Notice how Krieg is better than everyone here? The only reason I'm not going sicko mode on your ass is because you placed my boy Wilhelm on the third place. That saved you
I know Krieg is the fan favorite and many will come to defend him but let me do it justice: Krieg is objectively better than most characters simply because he has built in gameplay loop, something that most characters lack... Let me elaborate; while most characters usually go around just shooting or get boosts by simply existing or getting a kill, Krieg has you think about what you do at the moment and what will you do after, example: get a Grenade kill to then shoot my Guns, get a Melee kill on a weak enemy to then use my Grenade, you get the idea, not to mention how that also affects his Action Skill and how that Action Skill itself has its own loop and others such as managing Health with kills and Release the Beast... He also has his pros like very fun perks and mechanics like Bloodsplosion and Bloodstacks, good build variety from Gun, Melee and Elemental with the biggest flex of all being the fact that hes OP10 viable without the need to have Moxxi weapons 24/7...

Brick is so much fun if you slap an explosive relic on his action skill. some of the most fun I've ever had in gaming is sprinting up to bandits and psychos and delivering a hail of explosive punches onto their heads.

I would have swapped Aurelia and Zane imo but Athena as number one? That’s both a surprise and not a surprise since I beat the main story with a melee build on my first try, seriously, I only swapped to the elemental build (which is awesome btw) because of one boss on the claptrap dlc. Just her versatility alone makes her a hell of a fun character imo, being able to mow down with elements like a siren would (but better because of ammo ignoring), becoming a melee crazed Zer0 but better (health regen wut wut!), or becoming the best co-op character is part of the reason why I loved Maya as well but Aurelia has a whole skill tree dedicated to co-op that’s useless without a partner. My friend didn’t like playing as her and had to rely on me a lot (skillhelm my boi) during our double playthrough. Otherwise, solid list, I feel like mine would also be similar to K6’s list too since goddamn is Zane fun with funny lines.
I love Zane a lot too … He has a bit of everything for an amazing character, fun personality, super fast, being pretty tanky just by shooting guns and trigger kill skill, amazing damage, can trigger ASA,ASE, & during skill duration anointment easily with cannon and drone/clone/shield, can generate infinite ammo, can use two different skills … I was doing a blue red tree build as well with clone and shoulder cannon, giving the clone a nice gun and I can stand afk pretty often, grease trap with clone also melts bosses, while I can have infinite ammo with the ammo regen while clone active as well …
I agree with most of the low placements, personally. The only differences I have are, Zer0 is number one for me. Melee mobbing is the most fun I've ever had playing borderlands (even though op 10 kinda broke it). Also i'd probably swap axton and moze placements. As well as Sal and Maya. I know that's controversial, but I never enjoyed Sal. How you feel about bore is how I feel about sal. So many broken skills that just make him too easy to play. Besides those big changes, my list is more or less the same maybe with some slight variations.
The only reason pre sequel isn't far and away the pinnacle of Borderlands is lack of ongoing content. As a base game experience and in terms of gameplay and vault hunter variety, it literally wipes its ass with every other BL game.
Currently went back to bl1 after the flop of a movie, just to remind myself that the games were so good... I currently have mordi as my character and I have a bloodwing tree and pistols trees mix going on and bloodwing feels strong when they hit 6 ppl with a 4x explosive mod/artifact they are almost always one shot, I tend to use him when I'm being rushed by smaller add groups
Athena was my first Presequel Character and I loved playing her. My friend played Aurelia. It was great. My favourite BL2 character is Maya, BL1 Lilith, and I want to say Moze is my favourite for BL3 but I enjoy all of them.
never expected my beloved no.1 girl to be the first in this list. other from Athena's super dynamic and fun skillset I just want to add a few more takes. firstly, her skills are very good not only for herself, but for the team also. awesome teammates' shields regenerating capabilities, AoE heal not so OP to cover all the damage, but pretty observable and crucial at some cases, and, of course, the "Clear!" ability. oh god, how cool does it feel to just fiercely throw this thing into your mates struggling in FFYL and then hear that prayers for your holy shield. it's just constantly saving the day. secondly, her flexibility. all of her 3 skill trees are highly viable. xiphos is just a dynamic dope, ceraunic is crazy powerful, and phalanx is a solid backbone for every case. you can unlock all of the final skills in each tree, gain all cool features she has to offer and still have crazy dynamic, crazy damage output and crazy sustainability without any drawbacks unlike most of the other characters. and thirdly, balance. I personally think that Athena is the most balanced character in Borderlands series, and what I mean by that is that she can be either fun, super supportive and pretty average in terms of damage output, or really agressive and just as OP as most of the broken characters in the franchise, but in order to make her so OP you actually need to pay attention to many things, like 2 to 3 kill skills, 3 to 4 other triggered passives and a pretty tough-to-keep stackable, continuing swapping weapons, counting seconds and killing minions in a crazy tempo with dozens of events happening on screen every second. only that way you can achieve high damage, so you really feel a necessity of actual player skill and reaction to get awarded. this is the most precious feeling imo.
The pre sequel is so underrated! I played as Athena too when I beat the game and it was extremely fun. I want to do a Wilhelm run next and Aurelia after that
Fragtrap definitely isn't for everyone, personally I love him, he can be somewhat OP or complete garbage depending on how you build him and play him, he's much more chaotic than the other TPS characters, So I completely understand, even if I would have put him a little higher.
I respect you for putting Flak lower. Everyone picked him day 1 and I stuck with Zane thru it all. Look how they buffed him. Ooo he’s been my favorite from bl3. Favorite from 2 is probably Krieg or Maya. Pre sequel Jack all the way
While Zane is my favorite in BL3, adding the shoulder cannon was a huge mistake and it highlights the main issue of BL3. Action skills getting reduced to "press button to activate damage anoints".
Honestly a solid list, but now im curious to see how the fatemaker classes would rank in this ( I know they’re not VH but who cares it’s the same thing )
Honestly the pre sequel had some of the best skill trees/actions. Athena is probably my favorite too, the fact that you can also make your shield revive downed teammates made it so good for late game grinding early in its years.

The delay involved in some of the class abilities, like holding down a key and waiting in order to mark a target for flak's pet, might make them a bit less fun to use since they lose out on being as dynamic as others. Might also be why classes that can activate their abilities more than once feel better to play too, like with the clawbringer and their hammer throw
Bruh for every low spot you just say "I know you might be pissed, but I actually have a good trason for why that character is where he is. I don't like him."

All of bl1 at the bottom, axton over the literal best mobbing character in the game(krieg) and FUCKING 3 PRE-SEQUEL CHARACTERS AT THE TOP!!!??? Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and I respect that, but bro that has to be one of the wildest tier lists I’ve ever seen
1000% agree with Athena. 1000% disagree with the rest of the list. Respect the opinions tho. My top 5 list would probably look like: 5: Amara 4: Zero 3: Maya 2: Krieg 1: Athena
Honestly bloodwing is awesome in mordecais middle skill tree the skill at the bottom let's you send bloodwing attacking multiple enemies at once I combined this with a class mod and I could attack using bloodwing dozens of times before he comes back combined with another skill from the same tree you can cause loot and meds to appear at a crazy rate which I really enjoy seeing so I've had a lot of fun with mordecai
Gaige is fun af! If anything she’s lacking because they made shock damage so damn weak in bl2. I went the first two play throughs without anarchy and enjoyed playing as her just as much as I did Athena!
We are all entitled to our own opinions on how we play each character and game...so to each his own... at least we all love playing the Borderlands games
If bro could make everyone last place he would he hated every character from every game 😂😂 like what a list 90% of placement is "they're here cause I don't like them, NEXT!" Bro should never play a single BL title based on these rankings 😂
Here’s an idea for you epic nng I have no clue if this is possible is there anyway anyone can create custom dlc for the pre-sequel I love the game just wish there was more content thank you so much
Krieg was my favorite in Borderlands 2, but I'm just upset about it. I think the point of multiple classes is so people can get into different themes, my favorite being lower just means all other classes was also that awesome, so I think of that as a positive thing rather than negative. Borderlands 1 is meh, but everysingle classes from other Borderlands game I consider awesome even if I don't enjoy them myself. I do agree few character could had been more fun if they added the stuff you mentioned though, such as the robot being the actual playable character in Borderlands 2, and Zero using a Assassin Sword outside of just melee. But oh well, lol XD Which does mean it's a shame that Borderlands 3 decided not to do the same with their DLC. And it might have something to do with Designer's Cut DLC that added more skill-tree, cause now they they must be like should they add new character with 3 skill-tree, or 4 which will result in a character with more diverse option even without Designer's Cut, so they decided not to risk splitting up the fan-base even more and decided not to do it at all. EVEN IF designer's cut is a content that's already in the game but got cut instead (probably cause they thought it wasn't good enough), hence the name. All that would had been solved if they just turned that skill-tree into a free update when they changed their mind about it, but NOPE. Oh well, it is what it is. Lol XD
Whyd you have to do my homie brick like that. Hes the only character ive 100%'d borderlands 1 with. The trick to having fun with brick is to not use his action skill and go into your inventory as soon as you start the action skill to get a permanent speed boost
I think gage is probably a bit worse than mordecai because at least mordecai doesn't revolve around a single gimmick 99.99% of the time your opinions for this list are all understandable and really cool tho despite that teensy tiny nitpick I got :)
Finally a borderlands youtuber that doesn't dick ride BL2 BLTPS vault hunters are fucking peak. Also salvador ruined BL2 and is the main reason why i dropped the game

I mostly agree with that list. I would put fl4k in my top 3. I had a blast playing him
these are no opinions these are warcrimes😂
Athena at #1 is my 13th reason why, in my personal opinion would be in the top 5 most boring characters.
why are you playing Roblox at the start of the video?
peak gameplay
Nvidia profile inspector
All of bl1 at the bottom, axton over the literal best mobbing character in the game(krieg) and FUCKING 3 PRE-SEQUEL CHARACTERS AT THE TOP!!!??? Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and I respect that, but bro that has to be one of the wildest tier lists I’ve ever seen
Everybody loves Krieg yes, but Axton is very underrated.
TPS just has better balancing which let's every vault hunter be fun
1000% agree with Athena. 1000% disagree with the rest of the list. Respect the opinions tho.
My top 5 list would probably look like:
5: Amara
4: Zero
3: Maya
2: Krieg
1: Athena
Honestly bloodwing is awesome in mordecais middle skill tree the skill at the bottom let's you send bloodwing attacking multiple enemies at once I combined this with a class mod and I could attack using bloodwing dozens of times before he comes back combined with another skill from the same tree you can cause loot and meds to appear at a crazy rate which I really enjoy seeing so I've had a lot of fun with mordecai
LET'S GOOOO !! TPS hunters were interesting and fun AF
You mentionned new modding techniques with BL2. Would that mean that we could mod TPS characters in BL2? It would be the best of both worlds
yes, we could
@@EpicNNG THAT IS HUGE MY DUDE!!!
11:31 seeing the evil smasher made me do a double take lol
We need every vault hunter/weapon/Enemy/Gun/World added to the BL2 Engine and updated.
why are you playing on a psp?
Nah. Top 4 easily should be the BL3 characters. Most diverse end game unlike the old games where you can only have one viable build each.
Gaige is fun af! If anything she’s lacking because they made shock damage so damn weak in bl2. I went the first two play throughs without anarchy and enjoyed playing as her just as much as I did Athena!
Hell yeah Axton is not dead last!!!!
Axton mains rise up!!!!!
I absolutely love this!!
How dare you do my Soldier classes dirty. Shame on you.
Great Video very well done, also fuck you for not liking Krieg more
We are all entitled to our own opinions on how we play each character and game...so to each his own... at least we all love playing the Borderlands games
If bro could make everyone last place he would he hated every character from every game 😂😂 like what a list 90% of placement is "they're here cause I don't like them, NEXT!" Bro should never play a single BL title based on these rankings 😂
Did gear box hire him to design amara krieg is quite literally the best brawler siren
Here’s an idea for you epic nng I have no clue if this is possible is there anyway anyone can create custom dlc for the pre-sequel I love the game just wish there was more content thank you so much
I agree with most but I wouldn’t even put Athena in top 10 lol
Zane enjoyer? Yikes
God tps did have such fun characters it's a shame rest of the content wasn't to match. I've always longed for a full set of real dlc
But oh well, lol XD
Which does mean it's a shame that Borderlands 3 decided not to do the same with their DLC.
The trick to having fun with brick is to not use his action skill and go into your inventory as soon as you start the action skill to get a permanent speed boost
i ended up maxxing kreig up, and, god damn was it tough, especially UVHM
Flak is the best vault hunter in borderlands in my opinion
I think gage is probably a bit worse than mordecai because at least mordecai doesn't revolve around a single gimmick 99.99% of the time
your opinions for this list are all understandable and really cool tho despite that teensy tiny nitpick I got :)
Finally a borderlands youtuber that doesn't dick ride BL2
BLTPS vault hunters are fucking peak.
Also salvador ruined BL2 and is the main reason why i dropped the game
Fucking wilhelm ahead of krieg. What a fumble 🤦 🥶
hell yeah athena indeed deserved the number 1
