There's some kinda fascination with welding videos. My eyes burn from just watching the arc, and these guys stare right directly into it
He have those pakistani kiroshi optic implants

Cant imagine one day just waking up an going "I think ill add a second set of steer axels because I can".
It’s actually somewhat common in some states here in the United States, it depends on how much weight is allowed per axle., sometimes the laws make this almost a necessity, in order to utilize the trucks gvw

No i jeszcze jedno, wiedza techniczna.
Screw sanding the paint and welding with protection! Haha, nice work!
All I could think of was the guy in the beanie copping a sledge hammer to the head. But I guess if you can weld and grind without any eye protection, then no big deal.
loving the videos. keep it going. from UK.
I love the human drill press
It's a miracle the welds would hold through the layers of paint on the frame. Good place to never drive.
You wouldn’t survive over there and you obviously haven’t seen how they drive on their roads they have no fear.
Love the very heavy leather gloves while using the "drill press". No doubt the metal drill has 240v on its case. It's the only time you see any kind of PPE.
Only negative plums care.
Lol

I guess the 'fast forward' of the video makes this looks even more 'crazy' * than it is. I hope Part 2 comes along soon.
* Crazy is meant with polite and humour. :)
Part two will be replacing the frame because they broke it in half.
@@Happy357mag Please excuse me for laughing at that,...oh my, more work then.

I’ve heard of safety squints, but this dude just seems to welcome the flash burn? I’m wondering if there is something different about the welders on their electrical grid, that just don’t produce a flash burn like here in the United States, I’ve seen guys not even welding get burned., this dude is looking directly at it., but then again he isn’t even cleaning the paint off before welding steering component to a frame?? We see these guys get shit done, but we also never see how long it works for??
I mean, there's a reason way more people die on these roads

Im guessing that this is all DOT approved
Very good video

Amazing work. 👍

The second steer axle should have less angle than the front axle. This steer arrangement doesn't meet Ackerman geometry. It will drag the tires when turning.
You think they care man they just need to get down to road that’s all
They do not care about " peanuts" like this. 60 or 70 t truck weight are more an argument than worn down tyres quicker than with ackermann geometrie. I bet most them do not know in math the difference of circle and cube
What's all the crap on the front of these trucks, where a normal front bumper would be?
Ira navarroooooo
More wheels, more capacity, more load... Old engine. Old gearbox. Old frame... Everything was done by eye. Such an artistic creation. If you need spare parts, you can't buy them in any shop.
Even in the first world, we make custom parts for conversions. Also, the frame isn't old, well, not as old as the as the rest of the components.
Don't be wrong, the engine, transmissions, and every bits and pieces of the truck is still in stock for decades because there is hundreds of thousands of them in the road, spread across Indonesia, Pakistan, Malaysia, Thailand Philipine, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Kenya, and some other countries. So, you never run out of Japanese truck's spare parts.
@@omartadashi3354 1.
There is no spare parts for this mod. Most of these elements were made by hand for this one single truck. So this truck is an "art piece".
I don't care about availability of spare parts. But whole truck was not made for such loads and everything in it can breake in any moment due to overload. But your idea is - if something breakes, replace it. We got a lot of it. And you don't care why it breakes.
@@blazeykk well, in my point of view, from the factory in Japan, that Hino Ranger truck aren't built for 40+ tons of loads (there is a truck for 40+ tons from Hino, which is called Super Dolphin and Super Dolphin Profia, but they are expensive even though second hand because it is a heavy-duty truck). But, because the condition, they need to overload because the cost of operation is higher than the payment of the drivers, so they search more loads for the money in order to make them a living with their family.
And because of that, they had to multiple layering the original chassis and make more layer of the leaf spring suspension so the axle is not brutally tortured compared to standard set up from factory.
I say, it's not an art piece because the leaf springs are made locally in Pakistan. There's a video on it.
The chassis is from factory in Japan, a single layer. Which initially can handle around 25 tons (with stock suspension, stock torque rod, etc.). But they triple layer it with thinner inside layer than the middle (original) and slightly thin outside layer to improve the strength under load and also to withstand the rotten roads.
The chassis's steel is also produced and sold locally in Pakistan. So, those blokes are just add a bit of length behind the older one.
The rear suspension hinges and mountings are actually a trailer suspension mountings and hinges.
They just source the parts and assemble it.
The only art piece of the truck is the decoration.
Even factory new they fix or make a new part, you will never see a truck setting because something is on backorder.@@blazeykk
guessing u don't remove paint before welding in Stan

Nice 🎉🎉🎉
Turning radius of the second wheel must be lesser than the front one. If not due to high friction second tyre wears fastly.
can those welds withstand the extreme load and pressure?
Nice.

I admire their workmanship but I can't believe how they take their eyesight for granted. Welding and cutting with no glasses whatsoever. USA OSHA inspector would fall over Dead with a heart attack LOL
Something about growing up in an area where if you can't solve problems, adapt, and be self sufficient you starve to death that makes them great engineers, westerners see a problem these people see a solution, what Westerners consider undoable and need to get someone else to do it these guys think what have we got that we can repurpose and can we avoid spending any money, it's all about wasting nothing and doing everything your self. .
total respect to them. love the pressure pivot for the drilling of the 2-inch steel plate,
I see comments like yours a lot. You think western people don't have mom and pop shops trying to make a living working with their hands.

What a great idea. All the other components were specified with just that in mind...40 years ago 😮
Also, twin steer axles are only used on cranes and recovery vehicles. Because...they can never get the center of gravity forward enough for that added axle to make any difference.
I drove 8 wheelers in this configuration the UK for many years usually tippers and roll on rolll off (hook loaders ) but we use them with flatbeds, curtainsiders and plant and machinery transport , before the mid 60s many companys preffered to operate 8 wheelers oftern coupled with a 4 wheel drag as due to the then weight restrictions it was more cost efective than running artics , when i started driving in the 70s an 8 wheeler could operate at 30 tonnes this was changed in the late 80s to 32 tonnes
I still run 36 8 x 4 tippers all scanias would have nothing else
Don't talk these untrue things. There were millions of conventionel 4 axle trucks for all kinds of load. Whst do you think there axles were planned bye engineers and constructors?
Very impressive 👍

I thought the twin steer was driven axles for traction.
Correct. Used only on cementere, cranes and rotators.
As short as that frame is it will likely be a cement mixer truck and can't even be overloaded.@@thefreedomguyuk
I believe that these truks will not last. All measures are made with no precision instruments and in the midle of dust and rust.

Those guys are only making pennies per day to build a better truck. I watch those Packs do lots of nice work. The bosses truck on over looking spiffy.
Yes just Imagine, they would be doing the same.
How long are those welds thru the paint supposed to hold anything for???
Which welds?
@@wecanbreathinspace38 The spring perches to the frame. Granted they do drill and put bolts in towards the end.

about as long as the guy welding them will be able to see for

uth Africa, any one who add extra axle?
3´ world country showing why they are a´ 3 world country
Ok ok, they don" t have the money for expensive tools. Thats a fact, but they can think before doing things. One is making some drwaings and thinings of geometrie and setzing points next thung is grinding of the psint before welding. Next thing is wearing some little protecrion gear like at least glases. Nothing . Only redneck doing
I typed this on my keys board
