Love those native slipper orchards. I saw one once when I was a kid too. It was alongside a walking trail in one of our state parks here in Indiana. I too would love to grow them outside in the garden. There’s also a really nice large clump of yellow ones that are planted in a flower bed in a retail shopping area in one of the nearby towns. It’s very impressive! I asked the owners if I could have a start of it, but they Didn’t want to disturb the clump.
Omg I LOVE the yellow ones. I would have been tempted to go swipe one in the middle of the night 😂. Maybe I’ll try those next if my current trial run grows okay.
Hey, nice to see your cymbidiums again! I did tag you on fb to show you I inherited a bunch! Can’t wait to put them outside and see them bloom this year! Also, that cypripedium OMG. I may have to get a couple, I have nice big containers for them outside!
Oh I missed your favebook post about the cymbidiums, how exciting! I will definitely keep you posted about the cypripediums, you should deff try them out in your containers!
Great update. Your cymbidium is lovely, good to know that variety can grow indoors. I thought they all needed cooler conditions. Everything looks wonderful.
Your chocolate chip is really nice. Can't wait till mine blooms. Exciting to see your native orchid project. I'm in new york, need to look to see what's native to here. Very cool.
Hi Nicole! I believe that same cypripedium is native to your area too! They’re pretty widespread throughout all the northeast! If it works out well for me, I’ll let you know! Maybe you can try some yourself.
Your germianum looks awesome! What temperature is it in? I just mounted it but still really tiny comparison to yours... mine stays with other cool growers... I am still looking forward to see the care guide video from you! Thank you for sharing the beautiful blooms!
Cymbidiums are one of the many orchids that I want to grow but the care would be challeging and it would suffer in my climate. They aren't even sold in my local nurseries.
Loved your cymbidium butterball. So cute.
Thanks! It’s definitely one of my new favorites.

I love the lautoria dens. I have microchip and Nora Takanaga and they bloom for so long and easy to grow. Real winners!
Yes, I agree! The flowers last so long that I usually end up cutting them off when I’m tired of looking at them! 🤣
Very nice collection !
Thanks so much for watching!

@@bennetriley1988 I will look it up, and look forward to seeing how it does for you!
Great update, there were loads of Dendrodiums Chocolate Chip at a nursery near my house... I should have bought one 🤣 I’m sold now
Awww, bummer! I always do that. I refuse to buy a plant, then I change my mind the minute they’re sold out. 😫😫 😂😂
🤣🤣
Everything looks amazing!!! 💕You’ll have to post updates on your native orchids, I can’t wait to see how they grow for you!
Thanks Laura! I definitely will update you on the native orchids. I’m SUPER excited about those. 🤞
