I think part of the reason DSaF works so well in having such a satisfying story is just it's dedication to actually ending, and working to make a proper conclusion. FNaF could have something similar, albeit not as satisfying just due to some things being left at the wayside, if it had properly finished at Pizza Sim or UCN. I had a big long ramble, but ultimately, it just boiled down to FNaF struggling to deal with legacy, because it can't let things die in any sense (except for some kids, I guess). (That aside, as a fellow phone lover I hope you're also excited about the Roger DLC for Dialtown. I can't wait to see the crew doing their best, even if Roger's best seems like a hot mess from the teasers
@angelstarrrs tbh he's probably the third least controversial of my list though, the most controversial ones would probably be angus bumby, valentino, and Arthur/Legion from that one fnf trollge mod. All three of them are great villains, but their actions are far more deplorable and honestly I'd kill those three as well, I hate them bit they work damn well as villains. The others are The Spot, Henry as we already know, Kane from pirate101 [partially cause nostalgia and how he can pretty easily have a similar feeling to Henry if he's going to be written well in arc 2], and Belos. Basically all of them are vile manipulators that have some vintage theming, except for Val but he's like my least favorite out of them so oh well.
It is so funny how Dayshift 1 was y’know Dayshift but has evolved into being a actual decent plot, even if it’s drenched in the series silliness Cute outfit by the way
I think Scott kind of has a point on him avoiding real life violence, most FNAF's violence is fantasy or off-screen. Like, William getting spring locked, spring trap in general, getting scooped as Mike and getting stuffed in one- all of the gore in the series has been kept to a fictional style. I think it's more in theme for FNAF to keep it this way, I always thought the series is kind of an ode to the kinds of childhood rumours and horror stories you'd hear at school, so having a copycat killer doesn't really fit in my opinion since it's not the kind of thing that children would make up.
Much as I hate the idea on principle, I do admit there IS a stark difference between goofy possessed animatronics stuffing you in mascot suits till you get crushed to death offscreen...and an actual deranged woman running around in a mask with a knife. One of those is WAY more true to reality.
I didn't realize this was a FNAF video until I opened it. The outfit was fire and I felt the need to give you the view and like just for that alone. Then I stayed for my FNAF comfort food theory/lore content.
I been seeing this video on my recommended for like- the past month, this is actually really good idk why I didnt watch it sooner 😭 dsaf hyperfixation save me, save me dsaf hyperfixation 🙏🙏

Dont you think i didnt catch how you added an "I love you" after Dave's dialogue. I honestly had to double-check it wasn't in the original for a second. You nearly got me. But yes, we all know he would've said that had Henry not interrupted. It wouldn't be the only ending in which him loving Jack would be mentioned.
@@carimeslockdownedtree2654 OH I TOOK THAT CLIP FROM A PLAYTHROUGH I PROMISE IM NOT GASLIGHTING!!! unless I am being Lied To..........???!!?? (by the Playthrough, i mean!!)
Hold on, minor flaw- I think Dsaf had more revivals than fnaf. Lemme check- So William died from the springlocks, the fire 3x, and we'll count Princess Quest. And Michael came back once. That brings us to 6. Now looking at dsaf, we have 1 per every main phone guy (Since all of them are springlocked before becoming phone-heads) which is 1 Peter, 2 Steve, 3, Harry, 4 Jake, 5 Roger, 6 The hired Mascot employee that gets springlocked in dsaf 3, and then moving onto the others... Jack died 2x and came back, same with Dave. Henry came back once (I think) And that brings us to a total of 11 revivals. Not that this makes any difference at all (Dsaf still does have superior character writing) I just genuinely wanted to count how many out of boredom.
Five Nights at Freddy's in my opinion had shat the bed real hard ever since the days of Five Nights at Freddy's 4. I sincerely believe that the FNaF series should've ended at the third game like it was supposed too. In my opinion the FNaF series has fallen off real hard story-wise at least and I honestly have no shame in saying that.
I'm a simple man. I see DSaF in a thumbnail, I click. ANYYWAY THIS IS A TOP NOTCH VIDEO MATE!! YOUR POINTS ARE PERFECTLY VALID I 100% AGREE GRRR NEW SUB NEW SUB

And henry is still in my list of all time favorite villains
SO REAL he's Such a well-written antagonist

One of those is WAY more true to reality.
Ok but then why make Vanny at all? Removing her knife doesn't remove the real-life aspect either, Gregory still dies if she catches him.
