Which is why I do my hair in steps takes me like 2 days to get it fully done lol wash deep conditioner at night / overnight, blow dry next day, flat iron in next day lol
OMG I just tried this blow drying method using the wide tooth comb first then the paddle brush. Completely changed my results, best and smoothest blow dry ever!
Yasss Kelsey, your hair is bomb as always. This video was so satisfying. You and Kendra are by far my favourite hair youtubers or youtubers, period. Even if my hair is 4a/4b, yours tips and routines are what helped my hair because it's simple and straight foward. Thank you
I have wavy/curly over the bum (classic length) hair and I use drugstore all the time. I have never had issues with my hair falling out or not being cleansed enough. High end is not always better. Sometimes the basics are all you need! I use Pantene and Herbal Essences *all the time* and I love these products! I cleanse with a sulfate, weekly, I weekly wash, and then I typically go in with 2x conditioner or 2x a mask, or I mix and match. I think a shampoo really needs to cleanse the *crap* out of your hair (with all those styling products) and the job of a conditioner or mask is to provide slip and moisture. To me, those things never change and I thank the health of my hair & scalp to it!
Your hair is literally goals! Can you PLEASE do a hair growth or hair care routine? I know genetics play a major role, but I would love to see how you maintain the health of your hair!
Soooo glad you did a new straight hair tutorial!! I’ve watched all of them in the past, however ain’t nothing like the inspiration from a new one. It keeps me motivated to take care of these natural strands of mine. Thank you for your generosity. Much appreciation!
I agree with another comment, these videos never get old. Love that you used drugstore products!!! I used Aussie in high school and I’m going to pick some up at Target to add to my routine! ❤️
My hair was also shedding so much but then I started using "Nutrine Garlic Shampoo Unscented ". My shedding has decreased by 80%. I buy it through Amazon.
@@breeb803 Seems like the older I get the lazier I get with taking care of my hair !!! I used to take such GOOD CARE OF MY HAIR and loved doing it !!! Today I am doing the avacodo, mayo, egg , honey and apple cider vinegar condition. First time in a long time. But my hair stays dry and this used to work very good to moisturize my hair. Makes the hair look like I have a relaxer in it . I haven't used a relaxer in over 15 years ! Hope this works like before! Good luck to you ! 😀
I'm always amazed at watching videos like this and people who give it a thumbs down. They've got to be the most. Miserable people ever lol this video is bomb. I've been looking forward to an updated drugstore routine.
Hey Kelsey! I love the results. Question. How do you maintain your straight hair while working out? I want to straighten mine but don’t want it to be sweated out to quickly. 😩 Love you guys!!
outward.ambition when my hair is blown out, I typically put mine in a loose bun and wrap my edges with a satin sweat band. It typically will last a few days. But I don’t sweat a lot. If you’re working out heavy, maybe change your workout schedule during the week you blow your hair out?
Sometimes I wish I had the patience for long hair. Soon as my hair gets a little longer than collar bone length, I cut it. I just can’t 😓...Beautiful hair, beautiful results ❤️
Wow, your hair looks amazing. I see how you have to take time for your hair if you want it to be healthy. I complain about doing my hair all the time and I do neglect it and my hair is not even half your length. I'm challenging myself every month this new year and I'm going to start taking better care of my hair and wearing it down for a few weeks like you. I'm taking all of your tips and I'll let you know you it turns out. I've been a new subscriber for almost one year now and I love you and your sister channel. I've been thinking about going nature for one year now and I still revert back to the perm. However, I love how you both always let us know how important it is to take care of our hair nd I love that. I also like how you give us very important tips, like not brushing your hair while wet, I did not know that. I just notice a lot great tips in this video. Thanks! I may not comment, but I'm always watching.
The L’Oréal damage erasing balm and the Aussie insurance leave in has helped my hair sooooooo much, I’ve been using it in my routine for the past 2 months and my hair has been growing like weeds. Thanks ladies for the recommendations... I’ll never be the same lol I keep it on deck so that I’ll never run out.... continued from the other video adding those two plus the shea moisture silicone free leave in weekly has changed my life!! I use for twist outs, blow out ect... they are staples
I want to flat iron my hair but haven't in 6 years so scared of heat damage and also that I will want to keep doing it. Maybe I will try doing a blowdry and finish w hot rollers instead. I like curls but I miss being able to easily brush my hair. I LOVE Kendra & Kelsey being so patient with their hair.
I shaved my head a little longer than Amber Rose! It’s the best thing I ever did! I can workout whenever! I don’t have to run from rain. I can wash my hair whenever I want too! And I’m still cute and get a ton of compliments. With that said, her hair is beautiful! I just don’t have energy and hair restrictions for my life style anymore. And I’m still traumatized from childhood hair time! LOL
Idk how you and Kendra do it without a relaxer. My hair is as thick as yours if not thicker and I just relaxed it yesterday after 3yrs of being natural. I just couldn't take it anymore. I wish I had the arm strength, time and patience like you and Kendra
Where was this last week?! I just did mini twists in my hair. Love this! Definitely will try it after I take these twists out. Your hair tutorials always work for me.
Had to stop and say, GIRL, DYSON NEEDS TO SPONSOR THIS VIDEO!! While watching you blow dry your hair and NO EXTREME GETTING CAUGHT IN THE OTHER SECTIONED HAIR, HAS CONVINCED ME TO GET ONE!!!!
I big chopped June 29, 2019. My sister and I made a pact to not straighten our hair until July 4, 2020. I’m excited to see my growth soon! So here I am
Your hair is beautiful Kelsey and i love the look after you blow dry! You look like a natural haired barbie doll 😊 i need to invest in the flat iron that you and Kendra use even though i think i have a pretty good flat iron for my budget, but I'm still going to have to get my hands on one. FYI I bought the Tresemme Heat tamer spray and I love it! It smells soooooo good and it works really well.
Super happy you made this video! Can y'all update us on coloring your hair? I've been coloring my hair black about two years now and just want to see if anything changed in your routine. Thanks in advance 🙂
I’m so inspired I want to get my hair that length. I don’t know if I need to do a big chop. Can you do a video on the steps on how you got your hair that length and thickness? Specifically if of big chops are necessary.
TakishA Gambe not trying to answer for them but been following them since day 1 and they didn’t BC they gradually cut off their perm hair in the beginning. If some of their older videos are up on their channel check them out.
My youngest daughter's hair is just as thick and long and takes me like forever but I have to ensure each section gets the same treatment from the shampoo to the flat iron. I'm old school and still use hair and scalp conditioner aka grease but just three taps. I still have my Hot Tools flat iron from when I went to cosmetology school in 2011. Hate not finishing. Great video!!
Very nice. I can't use the chasing method with the comb as I see influencers use; it slips and falls and I don't have time to chase that, too, so I'm going to use my brush from now on. I flatiron with a serum because I get heat protection and shine all in one. I'll keep multiple root passes in mind as well. Seriously, the serum makes my hair look like glass and it's not oily or greasy. I'm going to start sleeping in my satin lined slap caps. All of my pillow cases are satin. Every last one of them. I give the cotton to visiting guests(lol!).
This was such a good video, you made it easy and affordable 😉 I’m going to get those leave ins but definitely that heat protectant to use when I straighten my hair on my channel. I saw someone else use it and had the same shine 👍🏼
I asked myself, what is the difference in results achieved from salon type vs drug store products. U get great results regardless!! Here, i don't see the sleek, smooth results typical of your straight styles but it still turned out beautiful. Question: How often do u trim?
12:37 "Jesus I see what you've done for other people, and I want that for me."
Yes indeed!!!
Amen!
Amen, yes Lord 😰😰😰😰
👏😂.
Echoing
I just want more thickness and maybe middle back length. My arms are tired just from watching. Gorgeous hair!!
Same here. My hair is finally growing but I don’t feel like there’s enough density
Hailei A. Hall that’s the same length and thickness I want.
I said the same thing too but after seeing this video me and my arms are ready to suffer! Lol
Which is why I do my hair in steps takes me like 2 days to get it fully done lol wash deep conditioner at night / overnight, blow dry next day, flat iron in next day lol
Have yall tried ayurvedic herbs? Like alma, hibiscus, brahmi, fenugreek, henna? Great for thickening the hair.
OMG I just tried this blow drying method using the wide tooth comb first then the paddle brush. Completely changed my results, best and smoothest blow dry ever!
Results are GORGEOUS as usual! I mix high end and low end sometimes but I try and keep it high end to make sure my hair is happy!
eVaniwithaV What high end products do you use?
Same here my hair loves living proof Kelsey put me on that 💜
All this hair. How does it feel to be Gods favorite
Wawwww
😂😂😂 haha your comment got me laughing so hard.
🤣🤣God does not have favs!
😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I swear I could watch you guys straighten your hair over and over and it never gets old! Kelsey this length though! My goodness!
When you literally need a neck brace to flatiron your own hair, girl I would be like Ken come grab this iron a pull it to my ends....
Ann Pickett I think sometimes they do swap...I know when they colored their hair of course
😂😂 Sometimes we do
The Glam Twinz where did you get the paddle brush
LMAO....right!
If y'all made a hair care line no matter the price it would sell out quick
Lol!
Isn't that the TRUTH!

When she said the brush is literally just chilling in my head I felt that 😭 beautiful thick hair!
I like you and Kendra been following for 10+ years! These hair videos have been so helpful for me now and then.
I’m definitely about to straighten my hair now
I’ve been waiting for this my whole life... well since the last straight hair video ☺️
Have you guys thought about your own product line? I would definitely feel good about buying from you guys because you 2 actually know hair care.
Great idea 👍
Whoever disliked this is literally jealous cause girl you did that 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 that hair routine finish is just flawless 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾
Wow, the length and the shine. Absolutely beautiful and inspiring!!!

I’ve been indecisive whether I should straighten my hair myself or go to the hair salon I think ima try myself.
Beautiful results 😍😍😍😍😍
thank you!! will definitely be purchasing these products and i agree the cheap blowdryers and flat irons are useless
I agree with another comment, these videos never get old. Love that you used drugstore products!!! I used Aussie in high school and I’m going to pick some up at Target to add to my routine! ❤️
Gorgeous!! I have locks and was mesmerized. Watched the entire video. Well done!!
Wow... I just love your hair, and the care you put into it. I’m trying to grow my hair. You guys are such an inspiration😍
😍Tfs!!! Do you experience any shedding? I was looking while you were finger detangling and I did not see even 1 strand. I lose like 200 a day.🥴🥺.
Tiffany Island I don’t get that much lately🤷🏾♀️
Black tea rinses helped me with shedding

Tiffany Island yassss me too , I thought it was just me.

Sister I’m proud of you, with all that hair. It Can’t, I’m too lazy

I’m too lazy too. I just cut a couple inches of my off because it was too much work

Hey Kelsey! I love the results. Question. How do you maintain your straight hair while working out? I want to straighten mine but don’t want it to be sweated out to quickly. 😩 Love you guys!!
