Welcome back to YT! 🥳 Really nice collection with a great diversity of orchids. I only have two years of growing experience but my collection really diversified and expanded this year. 13:27 I saw in a video that Disa orchid seeds can self germinate on damp sphagnum moss. 7:14 Summer blooming phals like the Bellina or Violacea are very fragrant and sequential. One of those might be fun for you to grow.
Oh good for you! You seem to have learned a lot already. That’s interesting about Disa’s, maybe if I bloom it again I’ll try pollinating it! I have a Bellina right now but it’s a little small so it hasn’t bloomed for me yet by fingers crossed. Thanks for watching, I appreciate the comment!
@@bennetriley1988 Both of my summer blooming phals are still very young, maybe 6" wide, but the violacea is trying to make two flower spikes already. I also have a schilleriana that is about the same size.
Kick rocks 😂😂😂😂 love your orchids and your videos! We have a bunch of similar plants and I think our conditions are pretty similar so I love seeing whatcha got!!
Nice update, I hope you get back into posting regularly again. Blackened growths can often be traced back to calcium deficiency, so calmag can help indeed; I also learnt that the hard way😂
Heyyyy glad you’re back! Also miss you in the High Desert live streams as well since they are no more 😢
Same here!!! Yeah, me too 😢
Definitely do more videos! That last orchid you posted is so interesting! I need to look it up.
Thanks for watching! Yeah Disa’s are so neat!
Glad you are back. Very beautiful blooms. Enjoyed watching ❤
Thanks for saying that! Glad you enjoyed.

If you give your plants CalMag once a month,it will make them more resistant to pathogens.
I have some but I always forget to use it. Thanks for reminding me!
I was thinking about the CalMag for the black rot on the Catts. Seems I’ve read that before.
Beautiful blooms ❤
Thank you!!! 💚

Thank you!!! I was so excited for that one
Nice collection, I’m limited on space so I have to be careful with mine but it’s nice your back.
I can relate. I have to be a little more selective these days myself. Thanks for watching!
Just came across your video, and I hope you decide to come back to YT. Beautiful collection.
Thank you! I’m going to try to stick with it 😊
