so glad you were able to fit all three trees in the arrangement (more pleasing to the eye in odd numbers)... my husband groaned when he saw what you were doing this morning because he knows this will involve a walk in our woods today!.. thanks for a great simple festive idea...
Girl everything you touch pertaining to the garden, even in winter, turns out amazing! Thanks for all the inspiration you’ve given me. I’ve not seen a video to date that has not been absolutely adorable. Your love of family, friends and followers is what we need in this world, more than ever! Love you guys, thank you so much! 💚
When Laura says “forage” and you immediately think to yourself “I can’t wait for her annual foraging trip to the mountains with her mom!” Always one of my favorite videos!
Woodsy, earthy, natural and green. It looks like you just reached into the forest and pulled out a peaceful, wintery, storybook moment. Great imagination!
Suggestion for keeping the trees upright is a scrap of plywood for inside the container. Put a screw up from bottom into the base of each tree trunk. This would also raise them up a bit so you could see more of the tree branches. This is a beautiful project.
I would put the whole thing on a piece of plywood, rather than the container. You could space them out a bit, so you could see each tree better, and really play up the “forest floor” idea.
Beautiful and so creative! Another way to create a similar centerpiece, for those who don't have access to tree stumps and power drills, is to use a piece of hard styrofoam (the type used to pack shipping boxes). It can be easily cut in the shape you need for the base and painted dowel rods instead of sticks can be used to create the tree structure. Lots of moss will cover up the styrofoam easily. Artificial greens can be used as well so the arrangement can be re-used from year to year.
@@kristiemcgrew4522 Good question, that could be a problem. Maybe some hot glue in the holes, or use florist tape to hold down the styrofoam or if all else fails, I would try duck tape and run it across all of the styrofoam, securing it to the vessel. If you have green duck tape, that's great, but if not, any color duck tape is fine as the moss will cover everything as the final step in assembly.
Love the close up of your shoes. Your beloved pair that you always wear. They have seen better days. You are such a normal lady, not much emphasis on clothing or foot ware. Love that about you.
You seem to have this magic touch not just turning ordinary items into something spectacular but also spread this holiday cheer and happiness. It’s like leading to the ultimate finale but every day is like opening a new present which is exciting. I’m sure Aarons awesome camera skills and your very talented editor is icing to the amazing Laura cake definitely part of the magic. Thank you for being the gift that keeps giving
dang! Speaking of creative people. Laura, you're one fantastic and talented person. You'd never done this before but look at your first try. The result is fabulous!
Laura: “ If I do it again I might scale it down just a little bit...”. I wonder how many of us out there were chuckling to ourselves as she said this, thinking, “Yeah, right!“ Lol 😂 What a great little project! I can’t wait to try this. They’ll be nineteen of us for Christmas Eve and I can’t wait to put one of these, (or more, as I channel my “inner Laura“) on the buffet table! Thank you for this!🙂💚
I love the evergreen trees you did on the table I love the ideas you do on a table I love watching your ideas that you have have a wonderful day God bless
Such a fun project! You make everything look so easy. I loved it when you put the wood between your feet your shoes were holey. Looks like time for a new pair of vans. Every time I see those shoes I think to myself, I need a pair!
Thank you so much for your ideas! With the flooding in BC and the new variants, I just love how you can come up with creative ideas that will completely transform the conversation into a safe comfortable place to be. It’s what so many of us need right now, You are a lifesaver.
Laura: I may not be able to fit all 3 in the container. Me: What?! The queen of cramming plants?! Of course all 3 can fit! Me, a minute later with all 3 in the pot: that's my girl 😁🎄
Oh Laura I love the way they turned out! The twinkle lights are perfect! Everything always looks good with twinkle lights right?, lol!! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Laura! You are like the Jennifer Aniston of garden crafting 🤗! Thanks for all your fun and inspiring ideas. Stay beautiful and sweet! Happy holidays!
I am always amazed at how talented you are .... What a gift to have and that you share it all with us .... is just so exceptional ..... !!! .... Thank you Laura ..... Hugs
WHAT! Shut the front door~ Laura everything you touch turns into Gold. They are so stinking cute! I have to try this now. What a great inspiration. They are beautiful and can be enjoyed all winter long. I love them!!
Watching your videos is a highlight of my day. You genuinely enjoy your home, garden and life and it's so refreshing. I really love seeing how you put together these sweet projects and I kind of want to ask for tools for Christmas because they don't seem so intimidating anymore. Wishing you and yours a Happy and Healthy Holiday!
Thank you for another great video! And this is one of the reasons I love your content: Unlike most of the video makers, you’re not trying to sell me something, but instead are showing me something I can create out of what I may already have on hand! Thank you for your smile each morning, your down-to-earth manner, and your easy-going teaching style. You inspire so many.
one word - Brilliant !!!! once again you've created a thing of glorious beauty from "stuff" found in your garden. Doesn't get any better (or easier) than this. Thanks ever so much for sharing ...
Thanks ...This is a great inspiration for my indoor Christmas Village display with Lionel Toy Trains. So easy and fun. It will smell great too. After the holidays just break down for Green waste. Job well done!
I think you don’t even mind dirty hands I think you are so real and you love what you do . Gardening is so good for us in so many ways ! Being close to nature lets us appreciate all of Gods wonders ! The trees came out so cute enjoy watching you create special things !
Your well-loved shoes cracked me up! Hopefully Santa was watching this episode and will surprise you with replacement shoes as an early Christmas present before you end up with open toed shoes! Sheesh! 😂 Cute, cute display as always!! I've been following you from the very beginning, and I've always admired your vision to put things together like this. So creative and you make it look so easy!
I Love the results of this project! Yes! to another successful Laura display! Thank you for sharing. I am surrounded by pines & broken branches, pine cones & acorns if the squirrels haven't foraged them all. If I had an inch of creativity, I would have thought of this. I think we all get some creative streak from store displays, other social networking svcs, Facebook shares,, Pinterest, Etsy, in person craft shows/stores. Etc...something which looks so beautiful seems so easy with a little glue, & a smidgen of creativity..Haha. Have a great day All!
I have a juniper, use a few branches at bottom of the tree for my 2 pots by front door. Those little trees are beautiful. Love the deer standing there too.
This arrangement is beautiful! The brown at the bottom makes it look more realistic for an east coast woodland understory. You made it look very easy & fun to make. Thanks.
So cute, scale is perfect! The lights would also look good among the moss. I envy your access to all those tools. I love to create and used to have them but apartment's living isn't amenable to saws and drills. Lol
So beautiful, Laura! But wait. No Wilt Stop? You turned me on to that product years ago and it’s the best. My greens looked good through January! Thanks for all the beauty you bring to us every day❤️🎄
You totally give our Bob Ross vibes when you do these videos. I love it! So positive, smiley and what a joy to watch. Thanks for sharing. I kinda need to go out and try this myself! Happy Holidays!
Great video Laura! Thanks for inspiring many people out their including me! See these little things can change HUGE things in the world and you are changing the word to be a better place! Great video!💚✨🌿
Your pot in the back looks like a spot for the three or four ball big topiary, maybe a string of twinkle lights rapped around your round metal hoops. easy peasy you have a centerpiece that is good in cold weather or a basket filled with Christmas ornaments that you put outside. I used to have twinkle lights and giant pine cones from NC on my back table. The twinkle lights were solar so it came on at dusk and looked charming. Love your ideas for Christmas interest. Thanks for sharing.
Such a brilliant seasonal display!Project days are always inspiring. The process of creating is fun, including the taking apart and putting back together. Thanks for a fabulous start to my day, Laura. 🎄
I loved Laura's face when she got to the Princess Pine (around 13:28) and she wasn't quite sure how its airy branches were going to look. I've been trying to figure out what to do with the pot at my front door that will last throughout the winter and I think this project might just work. Thanks again Laura for inspiring me.
Good morning Laura and family, that's such a cute display , I'm glad you put all three in the container reminds me of a forest love the ideas that you come up with I'm definitely going to make one and one for my daughter thanks for sharing have a great rest of the day.
Your version of princess pine is veeeery different from ours here in MN! Here, PP is a small, only a few inches tall, whispy plant from boggy mossy lowland woodland areas. Either way I LOVE these trees!
Laura I love watching you do things besides gardening you are so capable! I love that you're not afraid of tools and doing the hard work! Also that your decorations are mostly natural which is hard to find on TH-cam these days. Thanks for great video
What I thought was so neat about this display, was it was in a shallow dish, and could me moved. Would be neat on a buffet table. Think I would like crawl in there and visit the little woods. Thanks for sharing. Most of all everyone, please just remember to take your time and ENJOY all your decorating. Like Laura does. Happy Holidays!!!
Leave it to Laura to make a pile of twigs look glorious! 👏 👏 👏 Bravo and thanks for the inspiration!
so glad you were able to fit all three trees in the arrangement (more pleasing to the eye in odd numbers)... my husband groaned when he saw what you were doing this morning because he knows this will involve a walk in our woods today!.. thanks for a great simple festive idea...
😂
😂
" My husband groaned" so funny! It made me laugh! LOL!
My husband just asked, “Do you have that kind of wire?” Knowing full well before I even finished watching the video that I’ll be trying this myself. 🥰
Girl everything you touch pertaining to the garden, even in winter, turns out amazing! Thanks for all the inspiration you’ve given me. I agree-beautifully worded, Anne!
❤
When Laura says “forage” and you immediately think to yourself “I can’t wait for her annual foraging trip to the mountains with her mom!” Always one of my favorite videos!
Me, too ! I love the antiquing trips with her Mom, too.
Folks, you are more than superb!! God bless!!
I'm glad the deer made it into something. He's so cute!
Woodsy, earthy, natural and green. It looks like you just reached into the forest and pulled out a peaceful, wintery, storybook moment. Great imagination!
I love it!
@@youareamazing8004 Me too!!!
They are great as big as they are. Nice!

So smart! Would definitely make it super sturdy and wind-resistant.

Nice substitute ideas .!
But I wonder if it would be too too heavy for styrofoam. If so, any ideas for stabilizing?

Super cute! You crack me up Laura. "A normal person would do this outside".
Love how you just "do it"! sawing, drilling, digging, augering, decorating etc. etc. Great example for all of us to just try things.
Omemee it's not hard, you can do anything you put your mind to.
Great ideas they look cute I love them thank you.Greetings from Snowing Switzerland

“Channel my ‘inner Laura,’ “ that’s me!
Love how you think out loud, exactly as any of us would do. Always a pleasure to watch your creative process!
Love this idea, and how scalable it is. Can’t wait to try it. Quick tip - hand sanitizer takes evergreen sap off your hands like magic.
Wow thanks for the tip!

I think this is my favorite craft you’ve ever done!!!!🌲🌲🌲🎄🎄🎄
Laura, normally deer go in pairs, maybe adding another deer to hide that wood base is a good idea?
I find that my deer come in multiples of 3, mom and twins to eat more of lily trees!
WOW!!!! I Absolutely Love these!
