1. Bigbang is the first group to start writing and producing their own music. G-Dragon is the first idol to do it. After that agencies started giving their idols chance to do it.
2. Bigbang is the first one to have official lightstick. G-Dragon designed it. Since then all fandoms followed it and now every fandom has their own lightstick.
3. T.o.p is the first underground rapper turned idol.
4. Bigbang is the first boy group to dye their hair bright unusual colors like pink, blue, neon green, orange. GD and Top started it.
5. Bigbang is the first group that members have solo careers without disbanding. Before bigbang, groups always disbanded or the member just left if one of them wants to pursuit their own career. But bigbang showed them disbanding is unnecessary.

Bigbang doesn't do choreos that much. They did in early days. But now they interact with the audience more. React to their live stages. Choreographies aren't always to be the center of a perf. Their presence are insane. Taeyang though is one of the best 2nd gen dancer. He was known as Korea's Usher. TOP isn't a dancer. Bigbang arenkings of live stages with just their presence.

There are 2 types of audience reactions to T.O.P. The ones who who are taken aback on why he doesn't dance the choreography. And there are those who find this trait endearing and actually hilarious that he doesn't follow the full choreo. It's part of his quirk.
Bigbang is the king of kpop. All these newer kpop groups are templated after them. And they are not marketed as dancing group, they hate choreography. Thats the reason why their live stages are unparalleled because they intend to make each live performance personal with their audience. They are great dancers though- and TOP, the one who aint dancing much- isnt really that good in dancing. But damn, hear him rap and you’ll be blown away.
My Tabi is actually good dancer he just really hates doing choreos but if you let him free style he'll unleash the bingu in him and slay us XD
Ukchan Shiro hahha i just remember the docu when they were starting- he had to practice early morning cause he cant do the dancesteps. I think he hates dancing but evidently, he got his swag that so effortless.

Some immature and frankly very embarrassing V.I.Ps(i'm a v.i.p btw) come saying "bts is nothing compared to bigbang" and some army will come "but bts broke this record and that record, bts surpassed bigbang way more, bigbang is dead now". Trust me army comes even when no one is saying anything bad about bts and they are seriously everywhere. It's so exhausting! I can't watch one bigbang video without someone, be it army or vip, bringing up bts and fighting. That's why i said don't mention bts. Bigbang started as hiphop group in 2006 doing some hiphop choreos but hyping the crowds is one of the reasons why they're the Kings of Kpop.

BIGBANG are one of the groups who broke the stereotype of kpop that is "Dancing and singing". That doesn't even meant to say they're not doing their thing on stage. BIGBANG are admired by many of the K-Idols, they're actually role models of many known idols nowadays, simply because they are who they are. If you have watched Performances of BIGBANG, T.O.P always does the minimal movements, he never went crazy over the Choreo. And it doesn't even affect him as a rapper, actually no one even points out why, they just notice he is that Chill and no one even bothers why he's like that. Kpop idols even just stares and admire him on stage on how he just minimally does his part and his intimidating aura makes just watch and adore. ++ BIGBANG never had strict instructors, they appear That intimidating cause they're simply known as what they want themselves to be on stage. And I guess thats why they're loved that way, they prefer going around the stage to just enjoy the performance or most of the time go around the Stage to interact to their fans.
Besides their dance practices just shows the Choreo for their Songs, but not entirely or strictly said to follow but when in need, they do. They're way different as to the Idols we see, they're not like that. They're different in their way.

Omg you just discovered one of the coolest, to not day THE coolest kpop group, the pioneer, the kings, the one and only Bigbang. They are one of the most iconic groups of the second generation of kpop, all with also successful solo careers and basically just amazing. They are not as active as before but they just need to breath and the world is focused on them. I’m excited to see what’s to come for them.

When you do concerts on stadiums audience cant see the dance moves well since the stage is far so BigBang decided to concentrate on interacting with the audience. This made their perforance more fun , they are more free and natural on stage. Last year an early version of this was found and they started all in sync but in the end every member just did his own version :-)

His character/costume on this song has changed with props sometimes he had the cane, big hat,giant coat etc. your right it’s his style and that’s what make him famous and he can DANCE.
