When I went on smiler I come off crying and all the staff was comforting me after getting off they where so sweet
I was going on it today but it closed when I was in the line, I WAS SO FRICKING SCARED :o

We went to alton towers and we got in line for the smiler then everyone got kicked out
Aww that’s nice. I’m WAY too scared to go on the smiler, but I’m gonna try and work my way up to it by going on nemesis right before when it reopens
Oblivion at night looks INSANE
I think it makes the ride like the smiler at night is good too

when i went on a school trip to alton towers, i swear i was SCREAMING OUT LOUD on nemesis, oblivion and smiler. everybody in my class kept staring at me it was so embarrassing. im going in august again and hear me out. i am so excited to go to alton towers. this is the third time, (i went before the school trip too)
I’m also going in august on the 26th for my birthday
Lol a few of my school mates went to Thorpe park for being the “best students in the year”, and someone fell asleep on a bench and got lost. They only ended up going on like 4 rides 😂

The pause before the second lift hill on the smiler would scare the sh*t out of me, considering its past. My brain knows what happened, and that it wouldn't happen again, or there.... But id still be crying lol

My first was galactica aswell
I went about a year ago and the first rollercoaster I ever did was wickerman, which tbh I hated, I'm going again tomorrow how did you find galactica as I might try that?
@@phoebs1316 it's so relaxing and so much better than wickerman, it feels like your flying. I absolutely loved it, it might look intimidating but it's literally not
I ended up not doing any coasters, lol I genuinely think wickermans given me some sort of ptsd, but I'll totally do galactica when I next go@@stockjjk

Imo wiker man is the best ride at alton towers. Not just the ride itself but the preview before you go in aswell is so good

Someone tried to film halfway up the chain lift of wicker man when I went on it and it stopped going up until they put the phone away

Great filming! I'm just wondering, how were you able to record all of this, because I know Merlin don't let people film on their rides. Another question, did you use a chest strap while recording? Thanks and have a good day!
I had to get the ok for guest services
And they checked my camera equipment out and said I could use it on the used but I have been told by other people that they got no

How did you manage to film on the rollercoasters? We were not allowed to do this after asking by email. I'm very curious how you worked this out?!
Hi mate I ask at guest services on the day I went and showed them the mount I was using and they gave me the go ahead to do my videos on that day. I must of been lucky as been told there are others that have tried and had no luck

Thanks for the nice comment and no I used a wrist strap but I did ask Guest services to see if I could video the ride and they said I could do had no worries

All ill say mate is Wickerman was the first coaster i ever went on and its deffo one where youll realise if you love it or hate it, wooden coasters are super cool and you may even like steel coasters better but youll have a great time mate dw

Yeah you can tell a worker about they will bring you ear defenders or just bring your own!

I hated it, wasted 350 pounds, we went on wicker man, five hours to line up, and the ride closed down
