Two months late and this video still pisses me off bro then goes on to explain shit that literally happened in the story and is a major plot point as if anyone who played the game would wonder
Dying isn't canon unless it is in a Cutscene: " Yesterday I played Borderlands 2 and died and a New U Station said: " We will bring you all the time back, except it is in a Cutscene" I think it is a joke but idk.
Yeah that's because the New U stations aren't canon. So you are right. When you die while playing it isn't canon but when someone dies in a cutscene it is canon.

27:13 This isn't a "theory", it's part of the lore. Roland practicaly adopted Tina and took care of her. This is why there is so many pictures of them together, Tina's writing on his memorial, and why she is so heartbroken by his death.
Back when Borderlands 1 was first teased and we got the early early concept arts, where Lilith was Steele and Roland was some white fella, that fella got reused for another character in the game. Prototype Roland is none other than our fan favourite Dr. Zed. Except he wears a mask 24/7.
Good bit late on this, but I would like to add that the original model for Mordecai was also different and got turned into the enemy called Reaver. As far as I understand, the only one who never changed was Brick, the prettiest siren.
White death was the nickname of a famous finish sniper who killed hundreds of Soviets in WW2 while Lyuda represents a Soviet sniper named lyudmila who killed hundreds in WW2. Sniper of the west for Xbox, sniper of the east for PlayStation.
tiny tina's dragon keep 2 is literally just wonderlands - look at the areas described, bottom of the sea, desert.. very interesting to see them bring it into a full game
When Maya asks Lilith what happened to her powers Lilith does not explain to her what the Calypsos can do. So I would say Lilith got Maya killed as well as Roland...
Guys. Everyone was at fault in that situation. Lilith: for not telling maya about what happened. Maya: for not trying to know more about what happened. Ava: for not listening to maya. Moze/Amara /Zane/Fl4k : for not telling maya more, despite witnessing the effects of tyreen's powers first hand. Krieg: for not being there. There was nobody innocent at that point in time. But i'm pretty sure Ava not being there would have been a game changer because maya would've been in the vault with you and have exited the same time as you to witness the vault monster absorption. Just saying.
Jack definitely wasn't a "good guy" at the beginning of pre sequel. He was just not nearly as maniacal. He was still a power hungry narcissist at the beginning of the game. What kind of hero has a big alien eye that shoots death star lasers?
@@RemingtonSteel eh, is she? i mean, she's got ice speciality which is cool and all but athena's got elemental boosting, several different elemental based skils, can absorb elemental damage from enemies and reflect it back, she's essentially got two really good build concepts, being cryo + melee or her shock elemental spam stuff, etc. aurelia's probably got the best elemental skill tree in the series, admittedly, but athena feels far more like a siren.
@@PianoEmu1120 Yeah, Maelstrom Athena is a ton of fun. Stormweaving giving you infinite ammo is just icing on the cake. Throw a Storm Front grenade and enjoy those 500 instant stacks.
I feel like the New-U was canon in the early stages of making Borderlands, as it was a fun, in-universe way to explain why everyone was crazy with little fear of death, and why the psychos and bosses respawned. An interesting way to bridge game design with story. But they probably would have abandoned that quickly as it meant the most simple stake for story writing; death, no longer applied.
I know i am late but to add to this is that a canon new u respawn system would kimda dumb from jack to not shut down. He tried to kill us but if the new u where canom this would mean he'd kill us but we woiöd just respawn until we kill him. So alone from that logic standpoint i'd say it should be only a gameplay mechanic but no canon
@@andreauster1997I'm also replying late, but I always saw it as him not really bothering to take you off the respawn list because of his arrogance and greed. If you die, he makes money. If you don't die, he's convinced you won't win anyway, so you're more of an annoyance than a threat, so whatever. Plus, he did hire you even if it was just to trick and kill you, maybe you got put on a list of Hyperion contractors that had respawning as a perk of working for the company. These are all just theories though. I'd personally assume everyone else in the Crimson Raiders was taken off the respawn list before he actually started his full takeover of Pandora just to make it easy to reduce resistance from the "evil bandits" that he saw as not even being human.
The pre sequel was the 1st borderlands I played. Which after playing it I knew I had to check out the rest of the borderlands. Now I love all the borderlands.
the whole Rhys being CEO of Atlas was explained in Tales from the borderlands, Handsome Jack had the deed to Atlas in his office, Rhys grabbed it before shit went down.
The new u stations are literally stated to be non-canon BY THEMSELVES! It's one of the respawn lines in Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep. Very common line. Anyone can go play it for themselves and hear it.
that should be obvious, new u's would make everything and every action worth nothing, roland can return, pierce can return, the entire military structure of atlas, handsome jack, all of those bandits, etc
The Lyuda/White Death thing is actually a galaxy brain Easter egg. The names are references to famous snipers Lyudmila Pavlichenko and Simo Hayha who were on opposing sides during WWII. The 2 snipers being on separate consoles is a reference both to WWII, but also the ongoing console war between Xbox and PlayStation
@@steamtasticvagabond474 from what I understand, on Xbox 360 it was the White Death, on the PS3 it was the Lyuda, and in the Handsome Collection on both Xbox One and PS4 it’s the Lyudmila.
There’s something that’s always bugged me about the ending of BL3. Ava asks if Tyreen is dead for real, and Lilith “gives it a hard maybe”. I’m sure this was just a joke, but I don’t like even the slightest hint of ambiguity in a character’s death. It plants the smallest seed of doubt, y’know?
I've always been worried they'll bring jack back and completely ruin his legacy, especially considering people's response to tiny Tina's wonderlands, it seems more likely they might do it to try and gather hype from players
"it was confirmed Maya would have died with or without Ava's inclusion" this doesn't really prove anything other than they intended for Maya to die in the plot, though. Ava, in the story as we received it, did influence the scenario and was a likely reason for escalating the encounter that got Maya killed. now, i'm sure there's some nuance you could argue about the story, but my comment here is about how the comment Epic made is kind of irrelevant, seeing as the point of contention is about how things happen within the story we got and not the writer's intent of killing off Maya regardless.
I don't think its a big deal that Ava got Maya killed or not. It bothers me that Ava comes out of nowhere in that mission. Am I supposed to believe that the girl somehow snuck by that many enemies without being seen fast enough to keep up with the Vault Hunter and Maya AND be in the room with the Rampager during the fight to watch the whole thing in person without getting hurt. That part is what is BS. It would have been better for her to be in the car (regardless of it getting blown up and respawning) and pop out right before the fight that to have her just appear and spout out her stupidity in that moment.
It felt like the writers knew they wrote mighty characters in all the games that lead up to 3, and felt overwhelmed maybe or something like that, a mix of can’t continue on doing justice for the characters and a dislike for the fan base. Not that the fan base matters too too much with games, but when you kill off the characters, change the art style, and provide a lack of depth for the new villains and (likely) new characters who will or won’t be sticking around. I wouldn’t be surprised if they involve the timekeeper eridian later on. I will be surprised if they don’t retcon the latest bits of plot, or at least time warp patch things up.
It didn't even register until this video, and to just further I thought he was still saying Pain and Terror until he literally said something about Pen Jillette
I feel like the massive wait and buildup of borderlands 3 hurt it when it finally came out. Kinda like the “Astroworld effect” where the buildup completely outshines the product
I completely agree dude. I was so excited for borderlands three initially, and the wait was honestly fun. Two days into the game I finished it and didn't really want to go back.
Pre-Sequel is just basically a HUGE Borderlands 2 DLC, it plays exactly the same but adds those jetpack thingies, and the Claptrap DLC for it was so good it's a bit gutting that they cancelled the rest of them.
People complain about how hard Voracidous is, while I think only true challenging raid boss is Grandma Flexington... Even Salvador can’t money shot his way outta this one...
To the ClapTrap bullet hole: I believe that the bullet hole is a reference to when Jack shot Claptrap in the Claptrap DLC in Bl:tps. The bullet hole is in the exact same place as in the DLC. The reason why the bullet hole isn't in-game is probably just because Gearbox forgot about it
41:37 I just got a voice line literally yesterday while farming the handsome sorcerer from the new u station. “Handsome hack wants to let you know, the New-U stations are not canon”
funny enough, if your paid attention to grandma torgue she clearly states she saw captain scarlet at one point, and it really wouldn't make sense to mention a character by name that we didn't know yet(also wattle gobbler dlc came out after scarlet). therefore she is definitely still alive.
Not only that, but she also says that captain scarlet fought you and said something along the lines of "it was the greatest fight she's ever had" - So it seems to practically guarantee she is alive after your meeting her yes. ---- I double checked and yes, if you go to the "Borderlands 2 Wattle Gobbler DLC Raid Boss Grandma Torgue?" video by 'MorninAfterKill' at 8:48 then you see the exact statment. It says she agreed she fought the vault hunter after grandma asked and she said the vault hunter was really good at fighting and won fair and square.
@@zanakanishi i thourougly hope to see her as new dlc some day, maybe appearing with rose. A notorious pirate captain and a cowboy samurai gangleader vs the vaulthunters would be legendary.
There are voice lines in the game talking about how Wilhelm was poisoned. When you are fighting him you can hear him say how something is wrong and someone made a mistake. It is very easy to hear if you just listen during the fight. He does say out loud something is wrong with him and someone made a mistake when getting him ready. I believe Jack also says in game he affected Wilhelm why else do you think you vaulthunters could have killed him if not even the last vault hunters could hurt him

@@BlackAxon it could have been cut but I thought there was a scene after he barrages sanctuary that he says something along the lines of “did you really think you losers could kill wiheilm when the last four vault hunters had to run away like cowards”

The funny thing about the bee conference call is that is shows that the developers of the game at one point, particularly early on, actually intended to have a balanced game in BL2. But eventually the scope of how broken the game just never set in for them at this point. Weapon merging was discovered as a bug, and then people realized you can perform the bug by just using Salvador's gunzerking, combining rocket launchers with other weapons to apply their huge damage to a higher firerate gun was found, which eventually evolved to its peak of the pimperhab(Later when those weapons were released with dlcs). B0re was discovered to be completely broken and bugged letting Zer0(And later Gaige with a similar skill) one shot bosses like bnk3r and even raid bosses. Gaige can give herself permenant super powerful shield regen. Eventually it become obvious that the game was too broken to fix, and they didn't bother. You can tell they gave up because at one point, nerfing Shield Amp damage(Usually the bee due to no shield charge cost on the amp damage) and multi pellet weapons was patched in the case of the Conference Call, for being too powerful. But you can still combine the bee with other multi-pellet weapons to regain the effect. Like a ricochet fibber. That you use on gaige. With 400 anarchy stacks, and infinite shield regen with the buck up glitch and the Bee shield. The sad part of this is that in giving up in making a balanced game, they decided OP levels are fine. When really the only viable way to play in OP10 is to abuse the fuck out of bugs. I mean gaige can't even max anarchy stacks hive bomb raid bosses with a bee shield anymore on op10 the resistances are so ridiculous. Good thing she can make herself immune with the buck up glitch i guess.
main issue with bl2 is uvhm is an absolute disaster. forcing people to slag everything is incredibly unfun and repetitive. it's one of the reasons why i think the pre sequel is a more fun game to max out on: it feels way more balanced and doesn't overstay its welcome
This thread is why I think BL2 is a tad overrated when compared to TPS and BL3. I think 3 is the best as far as gameplay, followed by TPS and then BL2.
I see your pimperhab combo and raise it with the pimp-cream. Moxxxi launcher that does about half the damage of the ahab but also heals you. Never have to switch out after finding that glitch. And if you run out of rockets then every pimpernel pellet gets money shot. Combine with a slag pimp and poof you're broken. First shot slags and the rest does triple damage and heals you.
about the vault hunters being evil, I figure that's kind of a shallow take on it i think one of the cool things about borderlands is how it subverts classic hero morality. the vault hunters are clearly not supposed to be good people, they are greedy and violent and many side quests have you do pretty shitty stuff to people. zane is literally an assassin and professional thief, for example. borderlands is more about letting you be amoral and not judging the player for doing video gamey stuff, like killing lots of people for money and loot
For the past borderlands I'd agree but damn in borderlands 3 it clearly feels like you play as the hero even though Zane and flak are literally a ex assassin and a murderous robot, and I hate it
@@solidsnakeshugecake i mean Flak is literally a homicidal maniac, and they try to make them a hero by having this whole "save the universe" generic doomsday plot, not to mention how they steamrolled the siren lore into oblivion, it's such a goddamn mess
@@solidsnakeshugecake I noticed this as early as Borderlands 2, in the first game Vault Hunters are just seen as fools hunting a myth, Pierce considers us a bit of a nuisance. Cut to the start of Borderlands 2 when we first get to Sanctuary and meet Reese, suddenly Vault Hunters are treated like Spartans are in the Halo games.
There are quite a few 'alternate' ways of Maya to die stories out there that coudld fit perfectly in the story. The unlock of the vault monster could initialy be prevented by Maya who sacrifice herself to hold back the planet, then Lillith does her thing. Another is she overdone her body using her powers, she slowely dying, bring Krieg back, give them their moment, she passes as she tells Ava she will be next. The whole problem (just like Roland or Birdie) is not the fact she would die, is the fact HOW she died. Ava first couldve grown into a likeable character (nobody likes her now), before Maya had to pass on. Sure some are mad about Maya dying, but majority is mad about how she had to die.
The Pre-Sequel had the most fun vault hunters to play with. If it got the same detailed skill trees as BL3, it would make it even better. Just the skill possibilities for claptrap alone.
Pretty cool to look back on these videos and see things like the "Assault on dragon keep 2" DLC getting scrapped early on, just to realize it's because it got a green light to be turned into its own entire game... They had no idea back then lmao.
I loved the presequel story, watching Jack descend into madness was great. Pickles annoyed the shit out of me though Also lasers, buttslamming, and cryo was great. The presequel had some good stuff.
His sister's mission " the other pickle"(something like it) where you save pickle's sister from being just like her brother - you get a fairly good shotgun, the boganella. Heads up, it talks smack to everyone. Censored like torgue.
Only thing I didn't like was EVERY DAMN MISSION had the same layout, go to your objective...oh wait it's actually broken/blocked by a shield, well now you gotta go 3 other places to fix it, at first it's hardly noticeable, but they do it in damn near every mission, towards the end it was just unbearable
No one talks about him because he is a moron and got what he deserved. Most of what he talked about was incorrect and speculation, and he profited off it, Robbing people blind. That in itself is shady as fuck and illegal.
I think I remember hearing Axton or Salvador mention new U stations in arms race and the other host quickly hushed them up about it, gave me a laugh when I heard it
Lyuda and white death are a reference to opposing snipers in WW2. Lyuda being Russian and white death being Finnish in the Finnish soviet war. That reference with white death exclusive to Xbox 360 and lyuda exclusive to PS4 was a reference to the console wars at the time.
I feel like iceberg videos are supposed to… explain the iceberg? I thought the idea was to explain it to people who didn’t already know, but the entire first ten minutes is just “you guys already know” and just acknowledging it’s existence. So far it feels like a series of inside jokes we aren’t being let in on. But the gameplay looks dope
Idk why he was so salty about it, these games r way less serious than a lot of shooters. Thats what makes the games so fun to me. They r full of cameos and references and jokes and they r all the better for it :)
Ava 100% got Maya killed, just because she would have died regardless in a different timeline or whatever, in our timeline Ava got maya killed. And then she proceeded to encourage tannis to go in front of a vault almost immediately after. Ava’s a villain
In a game a long long ago called "Blood" which Pitchford was involved in the main protagonist killed a train. The boss in The FlusterCluck is likely a nod to that .
I am surprised you didn’t bring up how Zer0 is likely a robot. Fl4k says that Zer0 is familiar when they meet. They both have numbers in their name. They both have the two fang skill. They also have the same hands with four fingers.
I don't think that makes him likely a robot. FL4K is likely familiar because they are both hunters, and if there's a hunter anyone in the Borderlands would know, it'd be Zer0. Besides, Zane also knows Zer0. Two fang is just like any other skill. Zane also has a two fang like ability to fire multiple shots. And numbers of fingers doesn't indicate if someone is a robot. The eridians have 4 fingers.
Correction: shams lowest absorb chance is 77%, not 1% 1% can only be acquired from a white rarity absorb shields with triple bandit parts Also, the sham on its own, isnt really rare, due to how easy the bunker farm is, and how it's a dedicated drop Now, for the dragons keep dlc, yea for now, new game coming out 2022, not a dlc, an entire new game
New-U isnt canon since every time someone talks with us after we beat a important boss, even if we die numerous times, they act like we killed it at first time. Besides that, all characters once playable and now dead dont return. Even in BL3 New-U jokes that they can bring us back at any time considering that we dont die in a custscene. About Rose being a Siren, the theory revolves around the fact that she has Core running through her veins and it kinda gives her the ability to strenghten her shots when flowing it into her gun. Her tattos are also marks of Core, as was said in the DLC that the more tattos you have inside the Devil Riders, higher your rank, and those tattos were made of Core. Besides that, she had control over the Ruiner (which, by the way, anyone would have if learned the song that her grandma teached to her mom, that teached to her), but everyone seems to forgive that both Rose and Ruiner were experiments of Jakobs with Core to (apparently) create a Siren and a Vault monster that would work under its control. Clearly she isnt a Siren And about no Invicibles for "over a year", thats not true. Borderlands 3 launched in september, Maliwan Takedown was launched on november, 2 months later. Of course it would be better to launch the game with a Invincible to fight, but telling that take over a year till we have one is a overstatement
I honestly love when youtubers talk about community moments as much as you did, it reminds us that we're all humans who share a passion and some real drama, sometimes hilariously dumb drama happened, and its not ALL about the games but the greater community.
I will never understand why you got that upset over a cameo in borderlands 3. It was entertaining and it fit well with the tone of the game if you ask me
I love the game but I don't like randy pitchford I feel like eventually he's just gonna turn the game into Fortnite and pay to win you can see the evolution of marketing throughout the games
Wasn't claptrap shot at the end of the claptastic voyage DLC? Would that explain the bullet hole? Because we know that frag-tp is the claptrap in bl2 from the scene after that DLC.
Frag-trap IS our claptrap. After the events of the claptastic adventure, he had the frag-trap programming removed as it was part of the h-source. Jack shot him, dumped him in frostbite glacier, and then bl2 starts some time later

Some minor additional factoids that are more in regards to Randy Pitchford himself, as he is no stranger to controversy: - It is alleged that in 2014 Randy accidently left a USB drive at a Texas restaurant the Borderlands dev team was eating at and the drive contained both sensitive personal documents related to Gearbox and very graphic pornography featuring an underage actress. Randy himself has stated the girl present in the video was of legal age and he had kept the video because it had a "magic trick" and Randy wanted to contact the actress to have her premiere on the cover of a magic magazine. - Randy Pitchford is singlehandedly responsible for modern video game commercials specifying if game footage is authentic or not, as he made several false claims during the development of Aliens: Colonel Marines that the prototype visuals and proposed game mechanics were in-game assets despite the game being in development hell. - Claptrap's original voice actor David Eddings was physically assaulted by Randy Pitchford at the 2017 GDC due to Eddings mentioning both the alleged Gearbox buyout as well as the lawsuit that publicized the controversial USB drive, which was submitted by ex-Gearbox lawyer Wade Callender. Upon hearing these claims Randy had violently shoved Eddings and was subsequently fired after the GDC conference, explaining why Claptrap's voice is altered in Borderlands 3. - In 2019 Randy was accused of monetary theft in as much as $12M as an advance upon royalties. He essentially pocketed money intended for Gearbox.
The USB of the 'barely legal' cam girl 'squirting' that was left at a Medieval Times restaurant was admitted to by Randy himself as a guest on a magic show podcast. Someone needs to tell Randy, "It's not a magic trick, it's just pee." Speaking about Aliens: Colonial Marines, the funniest factoid is that the AI for the Aliens was broken for years until someone discovered it was due to a missing letter 'a' in a single line of code.
In the arms race DLC, one of the lines that can play from Axton has something to do with new you stations, and then Salvador says that he wasn't supposed to mention that.
There's a side mission in BL2 called "[unalive] Yourself" that Jack gives you, knowing full well the New-U (that he owns and controls) will revive you. Might not be canon, but fucking hilarious.
One of the revival lines also references the plot of SOMA, "Hyperion suggests that you do not think about the fact that this is only a digital reconstruction of your original body, which died the first time you respawned. Do NOT think about this!"
Dude, thank you for this video. It's fantastic. This brought back so many good and pain inducing memories. I miss the hype around the discovery and leaks of the Commander Lilith DLC, and then the rumors about BL3 releasing. You made me relive the pain of wanting Luxy's Space Adventure so badly... I also wanted to comment that Gearbox had copyrighted the name "Borderworlds" at some point before BL3's release. That's why the community thought that BL3 would be called Borderworlds.

Aurelia denies being a Siren outright in an Echo Log in the mission where you fight her. She says it's skill and nanobots. The Seventh Siren (Phase Leech) was a power locked in the vault where Typhon DeLeon and his wife conceived their twins. It definitely exists, and is now out in the world.
Well, we got our Dragons Keep 2. Wonderlands is exactly what you described. So, it's great to know that wonderlands only came to be because of the unused assets from dragons keep.
Captain Scarlett is alive, if you listen to Grandma Flexingtons story, at one point she mentions how she ran into Scarlett after her fight with the Vault Hunter
I agree on the lack of conventional raid bosses. I think that no modern Looter Shooter should launch without at least 1 superboss/raid type enemy. And in the case of BL3 they could just have made us play through all the trials once to unlock a new map that holds a royal rumble style raid boss fight against much stronger and tankier versions of the trial bosses with us fighting multiple of them at once. Easy enough to make, good enough to enjoy.
Clap trap was shot at the end of Claptastic voyage by jack because he wanted to kill all claptraps .hahaha. Not sure how you know all this stuff but not that because it was a cut scene at the end of the dlc in the presequel XD

Claptrap is shot by Jack in the end of presequel when he destroys all the cl4pt units and Hyperion dumps claptrap and all the other units into a snowy plain where as a lone survivor he meets sir hammerlock and that's where he meets the vault hunters at the start of bl2

A thing I accidentally found: On Xbox360 and PS3, if you start split-screen and disable it, it turns VSync off and the game plays with an uncapped framerate. It doesn't play 60fps (unless you look at the sky), but you'll definitely notice a difference.
Githion's heart was constantly mentioned in the DLC..... never anything about Githion, only his/her/it's heart, so I honestly wasnt expecting a giant monster w/ a hole in it's chest, honestly expected a repeat of Hammerlock's BL2 DLC.... where the final boss falls over and kills himself

I would like to disagree with your opinion on the Heart. While I will agree that as the Heart, as a Vault Monster, is a dissappointment, I feel that it fits from a STORYLINE point of view. Remember that the BL3 Hammerlock DLC is very Lovecraftian, and the Big Monster in a Lovecraft story is never really seen directly.
1:09:37 this is a reference to when Claptrap got shot during the end cutscene of the Claptrap DLC in the Pre Sequel. If you go back and watch it, the bullet holes are in the same place.
1:09:00 - Claptrap was shot in Presequel, however Borderlands 2 claptrap had no bullet wound; so for Borderlands 3, Gearbox updated Claptrap with the bullet wound. So fan theory to justify voice actor switch, the bullet wound hit claptraps voice components.

💯
Killing off Maya is what makes kreigs decisions so heartfelt

Tiny Tina's LEFT eye and movement is bugged, but they left it in because it's funny
Claptrap being shot was done by Jack at the end of the Pre-Sequel, same spot too. That led into Borderlands 2.
about the vault hunters being evil, I figure that's kind of a shallow take on it
i think one of the cool things about borderlands is how it subverts classic hero morality. the vault hunters are clearly not supposed to be good people, they are greedy and violent and many side quests have you do pretty shitty stuff to people. zane is literally an assassin and professional thief, for example. borderlands is more about letting you be amoral and not judging the player for doing video gamey stuff, like killing lots of people for money and loot
Kill or be killed

Besides that, she had control over the Ruiner (which, by the way, anyone would have if learned the song that her grandma teached to her mom, that teached to her), but everyone seems to forgive that both Rose and Ruiner were experiments of Jakobs with Core to (apparently) create a Siren and a Vault monster that would work under its control. im in the same boat but i just decimated borderlands 2 and picked 3 up when in launched never farmed bosses until i went to run back through the map and bewm boom were waiting for me
Some minor additional factoids that are more in regards to Randy Pitchford himself, as he is no stranger to controversy:
- It is alleged that in 2014 Randy accidently left a USB drive at a Texas restaurant the Borderlands dev team was eating at and the drive contained both sensitive personal documents related to Gearbox and very graphic pornography featuring an underage actress.
41:34 This entry referes to a pamphlet in the pre sequel that says "The Non-Canon Museum: New-U Stations! Skill Points! Plot inconsictencies!"
Jack was a child abuser way before tps, he abused Angel for years. He was never a good guy. Just another monster in a universe full of them.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Noooo I'm so late but seeing as TPS is hands down my favorite borderlands game, Joltz' video about Luxys space adventure left me crushed because we weren't getting the dlc. RIP 2K Australia :/
@@KREAM-2003 Luxy's Space Adventure seemed to live on in memory! The premise of the DLC was reused a lot throughout other DLCs, it felt like. Most notably the Commander Lilith DLC.
@@5h4de4 that is fair, I haven't touched borderlands 2 since the fight for sanctuary came out so I had totally forgotten about the "spore zombie" enemies (sorry for lack of better term lmao). Even tho it still lived on through the fight for sanctuary my heart continues to ache for TPS :(:
Aurelia denies being a Siren outright in an Echo Log in the mission where you fight her. She says it's skill and nanobots.
The Seventh Siren (Phase Leech) was a power locked in the vault where Typhon DeLeon and his wife conceived their twins. It definitely exists, and is now out in the world.
Honestly i really like pain and terror in borderlands 3 lol. Also in the end of dlc6, its confirmed lilith is alive.
Well, we got our Dragons Keep 2. Wonderlands is exactly what you described. So, it's great to know that wonderlands only came to be because of the unused assets from dragons keep.
I'm pretty sure it was just supposed to be a dlc. Then they just kept adding and adding to it making it a game
Evil Smasher glitch was hands down my favorite thing in borderlands history. Was devastated when they patched it.
Nice pfp
Clap trap was shot at the end of Claptastic voyage by jack because he wanted to kill all claptraps .hahaha. Not sure how you know all this stuff but not that because it was a cut scene at the end of the dlc in the presequel XD
I love the borderlands series, and its hilarious because i got bl2 for christmas, my dad thought i asked for it despite never knowing it existed, worked out lol
I lucked out with the vip service by buying the cult of the vault shirt from Spencer's, the lady at the desk didn't understand how the points cards worked and it was the last day for the event so she gave me 10 cards. I bought like 3 or 4 heads.
Claptrap is shot by Jack in the end of presequel when he destroys all the cl4pt units and Hyperion dumps claptrap and all the other units into a snowy plain where as a lone survivor he meets sir hammerlock and that's where he meets the vault hunters at the start of bl2
Earl ate eridium and now eats everything….the destroyer eats stars……”strange”
BL3 extra elements that would have been a good unique or legendary
Vampirism
Core
Ghost
Terror
Idea: Head Grenade, a grenade that does headshots and crits
In the happy together trailer for bl3, mount jackmore was in the background.
Also, there is dialogue for a cut mission that had mount jackmore as a map.
Also you should have brought up the SupMatto saga, as well as scooper ( the cut son of scooter)
Aurelia isn't a siren. There's an audio log where she tells one of the twins that it's an implant.
Zane being Jack's Doppelganger is cool. But how about Zane is Wilhelm and the one that the Bl2 Vault Hunters killed was his doppelganger?
?
@@lorddeathicasjr.396 I'm as confused as you are friendo
@@MilestheDirtyMindedGoblin2099 same
Its possible for the Wilhelm to be a doppelganger because when you see his corpse its just an engineer in a big suit
Hidden in the game code was a line from Jack talking about poisoning Wilhelm so the vault hunters could actually kill him
U guy do realize that fresh-stick sold Tiny Tina's parents to hyperion for Slag testing.
Yeah, I really can't imagine how we would fight him, considering that his body takes up 90% of some of the dlc's locations
@@Loderyod true, could have been a case of "we invade it's head and shoot at it's brain while it summons minions to defend it" but hey... that would have been the lazy path lol
I choose to believe that jackenstein was the final boss
I would like to disagree with your opinion on the Heart. While I will agree that as the Heart, as a Vault Monster, is a dissappointment, I feel that it fits from a STORYLINE point of view. Remember that the BL3 Hammerlock DLC is very Lovecraftian, and the Big Monster in a Lovecraft story is never really seen directly.
In Eden six before you fight the anointed the slot machines show a red rarity reward. Spent millions but didn't get one yet
"The white death", was a Finnish sniper named Simo Hayha. He was a crack shot known for ridiculous accuracy and K/D
You don’t have a K/D in real life.
@@puttputt524 yes you do
@@puttputt524 everyone does have one lmao
K/D hahaha wtf
1:09:37 this is a reference to when Claptrap got shot during the end cutscene of the Claptrap DLC in the Pre Sequel. If you go back and watch it, the bullet holes are in the same place.
I cant tell if he's actually being serious or if this is one giant shitpost
Pretty sure he was, mainly in and the deaths arent canon joke op100
No way he could be serious.
"Not one of you who's played BL2 hasn't farmed fleshstick" I've literally never heard of fleshstick and I have about three hundred hours in bl2
How tho. So you have never even had the tea cup pistol before? That thing shreds!
From memory here: Flesh Stick is part of the Cordially Invited quest line from Tina's house. Relevant to the Iceberg video, Im pretty sure audio logs reveal (not going to spoil too hard,) flesh stick captured Tina's parents which led to their death.
@@RBradenG that explains it. I don't like Tina, so involve her as little as possible
the weird thing is, i don't recall farming 'him'.
i'd purposely die to get dozens of waves of killing his allies for a little bit of a level boost, maybe, but not strictly 'him'.
I remember him but didn’t farm him cuz I hate the Tina map
Rose’s eyes glowed green in that DLC. There’s no way she’s NOT a siren. And it was in a cutscene so, canon 😂
Lol they told that Wonderlands would have melee weapons, waiting to see if Roses sword is playable there
That’s pretty funny Roland is Kevin hart two years later 😂😂
