- In Mortal Online 2 there are 3 options to use fight pets. I explain the differences between taming and domination of pets and mounts and give out the full spectrum of info. Some pets are currently not dominatable and not tameable but where promised to be on the future.

Very nicely made video. Little tip for our tamers who wanna level their pets a little faster and the usual spots in town are taken /the TC NPC is already being nibbled on by 12 direwolves: Get a level locked level 1 horse to the pet you wanna level. Let the horse attack a pig or chicken (it just follows it around). The other pet will also level up faster ;)
what an explanation of pure dominance
Problem with pets is that they are a wildcard in PvP. Your pet is either useless or OP. Mostly because of the bad AI and pathfinding. It's crazy to spend so many action points and so much time to level pets not knowing what random bug will happen in the next fight. As long as pets don't follow the same rules and limitations as players do, this will continue to happen and I don't see SV capable of implementing a good enough AI and pathfinding system.
Taming is a pain in the ass to lvl up, can be fun sometime, but it is actually too much broken to be really enjoyable.

dominate I book trains dominate from 0-50, dominate II trains from 0-70. There is no reason to ever use the dominate I book. You gotta spend a dozen hours to train it to 100 anyway.
Domination... That mechanic which was "in the game" for almost 2 years but wasn't...
Pets are OP against the casual players or those who use easy to get, risk-free equipment like vendor armor or mob drops. They fall off HARD against anyone mounted and anyone with decent equipment. They also do poorly in large scale fights where they can easily be focused down since most pets are large and use buggy AI. People say they're OP, but the reward to investment ratio is usually garbage unless you only stick to using multiple fresh tames which die as easily as they are tamed.

the tameable animals that can be dominated should take like half the skill level than taming, since you cannot sell them. so like horses should be dominatable by 10-15 points only. that way dominate would be more useful as a cheaper self-only version of taming
what do you think if they were to add a task system for taming it was a thought i had

At your two minute mark in the video you say you can learn domination in haven thats false. Only Taming and Creature Control. I just tried it.
