He jumped out at night while it was raining. On top of that, he took two parachutes. He also only left one stack of money in a river. It wouldnt be cash flying about like that due to it being in a rubber band. Wrong model and color of plane. He didnt smoke like the original db cooper. He didnt leave behind a tie. He didnt sit in the back of first class. The attendant didnt originally see him leave like that.

This was probably the most interesting backstory to an alternate Loki, was so excited to see this in the trailers and honestly I wish we saw more but what we got was really good, so glad they included this.
Since this Loki only became an alternate variant after the Avengers fumbled their time heist, it is safe to assume that the real (dead) prime MCU Loki did the same.
I like the detail of the money flying out at the end, 'cause in real life, the only thing ever found afterwards was some of the cash in a river. I like that attention to detail.
Alot of people think DB Cooper might have been Canadian. Hence, he use the term "negotiable US currency" not something an American would say in the US. Thats for sure.

What sort of situation would bring Thor, Loki, and Heimdall together to rob Earth's money and then instead of just come back from the spot hijack the plane and make Loki jump from it. D. B. cooper sat in the very back of the plane in the middle seat and asked the flight attendant to sit next to him. And wads of money from the 200,000 ransom were found buried later, and the time of the jump was at 8pm in some sort of rain/snow and not to mention Loki's accent alone. So there is room for improvement on the accuracy in this scene. Still a really great scene
You know the stewardess who was with DB Cooper in the actual hijacking is still alive, I wonder how she felt when she saw this. Also everyone should check out the HBO Max documentary about DB Cooper.
