Thanks for this professional video. I have this rifle in caliber 4.5 and tested it with JSB 10.34 and H&N 10.34 (Barracuda hunter) and 10.65 (Barracuda). The best accuracy gained from Barracuda hunter 10.34 with 2.7 mm group from 40 meter. It also has a good killing power, even on jackrabbits.
@@israelh8942 Hey bro, I have not the HW97, but due to it's fixed barrel, it is more accurate than HW80. Yet the HW80 carries more power in long distances. For such long distances, I recommend caliber 4.5, because of less bullet drop than 5.5.
And now Weihrauch brought out the HW80 SL! Same motor, but a much nicer stock. Love these 80's. And that is some seriously good shooting with open sights.
I noticed that my HW 99s (50S) loosened its Stock screws! I also noticed on my FWB 127. You will see a gap between the Trigger Block and the Stock at the rear. I filled that gap with shims, the stock screws now stay tight .
Nice vid - love my South African brothers, quality HW80, to think that gun is around 40 yrs old is mind blowing (original HW80). though in fairness I thought it would have had a bit more fps - worked it out with the slugs & that is only around 13.5ft lbs - not bad but hv seen numerous instances of that gun shooting rly well with around 18-20ft lbs.
The most rugged springer on the market I have the HW80 in .25 cal. A beast. I would rather buy a .22 cal for hunting to skip the expensive slugs. .22 pellets have also more knock down power than .177 slugs. I went for the HW80 in .25 because i have already HW's in .177 and .22 cal, but if i had to choose just one HW for hunting it would be the HW80 in .22 cal. Nice shooting with open sights😁 Unfortunately my eyes don't allow me to shoot with open sights. Cheers!👍
As a backyard plinker I love my springer. My Diana 34 is about to turn 23yrs old, still shoots well but been looking at Weihrauch. They look like great airguns.
Thanks Air Bros for your great Weihrauch reviews. I bought a PCP, but with all the air pumps and tanks and equipment I gave up. Going back to break barrel air rifle and the HW80 and HW90 will be top contenders. Please do one of your shooting videos with the HW 90. thank you! I've already ordered an HW35E, HW50S, HW30S and HW90 in 20 cal. More reviews please!!!! Hello from Canada
Just discovered your channel. Great videos. Please ,please when you use a spring rifle ,keep hold of the barrel or covking lever when you load it ,saftey catches can fail . Other than that observation, very good content.
True, they are scope killers, but if you spend some money on a good springer rated scope like the Hawke Airmax series you won't have that problem. You can even use a Sports Match Dampa mount. I have the Airmax scopes on all my HW springers and they don't care about the double recoil. A HW80 is nothing for kids pal...., and is way more reliable than a PCP.
Hi Sir, from a muzzle prospective is it loud? I mean, I know springers have much of the noise coming from the mechanical sound...but what about Muzzle Crack?? Is it that loud?? Thanks
HW airguns are so beautiful and I love to see them very much. Please be good friends to share information on them. From t2bkk channel in Bangkok Thailand
The are not in the same power and price range. I have both. The Diana is lighter, and smoother to operate, accuracy is the same, triggers are both great. I have my HW80 over 25years and it is solid. I think the build quality of the HW products is hard to beat but Diana comes very close. The standard stock on the 34EMS is a bit basic.
@Babak Geraiely For long range ill use the .22 to buck the wind better but .177 is cheaper with rounds and shoots a flater trajectory. So it's hard to say.
Had an FX crown in .22 for around 8 months.Spent a lot of $$$ at HUMA on accessories & air compressor, not overly impressed.Get the same or better results with a .22 rimfire using subsonics.Ended up selling FX Crown & went & bought brand new Weirauch HW80 .22 to use around farm with grandson. PCPs are overrated, expensive & require a lot more maintenance. I live in Australia so we are not restricted with 12 foot pound BS!

I have a Venom (UK) tuned .22 HW80, the quality and performance is fantastic.

Very nice, King 👑 of the Break Barrel Air Rifles 😉👍
Always nicely presented with entertainment added.Thks.

@@ChrisGentleRock Hi Chris! I use the King,s. You,re right, they perform well. Cheers.
I keep hearing about the weight of the HW80, yet no one complains of the HEAVIER HW77 or HW97.

سلام پی سی پی که خیلی بهتره یعنی راضی نیستین از خریدتون نظر شما درباری پی سی پی چی هست ممنون از ایران
Real nice shooting partner! I'm going to have to get an HW80 after watching you! Great video!

You're an excellent shot with open sights, much better than I am with optics! Well done.
You must have a very keen eye sight--like a hawk.
Another amazing airgun. 🎅🎁🥇⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I wish I had the eyesight and the skill to shoot that tight of group with iron sights! Flipping amazing bud!
Ah thanks bud
Hi, great as always. Why don't you make a full DayState Alpha Wolf video with tuning.
13.38 FPE - Is this low on energy Thought FAC were around the 19-21 mark?
they are. hIs is extremely low in power for an HW80. I have 2 HW80's and both shoot 19 ft/lbs
I have a huntsman regal hr in .177 and 18 ft ibs. you tihkn these slugs would work well on the rifle at this power?
Hi do you think Kral puncher super jumbo is good or Kral puncher empire x? I'm more for accuracy
Hi how much this gun ?
The reason for me to dump springers is because they are scope killers, and do not have power. But they are nice to have for the kids.
It takes more skill to shoot a springer

@@janlooden3643 Everyone who can shoot a springer can shoot a PCP. Not the other way😁
Good video thanks. Do you guys stock springs and pistons for this guy.
Yes we do have instock.
What’s the power of this air rifle?

The muzzle crack is not that loud its reasonable.

better to compare hw95 and D34. Very equal in all aspects and just a matter of taste.
Weihrauch quality is MUCH better. Not even close. Diana's are loaded with cheap plastics and lower quality metal and wood.
Please hold the barrel when loading a pellet! 😮
What caliber do you recommend for HW80 and why?
Thanks
it all depends on what you want to do?
