful works of art, built well and solid. And besides giving my kids some of my old synthetic stock airguns that I wouldn't mind if they scratched or dinged, I wanted them to have something of heirloom quality.
    Since I have two kids, I have to buy two of everything, but like you, I also have a lot of bills to pay and I'm on a limited budget.
    Anyway, thanks again.
    Stay Safe. Be Well. GOD BLESS.

    I have several Weihrauch rifles and pistols and they are definitely the most well-built spring air guns you can get (that includes my Air Arms Pro Sport). The smoothest shooting and most adjustable Weihrauch I have is the HW90. It has a Theoben gas ram piston that is a dream to shoot and extremely easy to work on and tune. You need to purchase a hand pump (with an inline gauge) to tune the gun the way you want it. I can adjust mine from 6-foot pounds for indoor plinking up to around 19-foot pounds for hunting (26 bar max fill). I shoot mine at 20 bar which gives me 13.2 foot pounds with a 10.3 grain pellet. I shoot it at this power level because it is a tack driver at that power level, and I use it for target shooting with open sights. My rear sight is a Williams receiver sight with an adjustable diopter (I removed the factory rear sight). I also have a Beeman RX2 that I shoot at 26 bar and get 18-foot pounds for hunting (same gas ram). These guns are so smooth to cock and shoot it is unreal. If you ever get a chance to shoot or own one of these guns you will not be disappointed. Keep up with the great videos.

Although it is clearly visible that it is a marriage between a Gamo and a BSA, I honestly say that this child shoots much better than my other three Gamos. The barrel should be clearly BSA and personally I think the gas ram could be of a different type as well. I'll wait a little longer to play doctor to see the inside of it. It was once again one of the umpteenth impulse purchases, but I have not regretted my converted $ 143 (including VAT) expense for a minute. The wooden stock is still my preference.

    I know you chose the 95 for rabbit hunting survival but if I wanted the 80 could I go wrong for distance? I saw you recommended the 80 over 95 in a video 3 moths ago for cans at 100 yards. Do you think the HW 80 is best at 75 to 100 yard hunting out of the 4? I feel the farther I shoot the less they run away if there's a couple of them.

    • @springpistonriflefeverlone9611
      @springpistonriflefeverlone9611  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The only problem with real long-distance shots, is shot placement. Other considerations is how heavy of a rifle you are going to carry for a long time during your hunt. To me the HW80 feels like a tank when I have carried it for a couple of hours, while the HW95 is more manageable, being lighter and shorter. Whatever range you think you are going to hunt at, you should have an object about as small as a golf ⛳ ball to practice on. I would not use a golf ball for safety, use a ping pong ball instead. If you can repeatedly hit a ping pong ball at 100 yd then you're good to go 😃👍.

    I have several hw rifles i have given three of my sons hw rifles what i have bought off people over the years because they were cheap i .have a hw 35 luxus walnut stock which i bought in 1976 and i hate everyone of one them to me they are expensive heavy fence post i have tried with them just like drinking and sea fishing from a boat tried it cant do it so i dont .you can talk about power but if you cant hit your target consistantly they are no good ,give me an air arms any day , Thats my opinion and exsperience of them im 64 and still shoot today but if i was stuck with a hw gun i would of quit shooting years ago, even the pcp,s hw100 ,110 they have to be tuned , to be consistant crap for the money but thats my exsperience
