  • The NEW Trailblazer RS is here and there are some MAJOR changes. The Chevy Trailblazer is now a subcompact SUV for 2021. Under the hood is the optional 1.3L turbocharged inline-3 that is producing 155HP & mated to a CVT transmission. If you option AWD you get a 9-speed automatic. On the outside the Trailblazer RS has some aggressive styling with unique front fascia, and 18in wheels. On the inside you will find special interior appointments that come with the RS package and lots of safety tech. Is the 2021 Chevrolet Trail a subcompact SUV BOOM or BUST?

You can even build your own, just go online to your nearest dealer and put what ever you want into your Trailblazer. I built one last night and I love it.

Why would any car being produced today not have a flat bottom steering wheel? Is it a patent issue or something like that? I like the looks but keep in mind, these have a timing belt and oil pump belt, much like the Ford 1.0 motors. Make sure you keep a powertrain extended warranty on these motors If you plan to keep one of these long term. These can and do break if you don't change your oil timely or use the incorrect oil. Belts are rated for 150k miles same as Ford but can be quite expensive for these to change out. Much harder than older timing belts.

    What a comment section very good info through out and glad I read threw them all almost for well rounded perspective and impression this car has left is definitely generating some talk and talk sells either way I may upgrade to a rear wheel drive vehicle instead and forgo the smaller 1.3 in favor of atleast a v4 preferably a hemi haha. Don't really like any of the Chevy SUV offerings, Tahoe's are expensive but probably their best trail capable SUV with towing and all. Glad I ran across this channel bravo on creating content ✨

    Joe, your reviews are top notch. GM really underwhelms on this product. 3 banger. No sunroof or comfortable seating at $26k, an no awd. I suspect younger buyers won't buy a Chevy like the older brand loyal sheep will. The Koreans are killing it. GM needs to step up their game before they become totally irrelevant. Recycling old model names saves on marketing but come on. This thing has no off-road prowess. Thanks Joe!

  • @Hennessy198
    @Hennessy198 4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    This thing was very strangely optioned. I know that GM Korea originally designed this to have dual-zone climate control and ventilated seats, both of which were cut for the NA release. Also, their base RS is completely loaded at $27k while this version basically locked away half of the stuff behind a wall of extra options, driving up the price to nearly $33k to completely spec it out. This might just be some shady thing Chevy did to boost profits in the US market.
    Also, about the back. That lip you were talking about was so shallow because you had the cargo floor raised. If you put it down to the lower position, there's a pretty sizable lip back there.

    I love my Trailblazer! I love the two-tone look with my two favorite colors and all of the red accents. It has a nice kick to it, surprisingly, with it only being a three cylinder with added turbo. Comfortable, and gets great gas mileage. I have also received many compliments on it. I have the added panoramic roof, which, for me, was a must. I found it online and out of state. I purchased a one-way plane ticket and drove her home! For me, it is a perfect fit!
