When I was ~13, (I’m 18 now) there was an electric blue Outerlimits dry docked for a year at the marina my dad kept his boat at. For two whole summers, every time he would fill up on gas, me, my brother, cousins and/or friends would walk all around around the damn thing, staring at it.
Watching that guy get so excited during acceleration was priceless and made this video worth watching! That boat is ridiculously incredible. I hope to luck up one day and just get to sit in the passenger seat for a ride.
One time I opened the throttle wide open on my 1965 wooden 28 foot Tollycraft Voyager. The Perkins 4107 was guzzling 1.5 gallons of diesel per hour. I actually saw 10.5 mph on the GPS but the tide was going out around 2 mph so that helped. We got there an hour later and ate BBQ chicken from the Magma grill. This Outer Limits burned more fuel 2 minutes after he started the Port engine than we did the whole day. We caught a legal sturgeon, too.
I remember years ago when Steve Curtis was a throttle man when he was a world champion the boat had twin Lambo V12 engines from the Muira great to see Steve still enjoying racing boats keep going Steve our our hero
Bravo Steve and Maurizio👏🏽👏🏽. I could nearly feel the speed through my screen with Maurizio's charismatic commentary. Also I'm getting Lamborghini Miura vibes with that tapered rear end.
Never really thought of it before but the water is one the last places of pure freedom! And I've always loved fast cars and bikes but truthfully a fast boat or jet ski are the machines to have pure fun and freedom on without the cost of breaking laws 😂
I have a buddy with a 35’ Checkmate that will hit 75 mph and that speed on water shakes on my nerves. Especially if it hits a wake and gets air. 165 is insane!
ECCELLENTE.. 😍😍
Siamo a livelli inimmaginabili, estasi ed orgasmo adrenalinico puro, velocità fantascientifiche per qualsiasi "normale" diportista ! Imbarcazione stupenda, punto 💖 E come sempre grazie a Maurizio e THE BOAT SHOW 😉
THE THING THAT PISSES ME OFF ABOUT STEVE CURTIS IS THAT HE IS A 8 TIMES WORLD CHAMPION AND YET IN ENGLAND, HE IS UNKNOWN SAME FOR STEVE WEBSTER 10 TIMES SIDECAR WORLD CHAMPION.
I can’t speak or understand what the gentleman was saying, but with the excitement in his expression and tone of his commentary, you don’t need to understand...! What an amazing boat. Beats my tinny with one of those “temperamental “ outboards on back!!
Max P He mentions the autobahn. But, he’s correct. Even the autobahn has restrictions and the sections where you can go wide open have diminished over the years.
This is the type of guy i would leave a massive tip for if i was buying a boat from him.. Cus you will get what you want/need plus his passion says it all.. forza italia !! Forza the boat show!
COMPLIMENTI
Wow what a machine. I had a hustler go fast in Rhode Island back in the late 90s and Outerlumits boats were the Ferrari of boats at that time. Nice to see them continuing to build some of the most sexy boats.
The damn warranty would expire before I made the first payment! Then again...if you can afford this boat, you don't really care about the cost to rebuild the motors after every poker run!

I love Maurizio as a host, even though I don't speak any Italian it spices up the videos and gives them the Italian flare that I really enjoy
I dont speak italian but for some reason i can understand 90% of what he is saying since it sounds extremely similar to castellano.
Jonathan Cabanas There’s something called “Romance languages”, you know...
His excitement really adds to the video.
Childish
@@GabrieleCripezzi cool
"Centosessantacinque miglia per'oraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" Maurizio needs to change his pants. Love it! Wish I was there.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Italians 🤷♂️...
The sounds of a man loving his job.
Do you blame him
@@Thefreakyfreek No, I envy him.
Outstanding! Love him!
Seems like a nice guy but I kinda wish he'd shut up and let me hear the craft
Amen to that!!😆😆
Wow what a blessing
I think I enjoyed Maurizio's pure, unbridled joy at going so fast even more than the amazing boat itself!!
I'm french but this guy speak so clearly i can understand everything. Take care neighbours
hahaha same here !
Maybe it is the dialect?
@@ceboz wtf
@@niilespunkari8832 no, it is a perfect italian.
What a machine. It's so sorted out and refined. It's like the Bugatti of fast boats. Sure, other boats are fast, but this looks effortless.
Wow. I never knew I needed one of these.
YOU DON’T
Same till I realized even if I could afford one I’d go broke fueling it up for each run 😂😂
I don’t understand the value of this beautiful machine. Please translate in to canoe units (ie cost of one canoe). That’s really my speed!
@@POTUS495 yes, you do.
Ditto!
When you absolutely positively have to show a proper fast boat being fast, accept no substitute......Curtis for all your speed needs.
The back of the boat looks like a Lamborghini Aventador.
Ah oui je pensais la même chose! C'est la Lamborghini des mers
As soon as I saw that back I started looking in the comments 😭
They have two mti lambo boats a green one and a yellow one
Which is what the MTI 48 is based off of.
Grave
I didn’t even realise my passion for boats til I watched this....
Love it! I bet Maurizio had a smile for two days after this run. Amazing!!
I love this guy. He definitely loves his job. And the I love the Italian uneven though I’m not fluent!
Agree his Spanish is good

Nice to hear your English Maurizio!
You are our favorite presenter, even though I don't speak Italian.
Watching that guy get so excited during acceleration was priceless and made this video worth watching! That boat is ridiculously incredible. I hope to luck up one day and just get to sit in the passenger seat for a ride.
How many people here don’t speak any Italian but found this bloke as, if not more, charismatic than any English boat journalists
I DON'T SPEAK ITALIAN BUT I UNDERSTAND 80% OF IT.
Cross between lambo aventodor and lagoon cat 😂
I had no idea what most his words were but I couldn’t help but listen!
Sono senza parole... CHE SPETTACOLO!!!

What a fantastic presenter. I love watching him and when I win the lotto I’m going to meet up with him and buy boats. 👍

Amazing video, Maurizio! Riding 100mph in a boat feels like 200mph in a car... can't imagine what it feels like to go over 150mph on water.

Actually, the speed limit inside Biscayne Bay is 35mph… wildly illegal where they were doing 150+mph.
The last place of pure freedom is also German Autobahn! ;-)
Maurizio. Pure enthusiasm and love. Cold listen to him for hours
Really? I had to turn it off he was so annoying
Maurizio could be a spokesman for Mercury Racing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a Boat...
Loved the fact this was all done in Italian, made it more exciting. But damn I want that boat...
That stoke is legendary!
Servizio emozionante!!! Maurizio sei riuscito a trasmettere l’emozione del momento 💪🏻. Bellissimo, grazie e complimenti !

The sound of those Mercury's ---------- awesome !!!!
That is hauling mail in that thing. Gorgeous and extremely well crafted. Raw Power and Speed
$5000 spent on fuel and not a single fish caught lol.
I thought I was the only one that thought like this.
bravoboy123 if you can’t afford the fuel you can’t afford that boat, gas NO PROBLEM FOR THE RICH.
Intelligent Thanos that costs many times more than a sports car and can only go 185😐
damn fish are fast as fuck these days ! i remember catching them in a row boat
The fish caught on that boat dont get pan fried but they get eaten out raw😂

Wow!!She's a beauty. What a joy. The color scheme and that dash is amazing.
The film guy in the backseat: shit not again, I just put my hair back in order from the last trip, and all I have is this stupid little waist belt!
She skates so effortlessly across the water. Wow. Beautiful vessel.

Wonderful boat, I'd love one if I was a ultra rich business dude or famous actor....
Molto interessante e coinvolgente . Bravi !
The thing with the cars isnt absolutely right. If you live in Germany like me you can run your car at a autobahn if there is no construction site😂
Max P He mentions the autobahn. But, he’s correct. Even the autobahn has restrictions and the sections where you can go wide open have diminished over the years.
Michael Godsey He is right if you can afford these boats they are reaching incredible speeds.

I think Ferrari will start building boats like this, seeing how they can’t build a proper F1 car
LMAOOOOO. Didnt expect to see this here
This guy made the video so much more enjoyable haha
He never showed us the galley and the cabins.
Don’t think it has any...
Just storage and electronics with sedeck up front and batteries/ generator/ and ac in the back
No galley or cabins there...only stalls for all the horses!
WhiteGangster400 you’re not good at sensing sarcasm
Because there aren't any. Only space for fuel tanks....
With only 10H of warranty por engine... You need to make service to the engines every time to turn off the engines...!!!
10 hours at max rpm...
That's at least a year probably more for the conservative.
Mattia Taddei *Maximum hours for refresh at 1550 mode is 25 hours; a total of 100 hours when combined with 1350 mode run time.
