Great review Kyle! This vehcile doesn't look that bad. Especially this trim levels. I love the new position of the headlights, but other trims of this vehicle sort of blends in with the crowd. Keep up the great work!

Cool thing about this is the supercharger. No stupid turbo lag that the Germanz offer. AWD with bigger engine is good also. aLthough 340 hp is quite poor, competition gets 400hp from 3 litres.

How has it been reliability wise?
@@coflyer2949 Solid. Absolutely no issues, unless you count a blown signal light bulb and both headlights. Truthfully, I thought it might be a bit troublesome but it hasn't. Jaguar got this one right. ...and it's FUN!

Can’t lie, love Jaguar and seriously considering getting one. The only thing that doesn’t give me confidence is that I like to do basic maintenance jobs myself and I’m not seeing a lot of them on TH-cam 😬

The XF is a beautiful car! Beautiful colour combo, too! Blurple with latte leather interior! Very nice! For some reason, this blurple reminds me of that of some 90s Ferraris!
Please, make a Pure Sound video! The XE sounds a bit louder than the XF with the same engine!

I think many car companies are losing their touch. Everything seems to look the same as if parts are just recycled and put onto something else. The lights, styling, the interior, etc.
I agree! cars nowadays have no individual characteristics.

The chassis and steering are also losing feel. Taking away the driving experience in some sense.
I agree with the 3 of you too (and I own a jag) lol. But I think this is why people prefer older cars. Everything is so electronic and "advanced" now that its no fun. Something as simple as interiors from older cars. 80s, 90s, etc. Plain, simple, but unique. Everything looks like the next car now.

Yup its odd. The new vehicles are very capable and some of the features are great. But still a reason why i will always prefer older vehicles. Simple interiors and no electronics its great.

I think it is a beautiful yet subtle car. The Germans (3 series, C-class & A4) seems to have crazy, swoopy space age styling which I feel is a bit heavy handed. The XE at first doesn't stand out but its interior is great & I love the understated yet luxurious style that Jaguar has been doing.
I would love a XE 35t R-sport AWD, but the my only reservation is the unknown reliability & somewhat high pricing.
I like it I think its pretty cool. Honestly I would definitely buy ine of these suv f pace cars my god it looks good. The XEt r is very nice looking as well but I want to know what.kind tuning options I could get. obviously pulley will be available eventually and I'm sure exhaust will be soon as well. What I want to know is can I get a supercharger upgrade without needing change out internals

the new xj still has the jaguar soul. this new xe doesn't though. I can't really call this car a jag.
So the difference between the xe 35t r sport and the xe s is basically the tune of the engine and a couple of exterior styling cues or is there more than just that??

Hank's Small Engine Repair my 03 xj is reliable only thing I would worry about is the tech
After 2010 when Tata took over the company from Ford the reliability went up immensely. 50% in the first year.
They're better than ever now.

I'm thinking about purchasing a 2017 Jaguar xe but I don't know whether to go for the 25t prestige or the 35t premium. Ik there's a difference in the engine size but I was wondering if the 35t premium had the same amount of options as the 25t prestige since it has the next level engine. Or does the 25t prestige still come with more options since it's the prestige. Somebody please help.

Why do the two different Jaguars featured have their rear turn signal/hazard lights in different locations? Seems like an odd decision to me.
Had the pleasure of test driving this while my parents and I were searching for my first car. Great vehicle, quality interior. What ultimately drew me away from it was that it only sounds good with the v6, I wasn't keen on a 4 door, and I wasn't necessarily impressed with the infotainment system and dash

@@deeb.6060 hey man. Funny enough, I ended up with a 2016 Mustang. Still have the Mustang and have upgraded my fleet to include an 88 Corvette and a 98 Corvette. Sold the 88 after about 6 months ownership and currently daily driving the 98.

The prestige trim should at least come with full LED front and rear. Disappointing.

why are the rear hazard lights different on the blue one?
It's because of the american safety standards, which require a bit bigger rear hazards for better visibility! For this exact reason, the american safety standards also require marker lights!
@8:06 - 8:10, if you look more closely into the headlight, you'll see a white triangle, in the headlight's outer edge, near the front arch! In the European-spec cars, like the red XE, this is white and it's there for cosmetic reasons!
But in the American-spec cars, like the blue XE tested, this triangle is orange and houses a small light or a number of small led lights and, like the rear hazards, it's also used for better visibility! The marker lights can either be in the edge of the lights or in the bumpers, again near the wheel arches!
Also, many cars have marker lights at the rear too! The XE doesn't have them, though (or maybe, I didn't notice them!)!
But also allowed to be red for indicators ... worse, the same bulb as the brake light. i hate this regulation
I'd much prefer the diesel variant for the fuel mileage.
