I am 45 years old and shamelessly have been too afraid to plant anything and kill most planters I buy. After watching your video numerous times, I attempted to replicate it. I substituted some of the plants with what my local Lowes store had. It turned out great! As neighbors strolled pass I called them over to share my master piece with them like a proud new mother. I watched the remaining of your videos and have planted three more pots. You have even inspired me to trim back a bush and edge a flower bed. Thank You!!!!!!
+julie mckeon Your comment made my day! I love that you are inspired to do some new gardening projects! :) That is exactly what makes doing videos worth it! Keep it up!
I watched this video about 3 years ago. Maybe even 4, and i just remembered it. It stuck with me for 4 years, and i am back. I cannot even explain how much i love this video
I love your creations Laura especially the Fairy Gardens, they really are magical! I have enjoyed watching your videos as you create these beautiful enchanting little gardens they are so calming and relaxing to watch . I had a few ideas and have collected some pieces for my own creations, but now after seeing your videos I am inspired to really be ambitious and keen to start. 😊
Love love LOVE this Laura! I would've never considered a blue spruce for the mix! You've really helped me step outside my box and look around for what I can be creative with in my pots! I am definitely going to try a water feature this year! THANKS! 😜👍🌳
I know I’m about six years late watching this I had to really search to find it. I love fairy gardens. I am so glad I found this subscribed. I’ve been watching since day one, but I had to take some time off for family obligations so I probably missed ya I’m gonna make up for that honey. Happy new year to you and your family cheers from Florida
Wonderful creations!!! I fell in love with the ancient one, but the whole exhibition makes me want to have a couple in my office space. The ONLY deal is that depending on the species one ought to take care of them daily or every other day. The beauty it shares in one´s space is invaluable. Thanks a lot and keep up the great work!!!
Delightful Laura. Thought l would make a fairy garden pot a week or so ago. And decided l would look you up as you are sure to have made one. Hope mine turns out as good as yours. Thank you for showing us how 👍😁
The perfect gift !!! I am going to make one for my sister in law who is home from an illness on the hospital - she will love this and it will get her outdoors to tend to and enjoy!!! Thanks!!
I love fairy gardens and I love this one, I would love to see a fairy garden that is permanent, plants that can stay in the container for as long as a person wants the fairy garden, plants that tolerates all four seasons in southeast kansas. Tfs
Just got home from a really hard day and watched 4 of your videos, Im totally addicted. Just so lovely and relaxing to watch. Really love what you do. :)
i love your projects! i was thinking of making a succulent planter like your other videos but then i saw this and now i wanted a fairy garden so bad! you're my inspiration!
Love this! We decided to use a Rosemary (trained/trimmed in the same shape) in place of the Blue Spruce. As we continue to snip it to keep the shape we've got wonder clippings to cook with! :) We LOVE your container, though! And cannot find one to replicate it! Any suggestions on where to find one just like it?
+Posh U with Amy I love the rosemary idea!!! Wish I would have thought of that! :) The container is from the Braun Group in their Portofino Collection. They are a wholesale only company, so I would check with your local nursery to see if they carry Braun or if they can get a hold of their product. ~Laura
You mist be a earth sign person, or a Capricorn, just by seen the way you hold the plants, the sand and the rocks. Being looking your chanel for little over 5 months and can get enough of it, i feel very distress after 2 or 3 videos. love how you talk to the plant, some people don't understand that we are connected to plants, earth, water and we should treat it with respect and I have always think plants react and grow according to our feelings. God keep blessing you with wonders.
BEAUTIFUL!!! I have a 3 tiered non-working fountain that I’ve been using for succulents but I’m planning on making it a fairy 🧚♀️ garden . This video helped me a lot thank you so much 😊
Thank you for making this and showing us what to use. It is so peaceful, I will be making this with my daughter who will hopefully just go to it and try to relax in to her own imagination. Thank you :)
You make it look so simple and it always turns out beautifully. I've been looking at other videos on other channels. They put so much into the fixture. It ends up looking a bit mess....with a water feature. Thx for the video. I'll have to give it a try.
First time watching your channel, you are so charming! I love your down to earth attitude. I an sending this video to my granddaughter who is 5. She is interested in doing a fairy garden this Spring...that is if Spring ever arrives here in Connecticut, lol. You just got a new subscriber! Thanks for such a fun video!!
+Garden Answer what is the water thing called sorry if it's like 3 in the morning I live in Scotland also what flowers or mini trees would you recommend for me because it always raining and cold thanx
I love you Laura you're so real and funny🥰 I am absolutely hooked on all your videos learning so much, going to make fairy gardens with my granddaughters maybe next week now that were all vaccinated🤗 May God-bless you all❣💜💚🌿🙋♀️Laura LaRita
Beautiful, great job. I have a question. I have a three tear fountain that some gave me. Do I need to put a pump to keep the plants alive? Or can I just put a plastic liner on each section. I love it and can't wait to start it. But I don't want all my plants to die.
that is so beautiful..and glad to have stumble in your tutorial, so thank you so much for sharing, I ditto the comments below you are really creative. I am going to try one of this.
Hi, from Australia, love your sruff, cant wait to try lots. need to work out this Zone thing here! I live on Gold Coast, Queensland.and dont know our Zone numbers, will look into. but LOVE to garden. thanks from Oz
Super creative and therapeutic for sure. Thank you for sharing such a lovely project. Well done! I want to make one this year. Great gift for Mother's Day :) Couldn't you keep trimming the plants like one would do with Bonsai and swap out the seasonal annuals?
+Mallory Durrick Merlino You definitely could! It has quite a bit of room for root growth, so I would have to get in there and keep up on root pruning, but it could work! :)
It's really lovely; one can just sit and watch and listen (to the water flow) and dream away. I have a question about the raised garden bed . The plastic the you used to line the box, how thick is it? I looked online trying to buy some. I wonder if I should buy the 4 mil or the 6 mil thickness pastil sheeting. I'd appreciate your input. Thanks
That was 4 mil plastic and has held up really well so far! I had tulips planted in it this spring and have cut those back and have veggies in it now! :)
