I love watching this channel, the guys work hard and nothing seems to phase them! Can you just imagine what it would be like if this happens in your own country. In the UK we would have the police attend to control the traffic flow, the local authority would be assessing any damage to the road and get things moving for the repair of the road, either one or two at the most recovery agents would attend to recover the truck to a repair centre for assessment of repair needed and parts required., but the parts manager would come back and report the parts are an order only. And would take a week for them to arrive. The vehicle mechanics would complain that their tools are metric and struggled get sockets to fit, then even trying to get the bolts undone the pneumatic power tools would find it difficult to get the fixings undone. The conclusion that it seems to be more cost effective and quicker than in the UK. Great job guys, you did a excellent job👍👍👍👍👍
Cost effective and quick is on one part of the diagram, on the other side you find repair quality and safety. The conclusion one could draw from this video is that it would have been done to an higher standard in the UK, the repair would have lasted way longer and would not jeopardise the lifes of fellow motorist going down the road together with an relativly heavy truck with a welded steering arm and main leafsprings. There is a reason why things has changed in the west for the better, Thanks to many of these things the avarage life expectancy is 20 years higher in the UK then in Pakistan. But... its still an impressive job, alot of hard work with simple tools in poor weather conditions.

@@MarcoAAOrtiz Sure as safety is nonexistent no castle nuts/cotter pins, welding steering components and alignments. Let's not forget the big one, overloading to the point of failure...
I thought the same thing. The bracing in the spring eyes works but it puts stresses on the spring in different places. It’s good enough to use till they get new springs and get to a place where they can Jack up the truck and slip in a new mainspring. Not a big deal now. The bracing on the steering arms would work also but they need inspected periodically. It probably drives better than it had in a while.
I don't know the way things are heading in the states we won't be far from this. When you need something to fix something things are getting harder to find.

The conditions they worked in, The tools and Situation they worked in and actually completed the job is amazing. Grant you it probably was not the Best Job done but Cmon man give credit to where Credit is due. Also wearing Sandals and working with Heavy Steel is just a point to show you that these Gentlemen knew the job had to get done. Must Respect for these Guys. Could you just imagine if they had the Correct tools, Place and better Environment what they could do. Great Job Gentleman.
They are not negative comments!! The truck is totally worn out after years of mistreatment and overloading. How would you feel if this heap of scrap collided with your car?
It reminds me of the time i split a hub of my tandem bale trailer on the bridge in town.... similar job, just i pulled it off the bridge to prevent getting a fine from the road authorities... which these guys apparently dont have.... It was the 2nd time a hub split, and i also had a tire blowout, so despite having a spare bogie, i scrapped it and replaced a heavier tandem under it. But indeed, a 2nd time allways goes faster 😅
I have a TREMENDOUS amount of respect for what they go through and to see how the rix ANYTHING with the most minimal...really makes me feel so ungrateful.. God bless!
It reminds me of when I was Towing a Ford Expedition, from Jacksonville to central fl. In a rollback. About 2 hours away from home, the truck this wobbling vibration at 70 mph, so I immediately pulled over. I looked around, and found out that I had one wheel stud left on each side in the back., the nuts were backed all the way off on those last two! Yep, all four back wheels just about came off, with a 5,000 lb truck on the back, and doing 70 mph! Well, I'm on the side of I-95 with a 5000 lb car on the back of my rollback, seven broken wheel studs on each side of the truck. So, I put my spare tire and rim under the t-bar, Tilted the hydraulic bed, and that picked all four back wheels up off the ground. Then I use my hydraulic jack to lift up the front end, pulled both front wheels off, knocked out four of the wheel studs on each side of the front of the truck, and with four studs on each front wheel, i put the front wheels back on. I went to the back with my eight new studs, put four studs on each hub, that gave me five studs on each wheel set. Tightened everything up, tilted it back down, and proceeded to drive, with the 5,000 lb truck on the back, all the way back to Melbourne with no problem at all. It was an hour, and a whole lot of work. But it was still better than waiting three or more hours for a record that would be able to pull both vehicles back. It would probably cost a thousand bucks or so, to do so. Changing will set of wheel studs would cost like $100. Yup. my way was better😎👍
The moral of the story is, make sure the shop that's changing your four back tires, actually impacts the tires back on correctly! That's right, we just had four new tires put on the back of the truck, and this happened the very next day.
Well, maybe, maybe not. You probably risked $10,000 in damage at about a 10% chance. So if you kept on doing this, you'd average out a cost of $1000, 9 times success and one failure. About the same either way although calling for a tow wouldn't open you up to tickets or manslaughter charges.
I watched this with fellow feeling. Back in the 1960s my wife and I were travelling to Istanbul in an old Fiat Topolino. Near the top of the Cakor Pass in Montenegro a rear spring broke. Narrow unmadeup road, precipice drop one side and a sheer cliff on the other. Luckily the break was about six inches from the end and I was able to lay a spare strong tyre lever along the leaf and clamp it in place with some bolts and pieces of Dexion. Amazingly this lasted out of the mountains, all around Greece and on to Istanbul. I love these Pakistan repair videos.

In 3 world countries ANYTHING is acceptable and to hold till the next bump in the road.
You are right. But in my opinion they dont have access to spare parts and the truck is in the middle of road.... they are doing their best.
@@MarcoAAOrtiz Sure as safety is nonexistent no castle nuts/cotter pins, welding steering components and alignments. Let's not forget the big one, overloading to the point of failure...
@@ginog5037 Yeah. They go for it.
A+++ master mechanics and they recycle parts rather than run to the auto parts store! What a terrific repair crew!!

we can't beat those men .. really hard workers
imagine the amount of strokes would be had from ohsa and d.o.t. here in north america? absolutely love the brick safety cones
I remember the day well i realized the gay osha officer have interest in me then i quit my job as soon as possible.
Someone should share this on one of the us state highway patrol Facebook pages.
That would be interesting to see
I don't know the way things are heading in the states we won't be far from this. When you need something to fix something things are getting harder to find.
The nice man from OSHA would wet his pants and then faint if he happened on this going on in the middle of traffic...
Same in Australia,we have to slow down to 40 ks an hour in roadwork zones even if no one is on site. This would be a road closure with many flashing red and blue lights
I can't believe my eyes ?!!
In middle of the road on the rain and no power tools or crane ?!!!
Mashallah 🙏👍🌺
Wow, what a nightmare situation. Plus the crappy weather and the traffic. Good to see many people helping.
Great Craftsman,mechanic,working on the road,mobile repair.get it done.👏👍
Молодчаги ! Всегда много постоянных клиентов ! :)
The amount of extra steel on those trucks for all that decoration no wonder they fall apart ..just incredible

Спасибо тому кто снимал,молодец!
Glad to see somebody that's not overtightening everything with air wrenches and rounding the nuts with vise grips.
Aivan mahtavia, ja kunnioitettavia huippumiehiä 👏

As usual love the almost choreographed teamwork.
Well done guys!
These people would become financially wealthy in America for how hard and skilled they are real shit …. Man they play the hand they’re dealt with good I respect it
In Pakistan there's no thing as a write off just fix and repair. Respect to the mechanics
In Pakistan you dont go to repair shop, repair shop comes to you 😄
😂😂🤞
I take my hat off to these workers because with fairly rudimentary means, they were able to straighten and
putting a multi-tonne truck back on wheels,
All the Negative comments from all of the Certified TH-cam Mechanics are amazing. I give these Gentlemen a “Tip of the cap” to them.
Thank you so much 😊
They are not negative comments!! The truck is totally worn out after years of mistreatment and overloading. How would you feel if this heap of scrap collided with your car?

Changing the steering axle In the middle of the road, w no power tools, in the rain, like it's absolutely nothing!!!! Not their first day
It reminds me of the time i split a hub of my tandem bale trailer on the bridge in town.... similar job, just i pulled it off the bridge to prevent getting a fine from the road authorities... which these guys apparently dont have....
It was the 2nd time a hub split, and i also had a tire blowout, so despite having a spare bogie, i scrapped it and replaced a heavier tandem under it. But indeed, a 2nd time allways goes faster 😅
They should take the truck out of the way....
if only the truck wasn't 1. over loaded. 2. poorly maintained. 3. bodged the time before

I feel like that bottle jack needs some new plunger seals, he must have pumped that thing a thousand times!
they are made of bits of leather theres videos of them rebuilding the jacks they buy almost every broken then fix it to use it
