There is no ban/restriction in Islam on Muslim women praying in Masjids as long as there are separate and equal facilities. The greatest masjids of Makkah and Madinah are the best examples. However in daily situation it is better that women pray at home due to the practical reason that it is not possible for a woman as a homemaker and mother to visit the masjid five times a day. But for men, praying in Masjid is better and highly recommended. Many masjids do not have the space to provide separate facility for women prayer. So they arrange only for men praying area. And we muslim women prefer praying at home by choice. So I request the BJP spokespersons not try to speak on our behalf.
