I'm very excited to create fairy houses with my grandkids for the small side garden we started last summer. More creative and imaginative play for the kids outdoors. Thanks for the inspiration!
I don't seem to be able to even look at hot glue without getting it all over the place. I kept looking at that beautiful table thinking it would get some on it! But you are a PRO!! Very cute!
“I thought they had a cedar shake appearance”. That is why you are so 😀 great... I would never have that kind of thought. All those many years of cleaning up maple whirlygigs and I never thought of using them for anything! Just love your imagination. Smile of the day!
I can see a small village of these sprinkled through out a garden. That would look so cool! I am also thinking, fairy Christmas village for the holidays, instead of gingerbread or traditional ceramic villages (a cheaper, homespun version anyway). Awesome!
Loving the natural elements of this fairy garden, Laura! I tend to shy away from creating these because of the cartoonish look of plastic and porcelain, but this one is stunningly whimsical!
Adorable, we had a walking trail close to where we lived with a fairy garden, to hear the kids giggle and laugh was amazing, haved loved fairy gardens ever since💓
Children just love to imagine little worlds with little people or fairies, I know I did when I was little. I remember The Borrowers books and imagining little people in the walls of my house taking things! So fun!
Suggestion for Easter, create a fairy garden village for your table centerpiece along with your bulb starts and other houseplants. A mini woodland on your table!
I am designing a small garden room in an unused area of my garden., 100% shade! My design will feature “ garden art” , ferns and mushrooms. This video popped up as I was drawing it out, I felt like the room was meant to be and there will be a small village of these homes. My first thought would be to keep the village entirely compostable but am considering using what I have even if it’s not, just to keep things out of the landfill.
I’ve watched this 3 times and still cant believe you saw maple tree helicopters on the ground as your beginning inspiration. God has blessed you with such a creative mind. I’ve never been a big fairy garden person but your creations make me want to do this with my 5 year old granddaughter. Your inspiration and passion for your family and the videos you created are amazing. ♥️ Garden Answer. thank you. Oh and who could give this a thumbs down. I just don’t understand.
That's just precious! I think I'll try to find a large acorn to add to the peak of the roof when I gather things to make my own. You have a wonderful imagination. You must get that from your mother. She sets up simply magical displays at the garden center.
Love how you use things right from the garden- natural things that many of us can find right in our yard. It would be awesome to see what different gardeners in different zones or countries can find and design. ❤️😍❤️
Wow! So amazing how you get inspired, your endless creativity is amazing. I remember as a kid we’d take a handful of “helicopters “ , toss them up and let them twirl back down. Good times😊 thanks for the lovely video
Such a cute inspiration. Am going to try with my 10 year granddaughter, who collects rocks, seed pods, etc whenever we go for walks. She plays with mini dolls in the garden too. She wants a couple strawberry plants, do you think we could use them as some of the plants?
This is so amazing. I’ve been collecting supplies for my daughter’s April birthday. She’s turning 5 and is so exited to make a fairy garden. I’m totally going to collect these supplies so we can make one together!! I’ll definitely share on Instagram when we are done.
Good morning everyone. This looks amazing. I like to see projects that you create out of what you already have in your garden. I wish I have even just 10% of your creativity.
The best fairy garden yet. You are so creative. I’m always looking for a gardening craft to do with my little granddaughters and this will be perfect🧚♀️
Absolutely stunning. Glad you are inspiring us with more fairy gardens. These cute fairy gardens was exactly how I first got drawn and stumbled upon your channel five years back. You have been my inspiration since then. Thank you for all your lovely videos which inspires and teaches beginners like me to become better at gardening.
I am just amazed by your talents. The things you can come up with is amazing, strange but weirdly amazing! I don't know how you come up with allot of these crafty ways of reusing allot of the natural elements around you. You just amaze me!! Does Aaron think that you are crazy when you come in with all the strange things you do for projects? Wondering what is she going to do with all that? Does Benjamin ever want to help create these crafts? Whenever I get out my succulents and the stuff for crafting my grandson, Noah wants to help. So we started him his first garden for succulents and flowers. He has been inspired by watching Benjamin watering the garden, help with flower picking and just spending time with you. So we have incorporated allot of the things I normally would only let him do with my help. He is now doing on his own at 3 yrs old. I believe this little red head, blue-eyed boy will grow to love plants. Thanks for sharing this lovely video. Have Blessed Day everyone!
@@Young-Riders ohh that's nice.. Well im from Poland but live here in Cleveland Ohio. But im actually in turkey right now working. So if you don't mind me asking. How is the weather over there right now?
Just yesterday when I needed to drill a hole in the bottom of my pot, I caught myself saying to husband "Laura taught me to..." And he knew exactly who I meant. I hope you know how inspiring you are, and what a great teacher you are. Thanks for all that you do.
The fairy gardens are not something I'm interested in doing but I really enjoy watching your creativity! God has blessed you very well. In watching you my jaw drops. Just amazing.
This is one of the many things I love about your projects! You forge through your yard, and your creative mind can envision this precious fairy garden. I forge through my yard, and bag trash for the garage pick up😂. However, seeing this does inspire me! Thank you Laura 🤗
I am so glad you did this, it may be my favorite one so far. Showing us how we can achieve a fair garden without having to buy all the pieces is awesome. I love, love, love this!
There are fairies at the bottom of our garden! It's not so very, very far away; You pass the gardener's shed and you just keep straight ahead, I do so hope they've really come to stay. There's a little wood, with moss in it and beetles. And a little stream that quietly runs through; You wouldn't think they'd dare to come merrymaking there- Well, they do! Rose Fyleman
Laura, nailed it! Samantha Grace and Benjamin are lucky to have you as a mom. Can't wait to see the journey you and Aaron take them ,as they grow. What a learning adventure.
That is precious!! If I were a fairy I would happily live there!!! I agree... you should make an entire little community of houses and have a display somewhere... maybe the Garden Center!!!
I had a ZZ plant in a bathroom with NO WINDOW! I am telling you.. ZZ plant is the most lowlight tolerant plant I’ve ever had. More so than the fern or snake plants
Whether it's landscaping for people or fairies, your creations are always so creative, unique and inspiring. Thank you for the step by step instructions of this adorable fairy garden! You are so creative and have such fresh ideas. I'd love to see you add a fairy garden to your list of must-haves in your gardens!! ♥
I usually don’t enjoy the fairy gardens, because I don’t care for plastic “stuff” in them. This one, however, is so natural and lovely. Thank you for sharing it.
I think this is my favorite fairy garden. It’s all natural and just beautiful. I especially like the touches of moss on the fence and the roof is genius! Finally a good use for helicopters, lol. A nice way to start a Sunday morning. Thank you! Have a wonderful week.
Now this is something I’m going to make, omg it’s perfect and just what I’ve been looking for 🥰😍🥰😍🥰😍🥰😍 I was just looking on eBay last night for some fairy houses but I couldn’t find anything I liked. Thank you xxxx
Love the maple keys as cedar shakes Smantha Grace is going the have fun making fairy gardens in the new hartley greenhouse while having tea parties with her mom and two grandmother's 😀😍
I’m so thankful that you showcase these types garden treasures. At times, I forget that the garden should have wonder and imagination! Thank you, Laura!
Just had to pop onto my tablet to comment as I watch TH-cam on my tv. I love this lil Faery house n garden and think I'll be busy tomorrow making one similar, usually it's cardboard boxes etc. Please know I watch all your videos but don't comment as it's on the tv as I mentioned. Thankyou for keeping an Aussie elder interested in my own lil garden patch. Blessings to you all. 🥰👍🏾😀
That’s adorable!! Stay in that practice Laura, little girls love things like that for imaginative play. It would also be an awesome matchbox village in a garden!
I love this project. It's so fun to see you take on creative projects like this. However, placing a ZZ plant with a fern is a recipe for disaster. One likes drying out and the other enjoys constant moisture.
Laura, this fairy house is adorable and turned out gorgeous. Those helicopter seeds would also be perfect for Christmas decorations, I can imagine a Santa Claus wearing those pods, or a reindeer made of branches covered in those also along with moss.
I love this house and the garden! I have been saving different containers such as coffee cans, coffee creamer bottles, etc to make this exact type of thing! I have an old maple in my yard and the root system is near the surface so it has created a natural "village" (complete with growing moss) for fairies to live. My granddaughter and I want to create a fairy garden around the base this summer. Since it is snowing here in Minnesota today, this is a perfect video for me to show her how we can design homes for the fairy families to live! Thank you for always being so inspiring!💛🍃🧚♀️🌿
Not into fairy gardens but me and my daughter are making this!!! Thank you! Your ability to see what could be is incredible. I Love to copy things but I am not naturally creative so thanks for sharing!! 🙌
I’ve GOT to do this! My new grandson will be coming home from the hospital today so I finally get to see him. His room is done in Buffalo red and black plaid and nature and wilderness mural on the wall. This would be perfect for his room or in the house. ♥️👶♥️
Hot glue QUEEN is back... back hard😍😍😍 Its absolutely my favorite fairy project this far, Laura you are a TALENT!
QUEEN of not feeling hot glue burns
That’s what I was thinking. She is the Queen of fairy gardens too!
This is my fave fairy garden too! Probably because of all the natural elements, it looks legit!
Super

I can see a small village of these sprinkled through out a garden. That would look so cool! I am also thinking, fairy Christmas village for the holidays, instead of gingerbread or traditional ceramic villages (a cheaper, homespun version anyway). Awesome!
I LOVE that idea!! How fun to make a village and then decorate the houses and/or make new ones for Christmas!

Are you kidding me you are so ridiculously talented my goodness!
I am not "in" to fairy gardens, but this one is beautiful! This is one I would love to have. Great job!
I like the fairy gardens without the fairies. 😃 Prefer to look at them as miniatures!

The fairy gardens are inspiring to teach kids how to forage in their yard and assemble in an imaginative way. Love it!
