My guess is the Kawi Ridge is going to compete with the Polaris Expedition class of vehicle. I don’t think it’s going to be the new Sport machine. My guess is they release the Ridge in Jan 24 and Oct 2024 we get the announcement of the new Kawi Sport machine with the same engine but boosted up. The Ridge will allow them to work any powertrain issues out before they release the Beast. Just like Honda did with developing the DCT in the Pioneer utility model before introducing it in the Talon.

So I own a Ninja H2, and just sold my X3 and the Maverick R with smart shox will be here this coming week. With that being said I do not think the new Kawasaki will have the H2 engine, AT ALL. The h2 engine is absolutely insane. I do not think it would be a fit for off-road at all. And if it does end up getting the h2 engine it will be the king of performance undeniably

Don't be so exited I think will be just utility SxS . For some strange reason Japanese manufacturer don't put out high performance SxS .

PPP sounds like triple marketing Hype. If "Ridge" means mountain-rock crawler, then it should have a 3 or 4 cylinder 1500-2000 with lots of bottom-mid range torque and a properly geared low range. If they put in the H2 turbo 1000 motorcycle engine then it will be just another fast desert car.
I am a KRX fan. That’s what I use on my channel. I keep hoping for a good reason to trade mine in. It doesn’t look like it will happen this time. I’m afraid it’s going to be more like the new Polaris. Who’s going to want to damage that or get it in the position for a rollover. Can’t wait till tomorrow’s unveil.

No recent videos on here saying you were wrong about the Ridge. The Ridge is either going to be a Polaris Xpedition competitor, but I think it is a Polaris Ranger XD 1500 competitor the more we are seeing from the teasers. They have had a teaser nearly every Tuesday now and this is what we know about the Kawasaki Ridge.

Correct we were speculating off of patents and teasers. A lot of assumptions are being made off of new teasers it being over lander. Which it probably will be but I’ll wait to see at this point for conformation
This is exciting. I’ve said since before the KRX came out that I would love to see a version of the supercharged 1500cc inline 4 they have in the Ultra jet ski in a sport UTV. It will more than likely be a 1000cc variant of the H2. Regardless, still excited to see the numbers and what it looks like.

For real! Polaris have carved out a niche market all for themselves because they have the best sport car looking 3 wheeler without the sport car price tag! Willing to bet Kawasaki and Yamaha make the wheels lean like a motorcycle and at a cheaper cost and better design!
I think you guys are missing the mark on this one. The Ridge is going to a direct competitor to the Xpedition/General segment with a Ranger XD motor. The supersport SxS that the H2 supercharged motor, electronic disconnected swaybar with potential DCT tranny is a completely different animal. The Northstar Xpedtion tops out at $49k and the Ranger XD is $50k. Put the performance level of a Pro R or Maverick R with an enclosed cab. You’re talking an $80k SxS. The market can’t support that right now. Plus, Japanese manufacturers are very conservative with new products, see Talon and KRX release timelines. Don’t know when we see it, maybe same launch event. I think the KRX ‘R’ will be revealed in October for a spring launch.
You might be 100% right. I’m hoping that they offer a bare bones race version, but allow every upgrade to make it like an Expedition
With the enclosure part it does seem like maybe more that way but big motor and unground rumors with the big hp potential seems like it might be a beast
It’s definitely going to be an expedition competitor, but they are also going to be releasing a 4 cylinder super charged krx too,

I can see that. It takes some real seat time in it to like it quick rips in for first time people will most likely hate it imo
I promise it is not the springs in the suspension. It is leaking nitrogen in the shocks. Factory shocks are built like junk, spend the money and have a professional rebuild them for the kind of riding you do.
It sounds like the new monster will be the SEGWAY coming out, y’all need to check it out, think it was over 300 hp from the factory

I am beginning to think that the oh shit button has a patent on it with their dynamix programming. Also, if you look at the KRX with a factory windshield washer nozzle, it looks very similar to the sneak peak of the Ridge. Don't forget that the KRX has a hood scoop on it, too. Has anyone else noticed what looks like a Walker links on the front swaybar in those schematics?

The only thing I don’t like about my Honda Talon is it doesn’t have a 4 cylinder and a navigation. Honda makes one of the best 4 cylinders on the market in my opinion. Imagine a Honda Civic Type R motor in a Talon.
