ATTENTION! 16 out of 20 of these lights failed in the first 1.5 years. DON'T purchase these. If you want to see why they failed and a complete teardown of the fixtures, check out my newer video here: th-cam.com/video/i-25wAIXlGM/w-d-xo.html
I did the same for my shop last month. The lights are great. No more shadows and lathe area is awesome. I had no issue with clips either. The lights weigh next to nothing so need to worry about studs. Like the laser and string method you used. I was lazy and eyeballed it since they followed a seam I am going to paint over but would do it your way if my space was not so crammed with stuff, tho mine took me 20 minutes after initial rewiring old ceiling light.
cool, this was the first thing I did when I built my workshop. I did have fluorescent tubes installed but their light were nothing compared to the led tubes I picked. I totally recommend this project to anyone with a shop, it's much safer to work in well-lit shop
you prolly dont give a shit but if you're bored like me during the covid times you can stream all the latest movies and series on Instaflixxer. Have been watching with my gf for the last couple of days :)
I'm still searching for a budget friendly option that looks like it will last. I've heard good things about American Green Lights but they're a bit more expensive.

But thanks for actually updating after 1.5 years
Hey! Someone noticed! 😄 Thanks for watching

I have a couple spaces I really need to do something like this with. The increased brightness factor is impressive!

@Marshall Aydin Yup, been using InstaFlixxer for since december myself :D
What light do you recommend?

What’s the power consumption like?
I haven't measured the power consumption myself, but they're spec'd at 40w per light.
