As a South African born into apartheid and having been subjected to it, what Palestinians are experiencing is infinitely worse. It's apartheid on steroids. We had violence gunshots and segregation but we didn't have bombs fighter jets and white phosphorus used on us as civilian population. When Palestine is liberated they would have to coin a new word for what they have experienced because they truly have suffered so much more

During Apartheid, Nelson Mandela was labeled a terrorist. In fact, Mandela remained on U.S. terrorist watch lists until 2008. Israel benefited from Apartheid by going around the arms embargo by supplying weapons to the South African government.
The reason he was labeled a terrorist was because he genuinely was one. He was one of the co-founders of Umkhonto we Sizwe which used violence and fear to terrorize innocent white people with no connection to government whatsoever.

During Aparthide, no white and black people were allowed to mix. I am an Israeli Jew, I have Palestinian frieds. As a teacher in school I have Palestinian pupils and my children are educated by Palestinians as well. We live here together and many also serve in the army. I dont have problems with Palestinians. I do have a problem with whoever is educated that Jews are desendants of monkeys and pigs and they should be massacared freely. Don't know, maybe not dying is just my thing, because many Palestinians prefer to die and live in occupation only for the chance of killing me one day.

Aparthied means overcontrol of every possible resource, travel, and movement. It's an inability to live and move freely. It's about having an outside force that controls every asset of your life and society. They decide how much electricity and water you get. The banking system is also competitive captured and monitored by occupied group. If someone wants to send money to oppressed nation then he needs to send this money to occupiers and occupiers will decide whether this money should go to oppressed nation or not.
Don't forget that colonists were taking all natural assets which impoverished those being ruled. They take the gold that peons only get to mine

Do you mean like people claiming Israel stole land from Palestinians in 1948?
Most people don’t actively seek contrary viewpoints even though they should in order to see both sides.
It’s obvious that Israeli government doesn’t mind killing civilian Palestinians and committing war crimes as it goes about eliminating Hamas but in terms of apartheid, I think there is a case to be made that the less control they have, the more terrorist incidents there will be. I think the end goal should be equal rights and/or a fully independent Palestine but I just don’t know how to get there without terrorism ramping back up.
What’s happening now isn’t the answer but it’s hard to blame Israel for wanting a full on war (however one sided) to end the terrorism once and for all. I don’t think it’ll work, and the government may have additional hidden motives, but I think that’s what the average Israeli citizen is hoping for out of this war.

I know South Africa is going through some difficult times right now, but whoever the folks are, standing up and calling out the genocide and the apartheid, need to be celebrated.
They have more courage than most heads of Muslim countries.
As far as as the system goes- remember this, there is no proper way a Palestinian can disagree with the government of Israel. There is no correct way, they massacred non violent protestors, and there is no legal recourse.
And sure, Hamas are terrorists, and they did evil things, but the Israelis indiscriminately butchered 35,000+ civilians.
For a terror organisation, Hamas is really weak and relatively less blood thirsty compared to the civilised Israelis.

Don't forget that, like at present with Palestine, the US and UK Govts were one of the last, if not the last, countries that shifted their policies to anti-South Africa/anti-aparthied, despite most of the others, and the UN, voicing it for longest. It’s not apartheid in the West Bank, it’s a military occupation. Apartheid implies a single state with different laws for different people, but this is not that. Israel has been out of Gaza for almost 20 years. And Israeli arabs have all their rights protected by law. There are a lot of ways in which Israel can improve, but it is not an apartheid, and I do agree with Lapid that such accusations smack of antisemitism (because the stretch from inequality in Israel proper to apartheid could be similarly applied to Black Americans regarding police violence, for example, but never is)
Is it fair to say Israel have been out of Gaza, when those in Gaza are effectively locked in? They don’t have freedom of travel, it’s described as the world’s largest open air prison. Their water and power can be shut off in a whim, so their lives are very much under Israeli control.

@RevolutionaryVision-pc3gw of course it does. A state is only obliged by its own laws and (debatably) by the international conventions they are signed to. It is why, for example, Israel cannot sue Palestine for genocide (as a non state entity Palestine cannot sign the genocide convention), whereas Israel can be sued in The Hague because it is a signatory. I say debatably because it is debatable if something can be considered law if you can be held responsible (e.g. sued in The Hague), but cannot be protected against perpetrators (e.g. they can’t sue Hamas in the same court). This makes these international agreements more as conventions than law.
As far as I am aware Israel is not signed up to any anti-apartheid convention, and even if so, apartheid under such a law could not possibly hold a state responsible against non-citizens.
But you said so confidently that it’s a legal definition, so go ahead: show me where?

The Israelis have long since realised this and therefore show a general apathy to world opinion. Those who loose out most are the Palestinians, who suffer so that the Muslim world can fight for the "Palestinian cause". An example of this is the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon, Jordan and Syria who are treated like second class citizens (you want to find an apartheid, look there!), because accepting them would be against their "cause" of returning them to Israel...

Does the non-muslim knows Islamic laws and can they strictly apply such laws/rules on muslim majority countries? Lets say theres Christian or Jews become the country leader, can they apply Islamic laws without any bias even though they have full knowledges about such rules? Tell us something we dont already know. I've been to Israel, I have Israeli friends, and I work for an Israeli security company in the US. On the flip side I also drove in the West Bank and I've had a few friends from Palestine and other surrounding countries. Granted, there's lots of stuff to consider, but I think Israel is in the wrong on so many levels. Clearly they don't care a whole lot about Arabs and the Israeli lobby in the US is undeniable in its influence. Add on to the fact that much of Hollywood is owned by Jewish/Israeli big shots, so clearly the media is catering to their narrative. By no means am I supporting Hamas, nor any violence on either side.
