Right on brother. Yea I had a nice break in and ride this weekend and while it will lug I can tell there are SOME adjustments to make to really bring this thing to life even more than it already is!
Now I'm not judging but if the CRF was as great I'd assume you wouldn't want this. But just like myself I'm assuming you wanted a more race oriented bike.
Hahah nah you’re good. Actually my last Kawasaki was a 450 and I fell in love with them. There are a few reasons I actually got the 250X due to wanting to have a second bike due to the “in case” situations. Like how I even just bent my front wheel on the 250F during the last GNCC. It took me out of the next weeks US spring enduro I had planned and this weekends GNCC in Indiana. So I thought about it before hand and decided instead of building ANOTHER CRF to get one that pulled me in more sponsorships. Honda does not recognize the CRF250F in their contingency race money either due to having the 250r and 250rx. So that also turned me away from building another one as a backup since I couldn’t essentially earn any additional cash from it. Some sponsorships were limited too. All in all it was a few things that made the decision come to life. The 250F is absolutely race capable. Not AS capable, sure thing…and they both have their pros and cons though while I’ll cover in my next video. Great assumption though for real as I’m sure A LOT of people were going to mention that!
@@ThatGuy-771 To be completely honest i always felt the CRF was the XR of old good at everything but not great at a few, I did the same except i bought a 2 stroke yz for racing and the crf is for more fun oriented times. I get it itll be cool seeing it go forward.
