This sniper is more PvE than pvp imo even when it was around last time I used It for that plus there's wayyy better options for pvp.
I prefer the flat 15% vorpal
Mathematically precision instrument is a better dmg perk with a 20% dmg increase across 11 shots (7mag+4th times) while vorpal is only 15%. But I also prefer vorpal, since it allows u to swap weapons freely, u don’t need to shoot a full mag without losing massive dps. I think sacrificing 5% damage for the ease of use vorpal provides is absolutely worth it.

The only use of this sniper would be with dragons breath in a long dps phase. Vorpal is not optimal in that scenario. If you are using it for majors then vorpal is better… but also why you using a sniper for majors😅
@@b0ld651 how’s vorpal not optimal in that scenario? Rather precision instrument wouldn’t be optimal, since it wouldn’t let u swap of the gun and reshoot dragons breath every time until you shot all 11 shots if u want to have more (5%) damage than vorpal.
The gun is shit honestly, got mid perks & a terrible frame. No reason to use it in pve, since ikelos sr exists for dps with a better frame & better perks. The only reason I can think of using this gun would be for gms, since u can’t utilize ikelos dmg perks there properly, but honestly using an energy sniper feel like wasting that slot.
@@Ysl489 ya i mean no one will ever use this as secondary dps option if u run out of ammo (or maybe only at oryx). But i also think that vorpal is the better choice here, since u have it on every shot. Precision instrument u have to stack and actually land those crits and as u mentioned u can't swap weapons. So i agree with you, sir🤝🏽

I got an adept with snapshot sight and vorpal 7 round mag. Not sure what the other first perk is. Is that decent for pve?. Looking to grind out the grand Master tonight. Maybe twice if I can find a decent team
4x charm + precision instrument or Vorpal would be Nice
I got a old role that has a mag with vorpal of 7 with adept big ones because of the sunseted first trait forgot the name
Got fluted barrel ,extended mag, fourth time, precision and reload master work
Don't care what anyone says, explosive payload will always be my go to perk for snipers, I just fucking love the feeling and its vibes
Yeah it's not really dmg perk but hell does it feel good
I also like FTtC rather than clown cartridge, CC is just a "boring" perk where's with FTtC you actually have to play the minigame of hitting your shots

Disappointed that it's not dropping in this week's NF. I've done it since this morning and it's 4:30pm already not dropping at all for me all I got was a very old season Horror's Least that's it and this is on Heroic. This sniper is 1% drop rate. I had more last week with Undercurrent than this.

The worst GM but hey I might give it a shot. I got a God roll on the original adept version. Just need one with the origin trait
I just ran it with an LFG team with Nighthawks and Polaris Lances and it's an easy 20-minute run.
Polaris ignitions take care of ads and Sunshot skips the ball encounter altogether.

In the section with the three islands where you need to hit Sedia with a charged ball to break her shield, shooting her with a Nighthawk Golden Gun will deal so much damage you'll skip right to the final part of her health bar, making last stand incredibly easy.

I don't think you need to break your back to get 7 rounds in your mag since it only adds 1 more round with FTTC ie 11 instead of 10, and you'll get much better utility out of adept big ones and vorpal. 15+7.77% more damage in every shot against champs, mini bosses and bosses vs ramping up your damage slowly over 11 shots.
Its not a guaranteed drop at GM. Platinum is a guaranteed drop only.
