Fr, I’m a stingy broke college student and this almost made me cave and shell out the money. The idea of literally anyone else, let alone the drawfee crew, drawing any of my ocs or even reading a bit about them makes me ecstatic.

im losing my mind??? farce was originally from a dnd campaign that i used to be part of! farce and styx (my character) were the Party Adults basically. i havent kept in touch with whittledraws but it's still really cool to see them featured on drawfee :-)

The gangs styles have been getting more and more unique over the years, like 5 years ago theres was a kinda "drawfee House style" but they are all so different now.
Thank goodness the producers insisted Nathan be let back inside just in time for Fiddleby. I love them.
Suggestion: in many animal species, the males put on colorful show to draw in the female. Many birds, like the superb bird of paradise, carolina parotia, costa’s hummingbird (aka squidface), or the greater sage-grouse, flash their plumage but also mudskippers, smooth newts, and peacock spiders put on a beautiful (and hilarious) display to attract mates. I’d love to see the Drawfee crew take these creatures looking for love and turn them into humans.

This is such a specific compliment but I LOVE how in Julia’s, the cat has the most detail in the lines but not the most in the colors. So your eyes are first drawn to the window on the left, and THEN you notice the crazy detail on the cat and he pops off the canvas. I’m obsessed with it. I love all of these
i had a funny little thought earlier.. giving each other photos of places (maybe normal places, or liminal spaces, whatever’s more fun) and creating a cryptid or monster to dwell in the area. i just think funny little cryptids and liminal little spaces are just so yummy..

not to like. assume how people are doing based on very little info but. it's nice to see julia vibing with a piece and doing something she seems to enjoy rather than prefacing with saying she phoned it in or she's been struggling. been watchin a lot of the older speed draws lately n it feels like its been a minute since i watched one where she had a good time lol. it's nice!!

i really really respect the drawfee crew as artist so much and all the genuinely wonderful advice they give as like… silly little quips. things like delete your art and how there are no wrong ways to do art. the “art is lying” thing being played for goofs is fun because that’s a genuine professional line of thinking with lots of artists and its just… refreshing to see real art advice be given in this casual and silly goofy way
had art profs fail to make me understand tangents in art for years only for drawfee to make it totally click in an offhand joke about not drawing what you dont need in the dark souls love actually video

All of these drawings turned out so rad and all the character designs are awesome! But holy shit I specifically gotta shout out Julia's drawing b/c this really feels like, idk, a milestone piece? Like you know those drawings you can point to where you're like, "damn I figured out SOMETHIN with this one!" These are incredible. I audibly gasped when Fiddlebee came onto the scene, and Nathan kept that wonder about him. Jacob's Sora pose was beautiful. Karina's twins did look intimidatingly hot. And then we got vintage Julia coolness on the already super cool gunslinging sphinx cat. Wow

IDK if Julia will see this, but I think CSP lets you export your workspace, including shortcuts. So she could export her preferred setup and have it saved on Jacob's computer for a quick swap when she wants to use it. Or if the layout needs to stay the same, she can start from Jacob's layout, change the shortcuts, and then save as new.
Fiddleby has the voice Jacob used for Luka in Beacon Pines and you can't tell me otherwise
And Farce W. has the voice of the granny-chasing horny old man

I'm only at the part where Nathan starts sketching but THOSE SKETCHES. God I love them. Character turnarounds with accurate proportions is something I'm practicing so this was very impressive even though I know for Nathan it was just a warm up.
Suggestion: you should try drawing Discworld characters that you've never heard of/based on their descriptions! There are so many incredible characters, like Nobby Nobbs, Moist von Lipwig, and the Hogfather!

These are the kinds of Drawfee videos that I never miss. The ones where the prompt is super specific but also really open to interpretation and personal expression. It really hits that creativity button in my brain. Another one that comes to mind is when you guys did a speed draw based on a three song playlist.

All the artists on this channel are sooo insanely talented but I see why they have Julia go last because her artwork each episode is always so different in some way and/or it exceeds our expectations and it makes for such an amazing conclusion for their videos :)
Julia is either gonna draw the funniest shitpost you’ve ever seen, or the most jaw dropping gorgeous piece you’ve ever seen with zero in between. It’s great every time no matter which one happens

What I like the most about Farce Willoughby(sp?) is that he looks like someone who has perfected his craft so long ago that he can afford to be a bit careless and absent-minded even in the midst/just after a shootout, as it seems to be the case in Julia's drawing (or at least that's how I read it, what with the inert Dobermen that could be interpreted as the baddies and the red splatters which, well, seem self-explanatory). He's just there slowly reloading his revolver, probably while humming a tune, much like a watchmaker with a few decades of experience in his pocket going into a zen-like state the moment they sit down in their bench to disassemble their Nth watch, muscle memory doing most of the work.
holding shift and then tapping will also give you straight lines with whatever brush you're using. I use it in a similar way to how you were describing your way of doing it.
All the drawfee crew are growing so much as artists. They've always been great but these speed draws really highlights just how incredible they are...

"dobermans are fun" "they're such a good shape" "pointy dogs" they're not like this naturally! What you're seeing is cut ears that have been trained (with wraps and objects or tools forcing the ears in the shape) while a puppy to stand erect. They have floppy, rounded-edge triangle ears naturally. Personally, I'm glad my boy didn't go through that nonsense (I adopted an adult).
These all came out so cool!! There are so many incredible artists and OCs in this community, I love these kinds of episodes for bringing them to the forefront!! 🎉🎉🎉

I love the idea of wanting to make an oc, and wanting to make them fashionable, but not knowing if you want it to be extra or toned down, so going "oh, I'll just make twins and have one of each"
Jacob's piece is 100% of him watching a scrap "shooting star" enter the atmosphere!! :D He's so heavily lit its like he's right by the landing site waiting to get to it first, but not particularly eager judging by his expression. What he doesn't realize is that what has just entered his atmosphere is no ordinary scrap heap, and is about to start his adventure...

that background is one of the best things I've seen Jacob do, and that's saying something. SEriously, Jacob's art in this episode was absolutely stunning. They're all fantastic, but he really showed up on this one.
