Such a unique perspective of a ride I thought I'd seen it all for. having the camera not roll with that first heartline roll was so jarring even though I was fully expecting it.
I once managed to ride The Smiler 10 times in a row, then Nemesis 4 times, then Air once... that's 158 inversions in one day! Alton Towers is an amazing park.
@@jessfidler2356 it really isn't but maybe for people who travel from far to go there but lucky me i get a yearly pass and live right by it so yeah you could say im lucky 😂🤣 if you are travling to there anytime soon though just say your a single rider get your mates too and u wont have to que and can ride over and over again thank me lata 💪🏽😎
I was so confused when the camera didn’t turn with the first spin and now I realised that I’m just an idiot and didn’t read the title😂😂 I replayed the video like 5 times to try and figure out why it did that
one question for this ride, does this ride make you dizzy? i felt dizzy on a ride that spins a lot and i felt horrible, i was pale and i almost puked. i’m planning to go on this ride but i don’t wanna feel dizzy or anything. i’m going in 2 days i’m packing right now, i’m definitely going on oblivion and other rides, just unsure about this one.
It really depends on your tolerance to inversions and G forces. It’s not as nauseous as some spinning rides, although the seven inversions on each ride section are intense. You do get a nice scenic breather in between though. Hope you enjoy ☺️
Wish people use non 360 camera doesn't show intensity or actual feel of rollercoaster just normal go pro better Just doesn't shows coaster in any great light

Anything regarding The Smiler filmed by you guys is top quality, love the fact the camera is still rolling in the station!!
Thanks. Always like to film from the start to the very end ☺️
This coaster needed a horizon-levelled POV more than any other. It makes the track layout easier to understand.

What a bizarre POV, the first inside inversion confused me but then figured out that a gimble must of been used? The quality of it is top notch. 👌
It’s actually a GoPro Fusion. It’s a 360 camera that has an accelerometer in it so it can export video like this.
360 Camera. Can add a completely different perspective to things
It is done digitally. No hand held gimbal will snap to the horizon like that.

*SMILE ALWAYS*
Wow this is top quality. I’m still freaked out by this ride just because the theme is so freaky.
went on this literally yesterday, so great
Makes the dodgy kink on the batwing actually look smooth.
And on the exit of the cobra roll!

Amazing video guys! really shows how crazy this ride is!
That's why we love it!
I cant get enough of this pov
Glad to hear ☺️
This is weirdly amazing to watch
Its cool how they fit the smiler on a small plot of land
I feel bad for the workers listening to the laugh but SMILE
This is what a person without smooth coaster mods on minecraft experience
1:07 correct me if I’m wrong but is the speakers on the first lift hill has been quietened down in the 2023 season?
Yes it was sadly 😕
So excited for your videos they are amazing povs
Thanks! Stay tuned over the next week as there’s more exclusive content on the way.
@@AttractionSource oooh I'll definitely keep an eye out thanks ! :))
I now understand the first inversion.
Been on this over 50 times can not get enough of it go every week as I live right by there 🎢😎
Whoop! 👌🏼
Luck but expensive

Best ride going at AT ! U haven't a clue at what part of the ride ur on ! It's fab 👌
evil smiler be like: the coaster with the least inversions
I can’t wait to go on smiler and oblivion in 3 weeks
How was it it’s been exactly 3 weeks
Really cool and unique pov of this ride honestly 👍
Thanks!
When was this recorded? Cus I might’ve been at the park when it was lmao
Last Saturday ☺️
@@AttractionSource dang it so close I was there on last Wednesday and my cousin had a black out on it XD
@@AttractionSource i was there ahah
@@AttractionSource Saturday 14th august? If so I was there!😁
@@bintyminty5603 yep, filmed just before the ride opened at 10 ☺️
I’m 10 and I was so close to 1.4 and I was 1.3 and when I noticed I almost cried and I watch these povs just to make me happier lol
this is so satisfying
Amazing
favourite ride
I had to queue for 3 and a half hours on this ride in 2012 or 2013 when it was first open😁
2:51 - who's playing vibe music?
Going here tomorrow can’t wait fastpasses aswell
Enjoy!
@@AttractionSource was class mate proper good got on all main rides about 3 times ahah
@@-toxic-3486 great to hear ☺️
Bro’s got mad drone flying skills
How do you get permission to record? I’d love to get footage like this but keep getting told no! 😭
We host events at the park so are able to make use of the ride hire time to film, all with permission from marketing of course.
amazing pov thaks
Thanks
Best ride in England
Has the theme that plays outside been turned off? It’s so weird seeing the smiler so quiet
The POV was filmed before the park opened for the day, so not all of the music and effects will have been turned on.
What were the queues like ? We are thinking of going but dont want to be stuck in queues
Very busy at the moment with queues over an hour for major rides - there's always Fastrack which will save you a lot of time.
Alright niceone
If you want to get on smiler over and over again just say your a single rider get your mates to jobs done wont have to ever cue again thank me later 😎
makes it look much smoother than it is lol
Do you have any times to go in this ride? I want to but I’m scared please may you help
think i was on this train lol, was this the one from the gopro or 360 camera?
GoPro. 360 is premiering at 6pm ☺️
@@AttractionSource good to know, thanks

I recognise that operator on the station 😂
Hello amazing footage
Thanks!
im scared for it any tips
2:40 jeez I hate vertical or even steep lift hills, this would probably be the worst part for me.
Agreed
this will be me in a few days
I think I don't know where up and down is anymore!

How do you do this mate you the best
GOING 5 WEEKS TODAY!! 😁😁
When you ride a roller coaster in minecraft thats made with traincarts plugin but you don't have smooth coasters mod on:
I was there just yesterday
Did you enjoy?
same! only got on 3 rides very very busy unfortunately (for context we went coach at the end of the summer holidays, both of which very bad mistakes)
Feels like riding an S&S Axis
Look forward to seeing where the first one is installed!
If the smiler was an SNS Axis coaster:
I will sell my liver to go on this
no joke
My friend told me this is just vomit-inducing, but it looks super fun. Should I go on it?
Depends on your tolerance, but most people would agree it’s great!
@@AttractionSource Thanks, I probably will next time I go
👍
I’ve been on the smiler and I’m 9
i love that you have the bottel i whent on it to lol
smile allways
Woah this is weird haha😂😚
I thought of the backrooms smiler
Hi
do smiler but backwardss :D
The smiler no inversion pov
Wish people use non 360 camera doesn't show intensity or actual feel of rollercoaster just normal go pro better

We always upload a standard POV so you have the choice.
The Non-Inverter
Hahahauhahhahaa
This looks very werid
